The School Leaderboards show the progress and rankings of the students in the school. The students shown here are among the best of the best. The mission board shows what students are performing the best in their missions and which students successfully complete their missions. The Arena battles show which students are on top in terms of power. This list can be comprised of any students who have challenged another student to an arena battle(small rpb) and won. Honor roll boards keep up with the students who are attending school and classes on schedule. This takes into account students who stay in class more than going on missions. The War hero board notices the warriors who have managed to perform incredible feats in battle. This particular board is hard to get onto.

This is a record of all within Eureka Academy. If one wishes to know more about another student they can imply go through the school archive! The knowledge gained cannot be given to an Rpers character though. If a person looks at another characters history they may want to have their character try and get to know the other character's past as their own character would not possess the same knowledge they do.

NPCs

NPCs are just characters around Eureka Academy that are not controlled or played out by any specific person. They are also seen a little less than the characters that are roleplayed by actual people. The NPCs below can be controlled or mentioned by all roleplay participants BUT they cannot be harmed, do harm, or anything out of line with their personalities stated below. Failure to comply with these terms will be met with a warning and a nice edit of whatever the problem text may be. =) If you wish to add an NPC of your very own to the list just PM me with their Bio in the template below. If you with to use an NPC as a character permission from the NPC creator must be given and a bio from the character template must be given for the character.

NPC template:

Name: [name of the character]
Status: [Their title in Eureka Academy, for example, Staff, Student, Citizen, etc.]
Occupation: [Their job or purpose in Eureka Academy. If none put N/A]
General summary: [This may include character history, relative importance, personality, and anything that may be useful to point out.]

Milly Thompson
Status - Eureka Academy Staff
Occupation - School Nurse
Appearance -
AnimeElf.jpg

General Summary - Milly Thompson, better known as Nurse Milly, has been around Eureka Academy since it's first opening. While she may not look it, she is at least 175 years old, being more that twice as old as the academy itself! Nurse Milly has an appearance of an elflike race, but has not discussed her origins of her former life to anyone. Her knowledge in medicine reaches far and wide with her being able to conjure up almost any medicine from nature. Though she is very skilled and can heal nearly any wound(if her patients are still alive), Nurse Milly cannot bring back the dead no matter how much she tries. She generally tries as hard as she can to keep the students of Eureka Academy as healthy as possible, overlooking the fact that she is a heavy chain smoker. Milly's smoking habits are only practiced in her office at Eureka but she reeks of the stench herself. Her calm and laid back attitude normally makes it hard for the general comments of dislike of her habit to seep through to her. Overall Nurse Milly is a very dedicated person to her duty and she works hard to keep Eureka Students going.

Justise West
Status - Eureka Academy Staff
Occupation - School Groundskeeper
Appearance -
451802-walter_c._dornez.jpg

General Summary - Justise West is an amazing groundskeeper of Eureka Island. Not only is he the only groundskeeper of the school but he also takes care of cleaning the halls and the rooms of EA squeaky clean every day! It is unknown to all how he manages to work this hard but he is usually seen sweeping the floor of the great hall. Wherever he goes after is usually a mystery but to every student's surprise their restrooms, classrooms, and lounging areas on campus are always kept in tip top shape. Justise himself came from a family of butlers but left his family to pursue new opportunities elsewhere. It wasn't long before he found Eureka Academy and started working at the school for nearly 20 years! Justise is usually described to others as a bit of an awkward man. He is seen patrolling the grounds at night in the eerie darkness to catch students who aren't in their beds by curfew. While Justise may not be the most liked person at EA he is a big part of the schools everyday routine.

Meilach Fathowern
Status - Eureka Academy Staff
Occupation - Eureka Island Pilot
Appearance -
images

General Summary - Meilach is the most crucial part of Eureka Academy, yet the most unheard of person on campus! Only Milly and the Headmaster know of his whereabouts and his duty. Occasionally the headmaster can be seen talking to a microphone and speaking with him. In short Meilach is the pilot of Eureka island. In his own space of work down below the ground Meilach has all he needs to survive and pilot the direction of the large floating piece of land through enchantments and machinery invented by non other than himself. He has been around since the very creation of Eureka Academy and most likely knows more of the layout of Eureka Academy than anyone else! Meilach is a humble man. He rarely receives company and welcomes others to his cramped quarters when possible. He never ventures out onto the campus of Eureka where the students reside and it is mostly unknown to all where his own space is exactly. He has a extreme loyalty to the headmaster of Eureka Academy and will stubbornly not listen to orders from anyone but the headmaster.

Adelle Mason
Status - Eureka Academy Volunteer
Occupation - School Shop Sales
Appearance -
images

General Summary - Adelle is the peppy and often too talkative runner of the student store in Eureka academy. She is rarely seen anywhere else bu the store and mostly everyone wonders if she even has classes or can fight in battle at all! Though this is not challenged because she runs such a tight shift in the student store! Her goods are not only obtained with school funding but she also has access to many engineering companies and technologies from afar due to her family connections. She sells many things within the store including real estate in the school, school supplies, vehicles, gadgets, charms, almost anything a school of warriors could ever want. Adelle is not only peppy but she is purely dedicated, almost always selling and marketing her goods at school events, meal times, and even on missions! [Note that she is being used not only in the rp thread but in the EA store thread as well. ^^]

The Great Hall

TheGreatHall.png

This is where students like to gather, talk, and hang out. It serves as the entrance and exit to the school so a lot happens here. The Great hall serves as a meeting spot for teams on missions or for friends. Can’t find a friend? Try waiting at the Great Hall!

Other Locations

The school - 1st Floor

The Great Hall: This is where students like to gather, talk, and hang out. It serves as the entrance and exit to the school so a lot happens here. Can’t find a friend? Try waiting at the Great Hall! The mission bulletin can be found here as well as the school store and the ever tiring spiral staircase that gives access to upper levels. THis is a place that's most popular.

The Shop: The Shop is a student run store where all sorts of supplies are sold. The lovely Karen would love to sell all of the schools wares to you. Various things like Weapons, armor, tickets to school functions, can be purchased with candy, the school currency. The most coveted and expensive prizes in the school store range from vehicles and exotic pets to room upgrades.

Cafeteria: A place where all food is served. Students come here to get a quick meal or to play games. This is quite a lax area. There are rich wooden tables here and a five star buffet at the end of the large ceiling-ed room. Students may come and go as they please.

Courtyard: The courtyard is a place for students to relax and talk. Mostly couples come here for a romantic retreat. The courtyard contains a two story water fountain in it's dead center which most find relaxing. There are benches hedges and flowers of all kinds here. Most females like to catch the butterflies that litter the place and keep them as pets.

Auditorium: Students gather in the auditorium to watch a play or to hang out. This is a place buzzing with life. Anything from important announcements to musical acts are seen here. It's a fairly large space that is rarely used.

Parking lot: When a student reaches a certain rank, they are given a vehicle in which they can drive to other destinations. When given a vehicle you can park it here. It’s okay to drive other students around but mostly students won’t be leaving the campus anyway…

The school - Basement

Training center: The training center lies on the basement floor of the school. It takes up a lot of space and is wide and open. Anything you could possibly need, from fitness equipment to dummies, to computer generated cpus(To fight with) can be found here. This is a great place to raise rank.

The school - 2nd Floor

Infirmary: A place to go when you’re not feeling so well. The nurses and doctors at the infirmaries will have you feeling good as new in a jiffy!

The Library: The library holds vast knowledge and information about almost any and everything. It's a circular room and it's shelves reach all the way to it's domed ceiling. Books line the shelves in this tunnel of knowledge!

Classrooms: There are dozens upon dozens of classrooms here. These are used primarily for

The school - 3rd Floor

Ballroom: The Ballroom is used for formal functions of the school. Mostly for dances and parties for students. It's a wide open space with the best views of Eureka Island outside of it's window arches.

Arena: the arena is the place of action for the school! Student’s gather to view the daily battles there. Students can reserve the arena for battles and challenges for each other. Sometimes even school tournaments. The arena is set like a stadium and takes up the other half of the 3rd floor.

The school - 4th Floor Towers

West Tower - These are where the Magia Dorms for school mages are located. The West tower entrance here is exclusive to magia majors and contains all of the magica dorms. Teacher Residences - This section of the fifth floor castle has spacious rooms for the staff to reside in.

Disciplinary committee and Class rep Area - This is a large area with a large rectangular common room. The Disciplinary committee and the Student reps of each house major reside in dorms at each end of this space. It is well stocked with a small kitchen and lounge area for both groups to share.

The school - 6th Floor Tower

(New)North Tower - This tower was built after the older north tower. It raises higher and has excellent views of all of the island. At the bottom entrance is the entrance to the headmaster's quarters. The very top of this tower resides the student council dorms.

The Town - Just outside the Campus

Eureka town is small but it has a lot of activities planned! Sadly though only experienced students get to hang out here. The newer students are not permitted unless they are with an older student. New students are encouraged to get used to the academy before attempting to explore the town on their own. Only students with a rank of 20 and over may leave the school. Some of the stores require a certain level of rank in order for you to shop there.

Beach: The beach along the coast of the island is a beautiful place to have fun. It can also be a romantic scene as well. The beach is very fun in the summer and often there are a lot of parties held here.

Park: The park is a nice and quiet place littered with trees and greenery everywhere. It contains benches and a huge fountain in the center. It’s a very relaxing environment…

Eureka Square: The town square is full of bustling people. Here you can just sit back and watch the townspeople go about their daily business and enjoy a snack from the many of the food establishments.

Club Panda: A local woman named Mandi runs this club. It is a nice place to mingle and party when there’s nothing else to do. (must be 18 to drink alcohol. No smoking permitted…)

Areas of Study
What's your major?

Eureka Academy will feature 3 main areas of study for it's students. The area of study a student is interested in affects the house dorm he/she will belong to and the teaching courses they take. If they wish, students may request to partake in two areas of study at once. Below is a description of each Major/Area of Study for a warrior to choose from.

Magia House Major

This area of study deals with educational purposes having to do with magical properties. The students within this study learn about spells, enchantments, and charms. The course material is engineered to help students become an expert spell casters and professional mages. This area of study is mostly recommended for aspiring wizards, witches, and mages of all sorts!

Arma House Major

This area of study deals with educational purposes having to do with physical offense. The students within this study learn about close combat fighting styles, weaponry, and armor defenses. The course material is engineered to help students become powerful and nearly unbeatable warriors. This area of study is mostly recommended for aspiring offensive based soldiers of all types.

Dominus House Major

This area of study deals with educational purposes having to do with special abilities. The students within this study may not fit in properly into the other majors and learn how to hone their own special abilities. The course material is custom according to the students residing within it, helping them become expert warriors with their unique talents. This area is recommended for students who wish to further their own special powers or for undecided majors.

Optional Courses:

Tactics and Strategy - This class explores the tactical side of combat and teaches students how to pick their battles wisely.

Literature - This class explores basic literature and writings of he world. A well read mind makes a deadlier warrior.

During this reboot of the Eureka Academy rps many things have changed from the original to make the rp a less hassle free experience. With that said there may be a few things that new and old participants may be wondering. This section is to describe the basics of Eureka Academy Exitium so hopefully any questions shall hopefully be answered here!

Typical Day

A typical "Day" in EA consists of a large variety of activities. The roleplay will be broken up into "episodes" each lasting exactly 1 day. Students can spend time getting their character doing missions for the day or simply going to classes. A majority of students may choose to go on missions depending on their classes. A day at Eureka is definitely an exciting time!

Bio Template

Name: This space is reserved for your character's First, Middle(Optional), and Last name. If your character doesn't have a name and only has a title it should go here. If your character doesn't have a name or title give that character a name or title or use another character.

Age: The age of your character goes here. If your character looks much younger than he/she is please put range of looks(in human years) here. If your character is artificial(robot) this section is not required.

Title: The title of your status within the school of Eureka Academy. There can only be titles of Staff, Student Council, Disciplinary Committee, House Head(specifying which house in the area of study your character is in), and Student. If your character does not meet the requirements of his/her title(ex. a mage trying to become House head of the weapon and arms house) He/she will have their status reduced back to "student".

House Study: This refers to the curriculum of Eureka Academy. Whatever area of study you think your character will be in goes in this category. If your character is more of a mage warrior they will fit in the Magia House. If your character is a classic knight/martial artist type character they will belong in the Arma House. If your character's powers stem from both types of these they may choose to double major or choose the Dominus House in order to develop both abilities or their own unique abilities. Dominus House is also for those who cannot decide or whose powers do not fit in the typical "Mage" or "Knight" class of abilities.

Appearance: An image and a two paragraph(minimum) description on the looks of your character goes here. The image portion is optional of course but the text describing your character's looks is required. Keep in mind that two paragraphs are five sentences.

Personality: Take a couple paragraphs to describe your character's elaborate and complex personality. Just like above the minimum is two paragraphs.

Weapons: If your character carries or uses weapons please list them here. If they are made of a certain magical material or are enchanted please be sure to mention it here.

Skills/Abilities: This section is where you list a number of the skills and/or abilities your character possesses. The skills listed will be able to be unlocked with the gain of each star level(unlock new star levels by completing missions). The number of stars in a star level determines the number of skills a character can use. If a character has 4 stars in their star level out of 10 then that character can only use the skills listed in the #s 1-4 slots listed here. It is highly recommended to list your abilities in a balanced manner or from weakest to strongest. It is in that way that you can truly see your character grow and develop throughout Eureka Academy instead of being a powerhouse from the very beginning and getting bored. The skills that go in these slots include fighting techniques, spells, summon, psychic, any special power or physical ability your character uses in combat. If an ability is too powerful or has any chance of making a character invincible I will discuss the removal or revising of that ability.

1. Title of ability - Description of ability goes here.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

9.

10.

History: Take two paragraphs or more to describe your character's history. The more details to his/her past, the more fleshed out a character will become. Our goal is to role play with amazing characters to create a memorable story line for all ^^.

Badge Color: The color of your ID badge you want.
Badge Image(optional):

School Organizations

There are a large amount of school organizations throughout Eureka. Clubs can be started by any group of students consisting of 3 members. THe other organizations are determined before the school year begins.

Student Council
~ The student council are the managers of the students of Eureka Academy. These are students who have raised through the ranks in order to reach the top. They run anything associated with the students of EA and are students with a high authority. There are four titles within the SC. The Events and Planning SC member takes charge of all big social events that happen on campus. The Battle Strategies and tactics SC member takes charge of all missions and schedules new missions to add to the rosters daily. The Accountant SC member takes care of all budgets regarding students and makes sure to keep a count of all candi, star points, & rankings earned by each student! The SC head manages with public announcements and seeks council from the headmaster of EA himself.

Disciplinary Committee
~ The disciplinary committee exists within the academy to bring order to all chaos on campus. They are exceptionally powerful students who are to enforce the rules within the school and punish all rule breakers. They set the school rules for all students to follow and will surely be the ones who prefer to patrol on the night shifts in EA.

House Heads
~ House heads are the leaders of their house dorms. They are responsible for all students within their section. They are to lead their houses to greatness.

Missions & Badges

There are numerous missions to do each day in Eureka Academy. A student may choose to participate by reserving their slot for the missions a day before. Special missions purchased within the school store are missions relating directly to and around a specific student's story line/background. These missions can be bough with candi and serve to give students the opportunity to grow and develop their character.

Badges are worn around EA to notify each persons of who is who. They are to be worn on clothing at all times on and off of missions. Certain missions may only be granted to those of a certain type of badge.

Student Store & Locker Hall

The student store, located within the cafeteria is stocked with tons of goodies and is run by the store volunteer Karen. Any student can buy things from the store with candi received from missions and can view all of their purchases within their "student locker". The student store and locker will be set up within it's own thread. so students can come and go as they please.

On Authority and Power

There are often many who question the power and rankings of students and staff within the school. Luckily the following chart will show the authority and power staff and students share respectively.

Tier 1 -
Headmaster
The headmaster leads the school. He has authority over all within the grounds.

Tier 2 -
School Staff + Student Council
The School Staff and Student council hold the same authority over those below them. They are second in command and report only to the headmaster. The two groups cannot seek to overpower the other or control the other unless approved by the headmaster.

Tier 3 -
Disciplinary Committee + House heads
Disciplinary committee and House heads hold authority over all students. They work closely together and the Discom can hold authority over a house head if the house head possess crude behavior. The Discom and House Heads report to the Student council.

Tier 4 -
Students
The students hold no power over each other nor anyone else. If students have a personal issue or have ideas for the school they shall consult their head of house. If students want to report bullying they report directly to the Discom.
