Here's the one I just finished.

Name: Cali Drist

Title: Ex-Priestess (see bio/history)

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Race: Ryndian; A race the looks like humans/humes except that they have pale white skin, black eyes, and blue hair. As well, they typically live in the cold northern part of the worlds. Biologically, the can with stand extreme colds and wind, but respectively are weak against fire; can withstand warm weather, but not extreme heats like deserts. Additionally, 1 out of every 1000 Ryndians are born with curative abilities in their blood that their culture believes to be blessing from higher power. As such, these select few are revered among the masses as holy beings. However, because of their incredible ability, they must offer their blood on a regular basis for religious purposes more often than healing reasons. As well, Ryndians born with curative blood are encouraged to undergo training to encourage their healing abilities and learn spiritual magic rather than physical offensive skills. To humans and other species, a Ryndian’s blood would taste sweet. Can have children with humans and other humanoid species.

Hair: Straight, blue shoulder length, with bangs covering the forehead.

Eyes: Black eyes, so dark you can’t see the pupils. Additionally, Cali has a long scar cut on her left eye (someone looking would see it as being her right eye). Her eye isn’t shut, it can open and such and her vision is fine.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches

Weight: I’m not really sure but I’m gonna say 145 lbs

Complexion: Pale, almost white ivory skin. Feels very smooth, like satin.

Build: Lean and lithe. A little under average of normal size. Somewhat hour glass shape. Normal size bust.

Noteworthy Features: Aside from the scar on her eye, she has absolutely no marks on her body. Whatever scars she may have had all heal eventually with her curative blood. She also has silver earrings (think Tifa’s pearl earrings from FFVII) and wears a black leather cord around her neck. She carries a very small blade with a stone handle in her boot; she doesn’t use it in battle, only for more practical uses like likes medicinal herbs, food, etc.

Attire: Knee high black boots with white fur trim (very sturdy, made from an animal). Wears black leggings and a black sleeved v-neck shirt that is very clingy. Over that, she has a black sleeveless tunic that reaches her mid-thigh and is tied with a black fabric. She wears a long black winter-coat that reaches just above her ankles. It only buttons from just above her cleavage (so her neck is still exposed) down to waist. So you can see most of her legs. The coat has white fur trim around the wrists and collar and where the coat would be button upped. She also has leather gloves, but often just keeps them tucked in her belt behind her back, beneath her coat.

Personality: Currently, she is pretty stoic with other people if it just a brief encounter but is kind-hearted to children, animals, and wounded people. I would expect that she has room to grow more open with other people around her on a regular basis. She has been alone for a long time, so she is pretty critical when warming up to someone.
The best way to think of Cali is as someone who tries to keep a distance from people. As a healer, she does what she can to treat people, but takes off right after. She doesn't stay in one place for long. It isn't that she doesn't want to form bonds, but she's focused on only one thing right now, and she thinks it better to have nothing than have something and lose it anyways. So if you were to be alone with her for no reason, it would be awkward since she would try to push you away; only people that are persistent can get anything out of her

First Impression: Straight forward, little interest for other people unless they need help with sickness or wounds. She has an internal obligation to help people if they need her abilities (think a Doctor’s oath) . If you were going to ask her for help on building a house, she’d very likely say no. If it bandits terrorizing villagers, than she’ll help out. If you asked her a question, she’ll give you a straightforward answer.

Weapons: She does have a whip. It has a long reach, about 10 feet. It’s made of leather.

Armour: Just the clothes on her back

Magic: Cali is a magic-user. She can heal characters from a distance, but the closer she is, the more damage is restored. Same with offensive magic, the closer the more damage is caused. As well, the more targets she has in a single spell, the more MP is expended. Over time MP is restored, but if she can’t use her spells she is pretty much an a moving target; her whip can only fend herself for so long. Using magic does tire her out. Her curative blood acts somewhat as a natural regeneration effect, but very slowly restores HP; it would be better to just cast a spell on her self. On the other hand, if she gives blood to someone (say 250 ml) it has a major curative effect, but blood loss will eventually weaken her; giving too much blood can weaken her considerably to the point where she is unable to even stand, and very likely too much blood loss will make her faint. Her blood is more of a last resort method and often just something used in the context of the story and not so much in battle, so she relies on magic a lot more than blood. She can use offensive elemental spells (including light and dark), and she has a one non-elemental spell “blast“. The stronger the attack, the more MP is used.

Healing Power to heal small damage: "Healing winds, guide your power to those in need!"(light green swirling energy surrounds target before disappearing)

Healing Power to heal medium damage: "Gentle rain, soothe us miserable mortals!"(small rain cloud forms above target and they literally get rained on before it stops and the cloud disappears)

Healing Power to heal large damage: "Heavenly sky! Bless us with what we can not procure!"(cliche but the clouds part in the sky and sparkling light falls on the target before the sparkling stops)

Supportive Magic to cast 'Haste': "Then, now, and later! Time will obey me!"(target's speed increases to twice as normal; sun dial appears beneath the target, and target is surrounded by orange light that spins quickly around them. The sun dial disappears, but an orange glow remains on the target until the spell wears off; spell lasts five minutes)

Supportive Magic to cast 'Float': "Beautiful song birds! Give us lift!"(Energy feathers appear on the target's back and then they begin to float until the wings disappear; spell lasts five minutes)

*For Offensive Magic, all levels of the elemental spells have the same incantation*

Offensive Magic to cast Light Damage: "Spiritual light! Condemn those who oppose me!"(a ball of light forms and is thrown towards the target)

Offensive Magic to cast Dark Damage: "Misunderstood shadows, aid me, an ally to your pain, and thrash those who harm us!"(from the shadow of the target, blackish purple energy rises and goes through the target, before disappearing in the targets shadow again)

Offensive Magic to cast Non-elemental Damage: No incantation, just a spiritual blast from Cali's hand that looks like a transparent white ball.

Offensive Magic to cast Fire Damage: "Ash, cinder,embers! Roar to life and go with my will!"(red energy appears in front of Cali and than forms into a fiery ball and is launched towards the target; this is Cali's weakest element attack, is she does a major fire attack, she gets a little damaged as well, unless she wears her leather gloves)

Offensive Magic to cast Ice Damage: "Frost, chill, snow! Form now and smite those who harm me, your comrade!"(a cloud forms above Cali and first snow appears before several small icicles form and launch down towards the targets and then the cloud disappears)

Offensive Magic to cast Thunder Damage: "Tremble and flash! Crash down on the fools who stay in your presence!"(a dark storm cloud appears above the target and lightning strikes the target before the cloud disappears)

Offensive Magic to cast Water Damage: "Turbulent waves! Cash down on the arrogant ones!"(blue energy forms above the target and turns into water and falls like a hard waterfall before stopping)

Offensive Magic to cast Earthquake Damage: "Shake with terror! Rumble deep to your hearts content!"(the ground in the designated area literally shakes hard until it stops; anyone standing in the area will be affected)

Offensive Magic to cast Wind Damage: "Air, turn hard and fast and slam into the foes who threatens me!"(a strong gust of wind will appear and literally slam into the enemy)
In terms of stats, she has high magical stats so she can use low level spells that do decent damage/restorations. She magical resistance is high as well. Her defense is low, so if you can hit her with a physical attack, it‘ll do more damage than normal, her attack is not as high as her magic spells. Her evasion is good, her speed is a little higher than normal. Her endurance is moderate. Her whip accuracy is very good, but she does more damage with spells than regular attacks.

Quick History: Cali was born but her mother died during child birth. Her father is unknown. When the physicians found out she was born with curative blood, she was handed over to the temple where she was raised. As a orphan, she had to deal with childish bullying from other children. She went to regular schooling, but she was treated differently. Unfortunately, while someone in her position was suppose to be revered, she was seen more as a freak. Cali forced herself to close her heart off and diligently did as she was told. She endured daily blood offerings to the shrine, and trained to hone her innate magic skills until she was 16 years old. She was given the honor of being a Priestess of the temple, the youngest in the 1000 year history. She took the oath to help lives, and worked as a healer.

However, when she turned 20, she left the Priesthood and her village of Tabith and began her journey to search for something *reasons to be revealed during the story*

My number one problem is your magic. Not only is it totally unoriginal (I don't mind if you draw IDEAS from the FF stuff, but this? not so much), but there is no description of appearance or effects whatsoever.

I'm going to get back to you, my back is killing me and I can't type right now.

Fix that up, and I'll have a look at it soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Hehehehehhehehe, dat ish jusht da beginning, mein fraynd!

Magic still remains your downfall. There are several things that I must point out.

Removing status ailments is pointless. There are no status ailments allowed in RPBs, so a spell to remove them would be pointless.

Protect and Shell. I'm sorry, but either those spells get significantly reduced in their effects, or they go. I hate making an ultimatum like that, but they ignore the fundamental rules of Power-gaming. You cannot negate physical damage. Perhaps you can lessen it, by a small amount, but it can never be negated. I assume, from the lack of description on Shell, but relating it to Final Fantasy, that Shell does the same. Same thing goes for that, I'm afraid, you can only reduce it by a small amount.

Revive magic is a no-no. Not only is it absolutely pointless in an RP, but it would defy the laws of God-modding and power-gaming. Not only would you be controlling another player, but you would also be using a spell that is extremely powerful. Reviving someone is not a good idea, it's way too powerful and controls other characters.

For all of your 'enchantment' spells, or spells that will last a certain duration, you must specify that duration. Spells like Haste and Float, for example, work for a certain amount of time. Also, you'll have to put in the effects of Haste, that's not clarified.

I'll leave it at that for now. There's way too much to change ;) You've gto your work cut out for you.

I still need to know how long Haste and Float last for, but you've improved in the magic section greatly.

Personality is a bit lacking. We'll need more than that, there's not enough; I can't feel like I know her. With my imagination (no arrogance intended), it isn't hard for me to picture this stuff, but I find it difficult to imagine what she'd be like were I to, for example, spend a day with her.

Fix those up and I'll have another looksee ;)

Although I did say that "All support magic lasts 5 minutes" and that was suppose to apply to both Float and Haste (they are support magic, right?), but I'll put it in individually if it makes it easier for other people to see.

I'll do what I can for the personality, but like I said before the idea with Cali is that she's suppose to start off stoic and distant, but eventually warms up throughout the development of the story (I know, I know, the over-done character pathway, I'm not THAT creative :P).

As well as my own OCs that show up to incrementally to release tid bits of info about Cali for the other RPers knowledge.

But if you're interested in her personal bio that is kind of a secret, just let me know and I'll PM about that.

the new revision for personality is in color, and I fixed a few lines from the other stuff, so check out the bio again when you get the chance.

Hopefully it will be the last time for this character :D
 
Ah, so she is an ORPG/URPG character. This clears a lot of things up.

Alright then. I'm still skeptical about the magic names, but I suppose I shoudln't ride on you too much about those. Since it is for URPGs as well, or so I gather, the FF-named spells (that you have NOW) are alright.

One thing though: Next bio, say if it is a URPG, ORPG, and/or RPB character. If I'd known this character was for URPGs and ORPGs, I wouldn't have been so hard with the spell names ;)
