As the title says, are there any locations that really stand out to you and you enjoyed the most?

While there's plenty to say about many locations, mine must be Doeznov terraces in Dhalmekia.

*Spoilers are just because quest titles, etc, are visible on the screen.

As a limestone springs spa Doeznov is a dead ringer for Hierapolis/Pamukkale/Denizli in modern-day Turkey and its limestone spring terraces that were used as a spa since ancient times, only in the game it is surrounded by a full-on desert. There's a mixture of middle eastern, north African and Turkish inspirations in FFXVI's Dhalmekia as a whole to be sure, with a Greek flourish at times (not limited to the presence of Titan).

The similarity struck me immediately.

While only a smallish area, I think it adds a lot to the surrounding area and is a point of beauty inspired by natural wonders without needing a ridiculous-sized crystal on the horizon.

What about yourselves? Did any locations stand out for you? Please place any significant plot spoilers in spoiler tags.

Finished the game and honestly, it's a tie between Royal Meadows and Martha's Rest.

Royal Meadows for its open space and nice atmosphere + easy run during my first playthrough.

Martha's Rest bc I liked how "homely" it felt (if that makes sense) and how I p much just did all the side quests in that area first.
Dhalmekia was p nice too but I just didn't like their quests that much. Could see why others loved it.

Hello there:-):-)

Valisthea is undoubtedly my favorite location in Final Fantasy XVI. The atmosphere there is wonderful, and the degree of detail makes it feel completely immersive. It's a destination that remains out for me, whether it's because of the beautiful surroundings or the unique architecture.
