  • If only I didn't throw away my dice I could probably do something like that...In any case, and I've mentioned this in the SU/D thread. Since people went and gone to do their own thing, and with the only ones left in the castle being Anne and Fratley, I think we could do something quick with Cid before we head off.
Hey Fratley, Just wanted to remind ya to post in FF9 whenever possible, just need Robert on the field so we can begin the whole event...

Still contemplating on who'll win it all. I've already decided not to give that to Anne or Twinny, and I doubt Lucia would be in the right mind for victory so it might boil itself down to either Robert or Atalanta.
Going back to our short FF9 topic, I was thinking perhaps Robert shows up when Vanessa gets attacked by a Fang or two and sees her use a fire spell somewhat accidentally on one of them before he reaches her. Sort of a show that she has some combat ability before her coming along is considered :hmmm:
That's really weird, i've got 'summoning failed' several times in a row now, was that you? :lew:

Also I was planning to have her on an errand when it happens and have someone rescue her from danger :hmmm:
On a completely unrelated note was pondering over how to get some interaction going between Robert and Vanessa, start easing her into being more comfortable around men :hmmm: /FF9 ofc
Nah, I think he just got killed by the kings before I could get down there :lew:

Also ugh, this is annoying, whenever I get down there in human form, not long after I get invaded by a cheap PvPer :gonk: reminded me of why I hate pyromancers and their advantage over everything with minimal effort -__-
I have a level 10 Knight Shield which has just over 100 defense, as well as full melee blockage, working on upgrading my Havel Greatshield for more defense.
Got rid of him at last, and ya, when I maged them I just kept my distance, your spell range should just about keep you out of their melee range, all you should worry about is dodging their spells. Pairing up a shield is a good idea, assuming you aren't using one already.
I'm tempted to do it here, he's just running around the ghost area, trying to bait me into following him, not a drop of actual combat ability.
