BACKGROUND

The world is in chaos due to famines, wars, and public distrust. It wasn't always like this, it used to be peaceful and relative calm. Until the major war of the races and this led to the famines and distrust.

It is 50 years into the wars, three mysterious warriors have appeared giving hope to all. This isn't true they leave all in ruins and commanding the once hopefuls as immortals. Immortals are the ruthless warriors changed by these mysterious warriors.

Now one is outside the town of Gesal. What will the citizens do? Bow to the warrior or be slaughtered by him? Time will tell.

The Story

It was early night and Gesal was having its yearly harvest festival.

The peasants and royals were all out on the street having fun. Unknown to them. They are in for the night of their lives.

The pirate Maxis was standing talking with some merchants.

"You were offering me 100 gil a crate early today. What happen with that offer?" Maxis said threatly and holding his gun to the guys gut.

"Well things change!" The merchant yelled and wave an arm and a few other guys raised their pistols at Maxis.

Outside the city...

Shadows were moving with nothing there. The this warrior appear in stunning black and gold armor. The shadows seem to follow him. He was making his way to the city...

-----------------------

Aloc had been flying for some time now, the fatigue was coming closer to the 'rest limit'.
This don't mean he cant fly more, it just means he is getting really tired.

The reason that he was flying at this moment, was that he had heard that the Harvest festival in Gesal where to be spectacular. Or at least, better then the ones in the smaller cities.

As he neared the city, he descended, somewhere in the forest.
The landings where the hardest part in flight.
He found an opening, and started to land. Forcing more, and more wind downwards, this slowing his decent.

Finally, Aloc's feet made contact. This have been a lengthy journey, he have been flying for roughly 3 hours.

Aloc collapsed his wings, and fixed the cape, so they are once again, hidden.

He checked his blade, and it was fastened as it should.
At taht, he started walking towards the festive town, of Gesal.

As Gilga emerged from a hilltop he could make out the dark shape of a small encampment. As he walked towards it he noticed a figure with a large axe is his hand, he appeared to be sharpening it against some kind of rock. As Gilga approached the man he stood up quickly with his axe in both hands, seeing that it was not an animal he walked towards Gilga.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
"What are you doing in these parts?"<o:p></o:p>
"I am fulfilling a vision."<o:p></o:p>
"You're what?"<o:p></o:p>
"Why are you so curious? It isn't really your business."<o:p></o:p>
"Whoa, didn't mean to offend you."<o:p></o:p>
"No problem, so... Why are you camping out here if it is so dangerous?"
<o:p>"Can't you see the axe?"</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p>As the man said that, Gilga thought to himself, "What is this man's true motive? He is probably hiding something, I had better make tracks though, it is already dark as it is."</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p>"I really must be going, sorry to disturb you."</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p>Saying this Gilga walked past the man and started searching for an unoccupied form of shelter. After a few minutes down the path he spotted a small cave, he saw no light and heard no sounds so he expected it to be vacant. Peering inside he smelt something similar to rotting flesh, as he began to walk in cauciously he saw what was left of a wolf carcass, it had been mauled apart leaving only bones and pieces of fur and flesh.</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<o:p>He quite reluctantly approached the carcass and began to pick up all the pieces, he then walked to the mouth of the cave and searched for a lake. Not seeing one he took his chances and threw it off into the distance, a few feet away. When it fell to the ground Gilga re-entered the cave and layed down on the hard, rocky surface and closed his eyes and awaited sleep's embrace.</o:p>

As the skies turned darker a young man observed the happy citizens of Gesal dancing and laughing. The gold bracelet he had on his arms was glowing...

"An evil tide is aproaching...i must be cautius."

Mikhail remained in the shadows watching and listening, he did not want to mix with the happy crowd for he knew that they would not be smiling for much longer.

As Aloc neared the town, there was an aura. Something was not as it should.
He could not quite put his mind on it, but there was something.
The fact that the sky darkened with alarming speed, did not make it better.

In interest of personal health, Aloc decided to be ever so carious, keeping an alert eye around, and getting the best of his senses.

Aloc was now in the outskirts of town. Celebration had barely started, or it was some that started early.
Though, none seemed to have the same feeling as Aloc. Everyone was in a state of bliss.

there had to be someone that had the same feeling, someone that felt this. Presence.

Aloc entered the main gates, trying to keep to the shadows, for more then one reason.
In the shadows, he had a higher survival rate, as well as his wings where better hidden.
