I apologize to all of you fans if I push my faith on you too far

A lot of Brits do tend to find it irritating when people say 'could care less' as opposed to 'couldn't care less'.

I think, though I could be wrong, that Americans more often say 'could care less'. Though I have heard some British people say 'could care less' now as well.

See this:
(See from about 40 seconds in - I don't know how to set it so that it automatically plays at the right time rather than the beginning)

it makes no sense at all. it implies you could care less than you do, therefore you do care. i didn't know it was a common mistake for people to make, i just thought it was something stupid people did

It's actually extremely common. Especially for Americans. So excuse me for having heard it all my life and saying back what I heard.

I meant to say couldn't care less, but obviously I used it wrong. STOP THE PRESSES! SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET MADE A MISTAKE! For the love of god we must point this out!

Completely unnecessary, by the way.

And douchebags on the internet tend to be douchebags. Your quote was still unnecessary. There's not point in attacking another member of the forum for an extremely asinine reason.

So this whole discussion is about anime being a sin, or the poster having conflicting inner thoughts about anime and the possibility of it being a sin...

As an atheist my honest opinion is that, faith should not be imposed, nor should you try to influence the thoughts of others with it; it is out of faith and irrationality that the worst of assumptions and misconceptions of mankind have risen from.

Faith is baseless, irrational, asinine conviction that is backed up by zero empirical evidence. Things don't work like that in the real world, your computer, cellphones, cars don't thrive and function or even come to be based on faith. Neither do societies function on faith or religious morality (as some religious leaders will fool you to believe) rather they thrive on secular moral philosophy and legal theory. You should not worry yourself with the mindless self-inflicting and exhaustive notion that a perfectly healthy past time, such as anime, is a "sin". You should worry if you were an evil person deliberately inflicting pain on others, or causing mischief and hardships to your family and friends.

Besides, people that profess faith can categorize anything that they don't agree with as sin; not keeping the Sabbath is a sin, and in some religions, giving up your faith is a sin punishable by death (won't mention which).

So go on , do not let fallacious religious manipulation be a part of you, watch your anime and be an honest and good person not because of some old man in a cloud; love your fellow man and do good without needing a reward, through empathy and reason.

If Heaven is all nice and church-like, I think Hell is where you go to have fun.
