Never Ending Rp

((OOC; Fine, then I will :P))

IC;

The air was still as the first signs of the morning began to illuminate the sky with violet and deep crimson hues. A nearby lark sang his song, welcoming a new day in his forest home. Normally, other birds would be poking their heads out from their nests and sing along with the lark, yet there was a different sort of song this morning.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!!!"

The shrieks of a young teenage girl was enough to shake the canopies of the nearby trees and scare off the wildlife. The sleeping bag she was previously slumbering in was cast away and ended up hanging on a limb as she ran around in circles, attempting to swat off whatever was crawling on her. Her incredibly long, scarlet hair trailed behind the poor girl until she finally swiped a fairly large spider off of her head and into a heap of grass.

Nearby, a young man in his late teens was on his back, laughing his ass off and clutching his sides. He also had long scarlet hair and wiped the tears away from his green eyes. Watching his little sister become spastic over a tiny little bug was hilarious to him.

"Kyros!" the younger sibling cried out, fuming. "That's NOT funny!"
"I thought it was," he managed to reply between gasps.

The brother/sister pair were actually fairly odd to look at. Judging from their attire, they're obviously outsiders to whatever town they visit.

The younger sister, much like her brother, also bore an emerald shade of green eyes. Her hair was so long that she had to keep it in a high braid, lest she accidentally gets it dirtied or tangled. She wore a light blue bandanna with swirl-like designs of a darker blue shade. The bandanna in question is worn from the top of the head and is brought down around her neck, tied off in a bow in front of her throat. The ties that held her braid together matched the bandanna, as did her sleeveless top which exposed her middrift. Her violet cloak, which had a zipper just over her chest that kept it on, bore a similar swirl-like pattern on the inner lining. Her hands and forearms were protected by long, purple gloves that matched her cloak. The capris she wore were a much darker shade of purple, bearing six pockets and held up by a belt with pouches sewn into them. The hems had a blue wisp-like design that reached upwards a few inches. She had the strangest footwear, for she turned a pair of gray sandals into boots that exposed the back of her calf. Though from her strange attire, one would judge that she was a mage of sorts. And with that guess, they would be correct.

Kyros, the elder brother, was dressed in some fairly simple clothing. Keeping his bangs out of his eyes was a white bandanna with a yellow sun in the center. His yellow shirt with 1/3 sleeves was tattered near the bottom hem, suggesting that he had been traveling around for awhile. He wore a protective red leather vest beneath his blue coat, which had the coattails tattered as well. The coat was held together by a zipper as well, the fob bearing a full moon. The coat's chest pockets also had zippers as well, each one being an opposing crescent moon. His hands were covered with brown gloves, which had leather straps around the wrists to keep strange things from getting into his palms. The gloves were also in a bit of disrepair, the fingers being sewn together just to keep his hands warm. He wore tan shorts which hugged around his knees, bearing pockets with a red trim around the zippers. The shorts were held up by a red leather belt, which also held the sheath for his scarlet blade. He also wore rather simple, brown leather shoes, which were accented by moon crescents, much like his coat pockets. He was quite the opposite of his sister; a warrior instead of a mage.

"When are you going to quit doing that?" the sister whined, going over to a tree and jumping to tug her sleeping bag off. Just to be certain, she gave it a few shakes to make sure no other bugs were crawling in it before rolling it up.
"Awww...but Kyria, it's fun!" Kyros replied, sticking his tongue out at her. He just had to chuckle when she gave him her deathly glare. If looks could kill, he probably would've died back home.
"Just...no more pranks 'til we get to Gondon," Kyria warned. "...on second thought...no pranks even then."
"...I love you, sis."
"Shut up. I'm still mad at you."

OOC: Sorry for the delay. I tis about I join, no? ^^
And Ill head for the same town, might make for interesting conversations
---------

Zotok was traveling, without a set goal. He was mainly enjoying his free life.
After all, he had spent 22 years under the eyes of a whole kingdom. This was the first time he was free. Free from the watchful eyes of parents, commoners and 'babysitters' that hide behind the name of servants.

Still, all this was behind him. Right now, the thing he faced, was hunger.
He had been wandering for some time, and he began to get hungry.
So, checked the pouch, and there was plenty money left.

So, it was off to the city named Gondon, that he saw on a sign 5 minutes ago.

"I wish I had a longbow" he muttered to himself.
If he did have one, with an arrow off course. He could just fire an obelisk away, and use the portal to traverse much faster.
but nooOOooo. he HAD to turn down the offer he got in the last town.
after all 'what do I need a bow for'
Stupid move. Zotok mumbled to himself.
This was hi own fault, and he had only himself to tank for it.

He lifted his head, and looked.
"Well. I can at least See the city" he said to himself, somewhat more cheerfully.
Since he could see the place, this meant that he got closer.

Though, it was probably an hour left, or so.
Zotok Sighed, and continued.

"Why don't we stop. You haven't slept in three months, Eric. You need to rest."

"Shut up Sceler. We know what happens whenever Eric sleeps. We are not going to let you cause any trouble."

"Oh you are no fun my bright friend."

"We are not friends. The only reason you are with us is because we are the only ones that can keep you in check."

"Ahhh. Is poor Oti still pissed off I killed him?"

"You only destroyed my body. I'm meerly anoyed of having to listen to you talking all the time."

"Ok I think we've traveled far enough from civilization. Let's find a place where I can sleep."

"But Eric. You can't-"

"Do you not care about the well being of our deer friend Eric here. He needs his rest."

"That's enough you two. Everything will be okay Oti. We are far enough away from anyone that Sceler can harm."

The cloaked figure walked in the shadows created by the hill beside him. He soon came upon a cave and entered. Eric removed his hood. A moment later his hair turned a bright yellow, and his skin began to glow.

"Not Fair!!! How come he gets to be in control?"

"We need the light you fool so we can get as far into the cave as possible. Once my light goes out you won't be able to find your way out."

As soon as they reached the end of the cave the light vanished and Eric was in control once again.

"Now I may rest."

The moment he lay down he was asleep.

"Now I can have my fun."

OOC: LOL. new meaning to "arguing with myself"
-------------------
Zotok had been walking for around half an hour. And it did not seem like the town was getting any closer.

"aww. It cant be Thant big" Zotok complained.
If it indeed where that big, it would explain why it didn't seem like he got any closer, even if he had been walking for half a hour.

"Thats it. I'm buying a Slingshot in the next town." Perhaps one of the smartest ideas Zotok ever thought of.
They somewhat rare to come over, but they where effective. And Zotok could use it, to send an obelisk flying.
If he could find one that is.

He let out a big sigh, and continued along the road, white complaining to himself.

(OOC: Hey, I'm joining in now! Not quite ready to interact yet with everyone, but here's something from me now ;))

The sky was a dull gray, with the sun hidden away by the massive clouds that were threatening to show signs of rain in the near future.

Cali walked at an easy pace, her boots stepping through the moist, fertile ground without thought, although mindful enough not to step on any small creatures that lived within.

Amongst the vast field of green, it was almost impossible not to see her: dressed in a long black coat and with light blue hair with bangs covering her forehead, it was hard not to let eyes wonder towards the mysterious woman from the north.

The Ryndian let out a sigh, and her black eyes closed briefly in thought. It was long treks like these that her mind wondered back to her village hidden deep within the cold mountain that she had left two years ago. Despite the lack of emotional bonds to Tabith, it had still been her home. The place where she had been raised by the temple and had learned about the art of healing.

But not anymore she bitterly reminded herself. The memories of that day started to resurface, but Cali forced them away. The past wouldn’t change no matter how much she thought about it.

Although, she didn't really want to change anything; it was a given that the truth was painful.

She opened her eyes and saw a small service-like house set up ahead. Although it didn’t show on her face, Cali was relieved to see something different after walking in the fields for over four hours from the last service establishment She moved towards the single housing unit, and walked in.

***

The interior had a rough cozy feel to it, with the large animal rugs on the ground and various cushion furniture all around. A few people were sitting, eating and chatting, or just planning out itineraries.

“Greetings, miss. How may I help you today?” said the clerk, a middle aged man with a friendly smile

Cali walked up to the counter where the man stood behind and took out a small pouch and dumped out a couple of gil coins “What do you have in stock right now?”

The clerk quickly went through the item list and Cali made her purchases. “We also have serve food, would you like anything? For a young woman like yourself, we have fresh grapes-”

“Do you have meat?” Cali asked (OOC: This is going to be revealed later)

“Er, um, yes. My wife just made some chicken-” he started but Cali cut him off

“I’ll take it.”

“Of course” the clerk said before going to the back area where the kitchen was located.

The meal came and she took her place at a chair in a corner; everyone else was close to the fire place and Cali wanted to stay away from too much heat as much as possible.

She ate the bird meat with clinical detachment, but inwardly she was relishing every bit of the moist tender meat. Compliments to the chef she thought, enjoying the region’s unique spice added to the meat.

After eating, Cali pulled out a small knife from her boot. She reached within her coat and pulled out a small bundle wrapped in a cloth. Undoing the cloth revealed various green leaves.

Taking her knife she chopped up the leaves, running through them again and again, and Cali vaguely thought she should have asked the clerk if he had a mortar and pestle she could’ve used instead.

She quickly glanced up and saw that no one was staring at her like usual. Perhaps stranger beings had passed through during the day. She carefully brought the knife to her palm and made a delicate slit. There was a brief flash of pain, but accustomed to the routine, Cali wasn’t affected. She held her now bleeding hand over the cut leaves and let her blood fall onto them.

The crimson fluid dripped a few drops onto the leaves before Cali brought the hand to her mouth and licked the wound. She didn’t bother to watch flesh heal (OOC: explained in Cali’s bio, but this isn't godmoding). She mixed the leaves with the blood until a rough paste formed. Taking out a small tin compact from her coat, she opened it and placed the mixture within before closing it and replacing it within her coat once more.

Although she had magic, it was safer to use remedies like these lest she encounter foes that needed an extra burst of magic. Sufficiently prepared, Cali got up and left the establishment.

“Thank you for your patronage” the clerk said politely to which Cali vaguely waved her arm at

***

Stepping outside, Cali breathed in the fresh air, the sensation tingling her nostrils, and started walking on the path once more. The service stop faded into the distance and Cali continued to move forward until she saw a clearing on the edge of the path.

The grassy fields were thicker below the path, and Cali could feel the aura radiating from the various life forms. In the horizon, she saw a small mass of buildings where the city of Gondon was said to be located.

“Will you be there?” she murmured out loud before continuing forward once again.

(OOC: Well, there you go! This post was to give people an idea of what my character is like; future posts will probably feel more general and even shorter, especially when interacting with other characters. Anyways, I hope we can all write a great story together!)

Though she was used to traveling alone, she couldn't help but miss the warmth of companions. As she admires the scene of tall wild flowers across the field, she remembers her short stay in Darcerres. How it's been so long since she laughed ,ate a good home cooked meal, had a family.A grin appears on her face, then she shakes her head.

" It was just a short dream" She tells herself.

She proceeds to walk through the long field. She looks upward and notices the sun beginning to hide behind the clouds.

"finally some shade."she murmurs

Her pace quickens. Suddenly she smells a hint of what she thinks is roasted chicken.

Food
she thought. Her stomach has made clear that she was hungry. She didn't want to stray away from her destination. But she was so hungry and tired from her trip. Its been six days since she left the small village. And the last thing she ate was a couple of berries and a loaf of bread she brought along.

" I should of saved a piece of bread for today." she argued.

"I'm sure there would be more fruits along the way. Gondon isn't that far away i can wait til then... right?"

No matter what excuse she gave. She couldn't ignore her stomach.Who began to growl the moment of the possibility of food. She finally sees a small tavern. The hint of chicken gets stronger.

"This must be the place" She thought

"I'll grab something to eat and eat on the way to the city."
She nods her head. And proceeds to walk towards the tavern. She notices young mercenaries packing up there horses next to the tavern. A slight smile appeared on her face as she remembers her mercenary days.

"Was that a dream also?" She questions herself
She arrives at the doorstep of the tavern. Slams her boots against the wooded ledge to knock of the dirt that was stuck. She opens the door and felt the warmth of the fire place. She looks around. And analyzes the scene. (Many years of being a mercenary she has acquired the habit analyzing every environment) The men sitting around the fireplace drinking.

"Probably mercs.... drunk mercs"She chuckles .

The couple of young ones sitting around a table arguing about tactics. The blue haired girl eating chicken. Her stomach growls.

"food" she remembers. She walks towards the counter.

" Hello miss. Is there anything i can help you with." The man greeted with a smile

She nods her head. "What do you have to eat."

"well we have many choices, anything in praticular"

" I was hoping you had chicken or anything filling."

"Chicken?....I'll go see if we have anymore that are ready?" He smiles and heads through a door behind the counter.

"Great" she thought. she shakes her head and stares down at the floor.

She notices one of the buckles of her boot is unfastened. She bends down to fix it.Gets back up and looks around the tavern again. She wants to spend the night in one of the rooms. But she knows she can't.

"Gondon." she murmurs

She starts to remember the old Mystlin, who told her that the city of Gondon is where some of her answers lie.She snaps out of that trance when the man came through the back door.

"Miss, the next batch of chickens will be ready in a few hours. You are welcomed to stay and wait" he notifies her with a smile

" No that will be alright... Can you just prepare a loaf of bread for travel and..... if you have ham or any sides, pack them as well" she replies

" Of course " he nods and again goes through the back door of the counter.
Suddenly a young man walks through the front door. Kelis looks up from the list of items posted on the top of the counter. He looks at her, smiles and bows. She nods her head . But she is terribly confused by this young mans' actions.

"Do I know him?" she asked herself

He walks pass by her and she notices the Mystlin marking on the side of his neck.

**OOC: PLS NOTE CHARACTER BIO FOR DETAIL**

"Miss" the man walks through the back door

"Here is what you asked for and I added a few things free of charge" he smiles

" You did not have to do that" she replies shyly. She is not used to this type of kindness.

" Do not worry it is for the chicken" He chuckLes

"Thank you kind, sir" She hands him the money and heads for the font door.

She looks back to see if the young man was aware of her departure.
To her surprise he was and again he bows his head and smiles.
She smiles back and heads out the door.

"Did he known I was a Mystlin... a celestial?" she thought

But she couldn't give it much thought. Her stomach interrupted yet again. She looks in the bag the man gave and took out a piece of smoked meat and a small loaf of bread.Walking through the field and back on her path to Gondon, she eats her meal.

"It won't be to long" She reminds herself

OOC:This is my first RP.. so i might suck at first. LoL. Hopefully I'll get the hang of things later and my post will be shorter lol^_^

Following not to far behind Cali, but out of sight Crane was watching her as she moved on to the city of Gondon. Crane had seen her in the housing units window cutting her palm and mixing it with the various green leaves, Crane had been tracking her since she set off.
Due to him being hired as an assasin to kill her, Crane wouldnt normally accept bounty requests but this was an exception because he needed the money to have his sword, he didnt really care wether or not she deserves to die.

Crane had been tracking her for what seemed like an hour when she suddenly turned round, as if alerted to some unknown ententie, Crane instantly dropped to the floor and pulled out a pair of homemade binoculars he had made from salvaged pieces from the scrap he had found in the last city. He scanned the area and saw a shadow moving in the undergrowth to the side of the field, Crane wasnt sure wether to help her or not,but as he saw an object fly from the location of the shadow he decided, sod the money ill find another job, with that he hauled himself up and sprinted towards the figure of Cali, once he reached Cali he tackled her to the floor. "You better thank me for this he shouted before jumping to his feet and rushing off towardsthe shadows location. Crane ripped his katana from its sheath and held it in a defensive fashion, once he was within a hundred metres of the shadow he lowered his sword and slashed at a nearby tree, the tree fell with a dull thud and Crane had already taken refuge behind it to protect himself from the shadows projectiles, Crane pulled a dirk from his ankle holster and threw it in the shadows direction, but when he looked to see if it had hit, the shadow was gone, Crane turned back round to grab another dirk but found his own blade held to his throat.Crane could just make out a deformed face in the darkness of the trees shadows, and a tibal tattoo running down the arm holding the blade, Crane realised this person was a mugger who was obviously trying to earn some money by mugging Cali who looked fairly wealthy by the clothes she was wearing.
When Crane looked around for a way to get out of this confrontation he noticed some dark liquid on his arm, when he looked over his shoulder he saw a sharp branch stuck into his shoulder, Crane wondered how he hadnt noticed it but, put it down to the fact of the adrenaline of rushing after a mysterious shadow. Crane felt a sudden wave of naesua as he started to blackout, with his last ounce of strength he screamed at the top of his voice "HELP MEEEEE!!" hoping Cali could hear his plees for help....

OOC: I'll jump on the bandwagon and go to the same city as Kyros, Kyros's sister, Zotok, and apparently Cali and Crane.

IC:
A small child with tattered clothing looked up at a sign which said Gondon. She stood at the entrance of a city. Her companion, a capuchin monkey, tugged at her sleeve in excitement. The girl gazed at him. "We're here!" he signed in the signed language the two shared. "That means... food!" he signed jubilantly. The girl sighed. "Jack... you have too much energy. Now, we need to figure out what we're going to do for dinner," the girl signed in response. She looked around. Yep, this town was sure to be a pot of gold. "We'll try the pathetic look for a while," the girl signed. "We'll see if anyone approaches us. You know what to do." Jack raised his hand in mock salute. "Aye aye, captain! Geez, you get so grumpy when you're hungry."

Suddenly Jack got a little mischievous twinkle in his eye. "You're so cute when you're grumpy... aww," Jack signed before pinching the girl's cheeks in mock adoration. The girl tried to swat his hands away, but he had already stepped away from her.

"Die, monkey!" she fumed. "I'm gonna sell you to the circus!" The girl called Jack several unpleasant names as he laughed and bounded into the town. Nimble is so easy to play with when she's hungry, Jack thought. The girl ran after Jack and caught up to him. The unfriendly look on her childish face may have made another person's blood run cold. Jack, however, was highly amused. "Oh, ho... I am gonna sell you to the traders," the girl signed conspiratorially. "First, you're gonna help me get some food." The girl looked around. There were people milling around in the distance. The girl took out a scroll with the words "I am deaf. Please give food" written on it. "Time to test this place out," she signaled to Jack. "Gotcha, Nimble," Jack replied.

Nimble and Jack positioned themselves at a visible distance from the milling crowd they saw earlier. Nimble held up her scroll. Then she put on her award-winning piteous child expression. Her expression spoke volumes... It seemed to say Please, help me. Jack busied himself with picking up pebbles and looking like a monkey. A few passerbys looked on them with upturned noses. One passerby approached them. From his appearance, he looked like a man with considerable wealth. Nimble looked at him with piteous eyes. She held up the scroll and pointed to it. "Street urchins like you should not litter the streets," he replied. Nimble understood, for she was able to lip read. The man turned and walked off. Nimble held up the sign for a few more moments. Jack still appeared to be busying himself with mundane things. A few more passerbys walked past, pretending not to see the duo. Finally Nimble turned to Jack.

"Well?" Nimble inquired. Jack laughed. He held up a sack of coins. Nimble smiled. "I think we can stay in this town a while" Nimble told Jack. "Time to eat!" Jack replied. Thank you greedy rich guy, Nimble thought to herself. Jack had lifted the wealthy passerby's money after the man suggested for them not to litter the street. Technically, they were only doing as he suggested. Now they were to go into a shop or an inn and eat. The inn was nearest to them and Jack was getting fervent with excitement. "Let's go to the inn!" Jack began tugging at Nimble. He thought of all the things he could eat. Jack went in the direction of the inn with Nimble in tow.

(OOC: Yay more people!)

It took Cali a few seconds to realize that she was no longer walking on the dirt path but rather was lying face down in it. Scowling, she wiped away the smudge of dirt on her cheek before rising up on her hands and knees.

There had been something around, something dark, but whatever it was had disappeared.

“Help me!” a voice called out

Cali stood up quickly and looked towards the source; the man that had shoved her down. A thief of some sort had their blade against the now unconscious man’s throat. Half of her wanted to leave the scene, but the other half reminded her of her oath and she ran towards her ‘savior’ and pull out her long whip.

Why thieves these day had to kill their victim when they obviously couldn’t fight back, Cali didn’t really know, but she cracked her whip on the dirt ground, gaining the attention of the thief.

Cali grimaced at the site of yellow teeth when the thief smiled wickedly at her, but held her whip firmly. “I advise you to leave now” she said calmly

The thief smiled in a cocky manner, and focused his attention on her, leaving her ‘savior’ on the ground. “Well now missy, I could do that, but there’s no benefit to me.” he said

Sighing she held out her hand, muttering under her breath so that the thief couldn’t hear her, and slowly a ball of light was conjured up.

The thief’s eyes widened and Cali spoke “Then let me give you incentive to leave: If you stay here, I will kill you”.

The thief to his credit wasn’t an idiot and ran off. The ball of light dispersed into the air and Cali let out a sigh.

Well that was a waste she thought, annoyed at having to use magic just to scare off an idiot. Now Cali was certain there were stranger beings in this region if she was considered a target for robbery, even if she was wearing high quality material.

A low moan sounded and Cali looked at the man. Although her focus was more on the long branch protruding from her ‘savior’s’ shoulder, to which she gave a sympathetic wince. Luckily the man was unconscious, so he wouldn’t feel the pain from her ministrations.

She bent down and grabbed the branch and pulled hard, knowing the faster the source of the wound was out, the better. The branch came out in a clean pull, covered in dark blood. Luckily no splinters seemed to be in the wound, and she dropped the branch to the side. She pulled apart the fabric covering the wound before conjuring up another spell.

“Healing winds, guide your power to those in need” she said softly and green energy swirled around the wound, closing it in a perfect seal, although blood still covered it.

She stood up with her hands on her hips, took one last glance at the wakening man, and turned away and started walking on the path once more.

With the signs of the sky, she wouldn’t make it to Gondon without getting wet. Another annoyance.

That’s just great she thought, shaking her head and moved on.

Slowly Crane got to his feet and looked at were the brach had been sticking out from and yelled "THANKYOU".

Crane walked around abit to get the stiffness from his legs and picked up his muddied sword from the ground and wiped it on a nearby bush.
With that he started towards his next destination Gondon, but after two steps the sky turned dark and the heavens opened as it started to pour down.

By the time Crane reached the city he was soaked through to the skin. As he walked through the city he saw a small inn, that looked like he could bargain with the owners for a night if he did some work for them.
Crane walked to the door and saw that there was a roaring fire burning, that gave Crane the courage to swing open the door and try to get a nice comfy bed for the night.
"excuse me" asked Crane
"yes" asked the old man behind the counter
"would you be willing to let me off the payment for a room if I promise to do some work for you"
"maybe, wat can you offer to do for us" asked the old man.
"well i can cook, chop and collect wood for the fire and sleep" says Crane trying to sound cheerful.
"GET OUT, I KNOW YOUR KIND" yelled the old man. With that the old man pulled a rather rusty looking sword and started to jab at Crane, which gave Crane the choice of running only.

Later that night after walking for hours in the pouring rain, he saw an alley way, where a small fire was burning, this is where Crane had to sleep, he didnt have any money,no food and neither did he have anything to drink other than the dirty rain water that had formed huge puddles on the floor.Crane just hoped someone took pity on him and invited him inot their home.

Jack and Nimble had entered the inn. Nimble gave a small smile of anticipation in spite of herself. Nimble and Jack both carried a bag on their backs. They had sewn bags with straps for their arms and flaps so that the contents wouldn't spill out. Nimble also had a special belt she fashioned for storing things. She took out the book she used for communicating with others and a quill that she fashioned to hold ink inside of it so that she wouldn't have to continually dip it in a bottle of ink. She wrote, "I need a dinner menu and a room for two, please."

She and Jack approached the innkeeper. Nimble handed the innkeeper the book. The innkeeper looked at it for a moment, then frowned. He looked at the duo apprehensively. Nimble understood the innkeeper's look and pulled out enough coins to be persuasive. The innkeeper smiled and gave them a scroll with their menu options written on it. Nimble took it gratefully. I'm glad he knows how to read, she thought. This place even has a written menu! This town is pretty snazzy indeed.

Nimble and Jack took a cozy seat near the fireplace. As soon as Nimble began to look at the scroll, a swordsman entered the room. "Would you be willing to let me off the payment for a room if I promise to do some work for you?" Jack heard the swordsman say. The innkeeper essentially responded by pulling out a rusty looking sword, yelling "Get out! I know your kind!", and jabbing at the swordsman until he ran off. Jack told everything that happened to Nimble. Nimble gave Jack a flat look. "I know what you're thinking," she signed. "No. Understand? NO." The conversation proceeded with sheer facial expression only.

He deserves food too. Everybody deserves food.

NO I said.

C'mon... we have enough cash...

I know you understand the concept of "no".

The two looked at each other for a long moment. Jack looked at Nimble with his most persuasive look, while Nimble glared flatly at Jack. After several minutes, Nimble finally gave Jack a look that told him Fine, do what you want. I don't have anything to do with it. Then her stern look changed to one of concern. "Don't get killed. Please." Jack made a distinctly primate cry of jubilation. "Of course not," he replied. Nimble wrote down their orders in the book. Then she got up and took it to the innkeeper.

After a wait and a conversation with Jack about the weather and all the things to do in Gondon, their food was ready. Indeed, it was a full course spread. Nimble had also requested several cloth napkins. Jack dug into his haricot bean and pumpkin soup without hesitation. The soup also had tomatoes, chicken broth, and some poignant spices Jack couldn't make out. He ate greedily. Nimble started to cut slices of meat from the roasted duck that had been brought out. The duck had been spit roasted and stuffed with a variety of hardy spices and vegetables. It was even more tender than Nimble thought it would be. She laid the slices of duck onto her plate and ate hungrily. The duo devoured the soup, fowl, loaf of bread, fig pastries, and the basket of fresh fruit. Jack's bag had quite a bit more bulge in it than when they first entered the inn. Nimble had also added some provisions to her bag. The pair didn't believe in wasting food. When their plates were clean, Nimble went to go find out about their rooming arrangements. Jack stealthily headed towards the door.

Jack prepared two packages. He fashioned the napkins onto the packages with a string so that the napkins would balloon out and act as parachutes. Jack then took the packages and leapt from rooftop to rooftop. It looked like it would rain soon. Jack spotted the swordsman sitting near a fire. One of the packages was now a bit greasy from the duck meat. That package also contained some of the loaf of bread. The second package had fig pastries and some fruit. Jack lowered himself on the rooftop so that he wouldn't be seen. Then he lobbed the packages into the air above the swordsman's head. The packages ballooned out quite nicely given the slight current of the air from the impeding rain. Jack didn't wait to see what would happen when the swordsman saw the packages. He hoped that he could use the cloth from the packages and the makeshift parachutes. Jack leapt away and headed back to the direction of the inn.

Finally. He entered the main gates. The rain had started pouring ages ago.
He was lucky though, he wore leather. If it where cloth, it would be heavy as hell, and use some time to dry off.
The guards looked at him as he passed the gates. Their look was fixated at his sword, as well as the bandana.
There had to be a gang or something in this town.

He thought for a second, and came up with a genius idea.
He took a piece of thing nylon string. And tied it to his money pouch.
And tied the other end to his belt. This should help him snag any pickpockets.

The rain was pouring, and all physical areas of Zotok, was drenched.
He walked towards the first building that looked like an Inn.
He looked at the sky, and shouted angrily "Stop raining on me!" Muttering to himself as he continued walking.

Finally, a warm place to dry off, as well as good meal.He entered, and Walked over to the Innkeeper. "Can I see the menu?" he asked as his stomach growled.
"Sure thing" the Inkeep stated as he handed him a scroll.

"Hmm...." Zotok read through the scroll, and chose his meal.
"I will have a double serving of the 'rotihop' " he stated, a funny name. But it stated the contents, so it was no surprise.

((OOC. This is a dish I like to make in real life, this is the Norwegian name we have given fir it. Fear not, I will describe it later))

The innkeeper received the scroll, as well as the payment.
"Sure thing" he replied, while shouting the order to the kitchen. As Zotok walked over to an avalible table, near the fire.

He unfastened his sword, and put it up against the table and took of the leather bag, and put that on the edge. One could clearly hear that it contained various metal objects

(OOC: please read my profile, the metal objects, are the obelisks))

He looked around, and saw different persons. All from the so called 'nobles'. Which he was in fact one of. All down to the 'commoners' which he liked better then the nobles.
He looked to his left, and a young brown haired girl passed him. But he ignored it for now. As he saw the Innkeep coming with his food.

The plate was large, and the food was lying on top.
They had taken meat, potatoes, onion, and a few more ingredients, and cut into small pieces, and fried them all together.
He started eating, and it was as good as he had hoped for.
He did have a way of eating, that was enforced for years at the castle.
But he did not care, he ate as he saw fit. Which was slightly nicer then a beggar, but worse then a noble.

After a few minutes, the plate of food was clean. Zotok sat back, and felt full for the first time in a while.
He was gonna get a room for he night, but right now. He would just sit there a few minutes, enjoying the feeling of being full again.

"The gates" she murmured to herself

It has been the passing of three moons since she left the tavern in the fields, and frankly she was getting tired of camping out under the stars.
She quickens her pace. She can here the raindrops hit her armlet. The splashing of the puddles beneath her leather boots. Her heart pounding inside her chest. She arrived at the gate. And sighed with relief.

"Finally" She thought "I'm here"

She notices the guards at the gate, but didn't pay much attention. As she passed by she heard them speaking about the possibility of war upon them.

"War?" she thought "With who?"

She ignored the comments and proceeded to enter the city. Though the city looked dirty and gloomy due to the massive amount of rain. She couldn't help but to admirer the architect. Big towers towards the north."Probably royal or government buildings" she assumed. The local inns and taverns. The small bridge over crossing the city's small river. It reminded her of her father's city.

The loud sound of thunder startled her and brought her back from her memories.

"I need a place to stay."she told herself

She begins to walk through the streets of the city looking for some lodging. She notices the first inn. She looks through the front window. "Its way to upper class for me." she mumbled as she observes the nobles sitting in their high chairs drinking the finest wines. As she starts to move away from the window she notices a couple of commoners sitting. "They must've pick pocketed someone" she chuckles as she admirers the young girl with her monkey companion. Her eyes then gazes upon a young long haired man. She was dumbfounded. She couldn't tell if he was a commoner or a noble. His leather clothing was that of a high class nobleman, yet his boots were covered in dirt."no noble man will walk through the rain" she thought "or wear a bandana either"

She decided to move on to the next inn. "Weird city" She chuckles and shakes her head.

She notices a small inn after the bridge. She knocks her boots against the front steps and opens the door.

"Good evening, mi'lady. How may I assist you" an old lady speaks up from behind the counter.

"Hello, a room please...... and your menu as well" Kelis replies with a soft spoken tone.

The old lady nods.

"A nice warm bed" kelis started to think "how long will it last?"

Crane was awoken by two cloth napkins filled with food splash into the puddle infront of him, he looked left and right and could see no obvious place for them to have come from, but food was food so he tucked into the godsent food, Crane could make out some duck and some fig pastries and a few slices of bread, but he didnt care wha he was eaten it was delicious and warmed him up for the rest of the cold long night ahead of him.

Crane was later awoken by the splashing footsteps of a heavy sounding person when he was awoken by two lots of hands picking him up and dragging him. "your coming with us you little thief" growled one of the guards who had seen Crane entering the city early that day, "why what the hell have i done wrong" shouted Crane, and with that he wrenched his arms free from the grasp of the two guards, and started sprinting towards the nearest alley way. When the guards reached the alley way he was down he was nowhere to be seen, or was he he had wedged himself about ten meters above the ground between to small buildings, and watched the looks of the two guards as they walked back and forth as if to say "where the hell did he go then".
Crane shifted his waeight abit, but he hadnt counted on his leather trousers to have been slipery, there was a thump and the guards looked back and saw the unconcious figure of Crane lying in a puddle. Crane just hoped someone would rescue him from the two guards.

Jack arrived at the inn just as the rain began. He came in the black V-shaped tuft of hair on his head being wet. His white and pinkish face was a little morose from getting wet. Jack didn't like getting wet. It was getting late and there seemed to be a lot of travelers coming in. Nimble was seated near the fireplace when Jack spotted her. She smiled at seeing his wet form. "That's what you get, monkey boy," she signed in mockery. Jack smirked and climbed into her lap. "Arg, wet monkey!" she signed as she jumped up. "Hey, I have to get warmed up," Jack quipped. Nimble made a sign in which the polite interpretation could be, "You're full of it." Jack tried to give Nimble an embrace, but she successfully sidestepped him. Nimble gave Jack her mutinous die monkey look. She sat back down and snuggled closer to the fire. Jack sat across from her.

"Keep your ears out for leads. Let's try to find a weapons maker, too," Nimble signed to Jack.

"I already am. Did you get our room?"

"Yes. It looks pretty cozy." Nimble yawned. "It has two beds."

Jack and Nimble sat for a while, listening to various conversations. They saw several people come and go. Many of them were clearly travelers. Jack didn't pick up any information he deemed useful, though. After a time, Nimble signed to Jack, "I'm going to bed. Don't do anything stupid, ok?" Jack looked at her with mock offense. "Oh, ye of little faith," he replied. Nimble rolled her eyes and headed up the stairs to the room.

Jack thought about what to do for a while. Nimble had instilled in him a fear of random traders and circus performers who could potentially kidnap him if he were alone. Plus... he didn't want to get wet. It was now raining pretty hard. There were plenty of interesting travelers to play with. For now, he decided to follow Nimble and see the room. Sometimes, the beds were springy enough so that he could do somersaults if he bounced on them enough. Jack also headed for the stairs.

Crane awoke to find himself in a small cell that was on the ground floor of the jail and so he could see the inn.
He was hoping that the person who had thrown him the parcels was staying there and would hear his plees for help.

A man was lying in the middle of a big green meadow, with a rifle and a pistol putt aside. The man was looking at the sky thinking about what happened to him lately. The man's name is Heroc.
Then suddenly a dark clouds started to appear in the sky. That could mean only one thing.

''Well, it looks like it is going to rain here.''

Heroc stands up and puts his rifle on his back and his gun on his right thigh. Then he runs towards the nearby forest in hope to find a some sort of a shelter. The small drops started to fall.
Heroc finds a big hole on a tree and sits there to avoid the rain. As time passed the rain was falling heavier and heavier.

''Looks like I'll be stuck here for awhile.''

As Zotok had sat still long enough.
He got out of the chair, as a monkey ran past him. Ignoring this to the fact that many travelers keep them as pets.

He stretched to the sides, as he looked out a window.
His eyes cought a glimpse of something.
he fastened his sword, and took the bag over his shoulder.

He opened the main door, to get a better view.
There was a man sitting in a cell, which had no roof. So he was sitting boxed in, in the rain.

he exited, and walked over to the guard that was stationed there.

"Why is this man imprisoned" Zotok asked, without identifying himself.

"He was cought stealing from the Inn over there" The guard answered, while pointing to the Inn where Zotok had been for he last half hour.

"Do you have proof of this?" Zotok asked.
"Yes, he was carrying food in this bag" He answered. While holding up the bag that was clearly made for something smaller, then a human.

Zotok understood what happened here.
It had to be that girl, with the monkey. Helping a fellow poor person.

"I want you to release him" Zotok commanded.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!, what makes you think Ill do that" the guard laughed.

Zotok walked closer to him, right up in his face.
"I am Zotok Radaz. Prince 3rd in line for the throne." he said with a voice of authority.

the guard looked scared, and on that moment, recognized him.
"Y-y....y-YES SIR!" he panicked. as he recognized the prince.

Zotok hated that he had to reveal himself.
"Keep it a secret, and let that man out" he commanded.
"y..y-Yes, Mi'lord" he said in a softer tone as he missed the lock several times with the keys.

After a few attempts, the door swinged open.
"You have been falsely accused." Zotok started. "You are free now. do as you see fit" he ended, as he flinged over a cold coin to him.
"That should get you a meal, an a place to stay" he stated, as he re-entered the Inn he came from.

Crane shortly followed the Prince into the inn and asked "would it be ok for me to accompany you kind Prince" asked Crane in a tone that was half shyness and half happiness
