BOARDS

Message Boards – The message board includes updates from various people who would like to inform others of messages. Many messages posted here will be of updates of the role-play and events happening at the moment of the role-play. Also messages and statuses of students will be displayed here. The way the system works is if a student would like the attention of another student or group they will PM me and I will post up their message on the board and date it. A typical message will look like this:

<William>Byron and Camie, you guys can go on without me. [3/29]<William>

Name of Student-Message-Date-Name of Student

Messages are a great way to get a gist of the current happenings in Eureka Academy. Don’t know what to do or where to go? Check the Message board for something!

Mission Boards – The mission boards are for students who sign up for student missions. Students who wish to partake in missions should post in this thread their student name and the title of the mission they wish to join. Certain missions are catered to different types.

Missions titled in blue are easy missions and favor students who want to learn a bit about missions before they tackle the heavy stuff. Any student or teacher can choose to participate in a blue mission. Missions with orange titles are a bit riskier than the blue missions and normally involve fighting wild monsters. Most of these missions can be joined by anyone.

Certain missions have certain parameters in order for students to participate in them. For example a mission may require a teacher to lead a team of students to fight a ferocious beast or the Mission may belong to the blue sect students only. Missions are also a great way to raise ranking points!

Only a certain amount of participants can go on a mission at a time. On most missions students will have to interact with other npcs in order to know what's going on.

Ranking

The ranking system at Eureka Academy is taken very seriously. A students rank not only displays their achievements but it also shows how powerful and wise a student may be in combat. Rank is given to students through many occasions. Perfect attendance within the RP gives a student an extra 10 rank points to begin with. There are many ways to gain Rank including training, reading up at the library, performing a wise move in combat or completing a mission. Increase Rank to become the ultimate student. In Eureka Academy!

Below is the ranking system and the functions that can be unlocked with rise in rank.

Ranking System:
Level: 1-15: Rat - Noob
Level: 16-30: Rabbit - Gain access to leave the school campus.
Level: 31-45: Pig - Go on challenging missions
Level: 46-60: Dog - Rise in sect
Level: 61-75: Ram - Gain a vehicle (car)
Level: 76-90: Horse - Access to Eureka Town Store Merchandise
Level: 91-105: Snake - Gain a pet (any kind)
Level: 106-120: Ox - Rise in sect
Level: 121-135: Tiger - gain a vehicle (flying ship)
Level: 136-150: Dragon - Gain an extra ability

The World

Portals – In the world of Eureka Academy mysterious portals that have appeared, linking the world to various places/dimensions. The shape of these portals are oval and are shaped as big as a human. They can be seen in almost any location, floating in the sky or hidden beneath the sea. Portals can be entered by humans as a way into another world. Eureka Academy students on missions can travel to different universes through these portals in order to accomplish a mission. Once their missions is accomplished the students will be automatically placed back into the worl of Eureka Academy as the timeline will place each persons within their respective times. Though the information of these mysterious portals is not much it has been known that there are three different types of portals:

Blue portals are simple and only lead to a different location. The distance of the locations is not known and these types of portals can be closed by removing an object nearby it which keeps the portal open. These are harmless.

Red portals are unable to be entered. They instead wait for others to approach them and as soon as they are approached a monster from the other side of the portal is unleashed. The only way to close this portal is to defeat the monster guarding it. Once the monster is defeated the portal will close.

Purple portals are portals that have to be closed from the other side. These missions are a bit risky and only a certain strength can complete them. To close these portals a person has to travel through it and defeat a being that holds the portal open in the other world/dimension the portal leads to.

The portals that have sprang up in this world could completely destroy time and space. To keep things safe it is up to Eureka Academy to put a stop to the chaos and to lead the world into a safer place for generations to come.

Locations - This is basically an open RP. You can do what you want, fight what you want, go where you want, the works! Students at the academy can make clubs, hang out with friends, date, party, and kick major butt.

The school:
The school is vast and there are many opportunities students will get to try. There are many sects within the academy:

Headmasters Office: Located on the fourth floor. This office and living quarters takes up the whole floor.

The Great Hall: This is where students like to gather, talk, and hang out. It serves as the entrance and exit to the school so a lot happens here. Can’t find a friend? Try waiting at the Great Hall! School mission groups like to gather here.

The Library: The library holds vast knowledge and information about almost any and everything. Books line the shelves in this tunnel of knowledge!

Cafeteria: A place where all food is served. Students come here to get a quick meal or to play games. This is quite a lax area and is easily found near the giant staircase.

Arena: the arena is the place of action for the school! Student’s gather to view the daily battles there. Students can reserve the arena for battles and challenges for each other. Sometimes even school tournaments.

Auditorium: Students gather in the auditorium to watch a play or to hang out. This is a place buzzing with life. Anything from important announcements to musical acts are seen here. Many school wide meetings are held here.

Courtyard: The courtyard is a place for students to relax and talk. Mostly couples come here for a romantic retreat. it is located right outside from the cafeteria and is a great place to have lunch. Many rosebushes can be see here. A memorial to the former headmaster is also found in a certain section of the courtyard.

Training center: The training center lies on the basement floor of the school. It takes up a lot of space and is wide and open. Anything you could possibly need, from fitness equipment to dummies, to computer generated cpus(To fight with) can be found here. This is a great place to raise rank.

Parking lot: When a student reaches a certain rank, they are given a vehicle in which they can drive to other destinations. When given a vehicle you can park it here. It’s okay to drive other students around but most students won’t be leaving the campus anyway…

Infirmary: A place to go when you’re not feeling so well. The nurses and doctors at the infirmaries will have you feeling good as new in a jiffy! Located right at the end of the second floor hallway past the classrooms.

Dormitories: The dorms are located on the second floor of the school. The different sects of the dorms are split up into groups and reside on different hallways of the third floor in the school. The dorms are separated by gender and usually bunk about 4 to a room.

Classrooms: Students can enter a classroom on the second floor of the school to learn new skills and tips. Usually there might be certain lessons taught in a class. If you use these skills taught and learned you will become a better warrior and may even get a boost in rank!

The Town:
Eureka town is small but it has a lot of activities planned! Sadly though only experienced students get to hang out here. The newer students are not permitted unless they are with an older student. New students are encouraged to get used to the academy before attempting to explore the town on their own. Only students with a rank of 20 and over may leave the school. Some of the stores require a certain level of rank in order for you to shop there. The town is nice and it's residents are quaint. It has become a place for relaxation and peace on the floating island.

Park: The park is a nice and quiet place littered with trees and greenery everywhere. It contains benches and a huge fountain in the center. It’s a very relaxing environment where many people com to get away. There is a stone path leading throughout the place.

Eureka Square: The town square is full of bustling people. Here you can just sit back and watch the townspeople go about their daily business and enjoy a snack from the many of the food establishments. A giant statue of an old man stands in the center of the Square. It is of the founder of Eureka Island and it's town's founder.

Club Panda: A local woman named Mandi runs this club. It is a nice place to mingle and party when there’s nothing else to do. (must be 18 to drink alcohol. No smoking permitted…)

Pet store: Yes, a pet store! You are allowed to keep pets in your dorm, but only if you clean up after them! All kinds of pets can be bought from here! From dogs to Goldfish to baby dragons they have it all! (Must have a certain rank)

Vehicle store: The vehicle store sells cars, trucks, vans, and certain special vehicles for your liking. (Must have a certain rank)

Nicolo Zorzi...not applying for any mission (He's gonna be taking classes all day this day)

Ooh hell yeah nova was MADE for that "research" mission...

I also have access to tech that will make that airship mission a nigh certain victory... Assuming you dont mind bending the rules just a tad:P (whaddya mean "antimatter drives are illegal?!" They arent mentioned in the rules!) Which i can make availible to anyone who needs it, assuming it doesnt clash with my own classes...

Rosalynn Hera for Trouble In Paradise. It would be her first travel underwater . :ryan:

For a second there, i thought you said "it would be her first travel underwear." i did a double take there when i was skim reading

Ooh if that trouble in paradise mission needs some executive oversight feel free to add Prince Horatio Nelson Charles the Third to that mission:)

On the contrary, FF, I believe James would be the better choice for Trouble in Paradise on the grounds of staff oversight for the students as two of the students there are already two students signed up for it that are meant to be interacting with James (that is if we're still good on that Ringo and Raye). That and James has far more experience in this sort of thing. That being ocean and ocean related magic. And there's the fact its unlikely anyone comes to the library yet; its only first day of classes.

And I'll be pushing Mishra for the Research mission.

I think the Trouble in Paradise mission is only open to students anyway. (Also, yeah, we're still good on that, Gavin.) It doesn't mention teachers in it, when the other missions do. So, that leads me to believe it's exclusive to students. However, Oli could have just forgot to put it in, but I don't think he'd leave something like that out. :hmmm:

It was supposed to be a student only mission ><. The paradise mission team was already going to have Akabea escort them but I was being rushed off the computer at the time I was typing those in so I forgot. -__-

Orion'll go on Trouble in Paradise as the final person, unless I counted wrong and it's full.

If it is full, then he'll go on Sky Diving instead.

Okay so all missions are locked except the Guards mission reserved for red sect students only. The rest wiill just have to study in class for the rest of the day ^^. Morning missions will depart once everyone's team is assembled. If the persons are not ready at the moment the team leaders pull out the student will most likely miss out on mission opportunities. Have a good day students and study hard! <3 Headmaster is back and determined >:]
