    There is bundles of charm and I loved some of the stories with the other party members - Especially that moment where Luccia sneaks out at night to meddle with her own past. But the Silent Protagonist was too much of a hindrance for me to drop it from a ALL-TIME Great to Good/Very Good for me.

    :lew: Lol! Yeah, I can absolutely understand why that moment broke it for you! I'm glad you gave it a chance at least, and I hope you don't regret playing it! I guess I haven't played many games where there is a silent protagonist so I suppose I never really thought about it too much.

    I've never talked to anyone who took issue with it either until now, so it's interesting to hear your perspective too! You'll have to rank your most annoying silent protagonists for us some day 😂 Your angry tangents always give me a good laugh when you post them!

    Actually, I am going to be starting that next week! I've had 3 Months of Xbox Game Pass to plow through recently and have already tested the game on my PC so I shall let you knw how I get on! I see there is a physical Edition of Chrono Cross on the Switch - REALLY hoping thye put it on PS4 too, we never got CC or CT here, apart from the DS version of CT... Which is good bu I want to play it on the BIG screen! :yay:

    Whaaaat! And I was looking forward to bothering you yearly to play it! :lew: I hope you like it though! Haven't decided if I want the physical of CC or not but I'm really glad they made one! They definitely deserve to be played on the BIG screen!

    I did reluctantly buy into the Switch version - If it is the only Physical Version I can get I will take it but as soon as I hear of a PS4 version I will be selling it in a heartbeat! But yes looking forward to playing CT - I've only ever played the beginning portion of the game at the fairground. If I can get past the silent protagonist I'm sure I will love it :)

    Hi! I'm still about! I've just been super indulgent with my PS5 lately! (So many PS4 games I still have to play on it :P) My Final Fantasy VIII Stream was put on pause due to the lack of a PS4 controller. But I have recently been tinkering with my PC using my PS Classic controller, so if I can get that to work with Steam I'll be sure to continue it! Hope you're well during the holiday season!

    Haha It's on the backlog for certain! But I still do think the Silent Protagonist issue is what's holding me back. That and within a month the PS4 is getting Persona 5 Royal (Another series I struggle with due to the same issue), FF7 Remake, Resident Evil 3 & Trials of Mana....Oh & I'm still playing throuhg the Yakuza series :P
