I need to finish Tales of Vesperia too. I don't think I've ever finished a single game for 360 now that I think about it.
Yeah, A Thousand Years of Dreams had that really unique ability to make you envision the scenes in your mind. The beautifully haunting melodies and sound effects were perfect.
POW camp - I don't remember that one. Was that when he was in prison and it was pitch black? I haven't seen all the 'dreams' and speaking about it now makes me want to play again. I really liked "A Hero's Return" (the bar scene) - that gave me goosebumps, "White Flowers", and "Hanna's Departure".
And when Kaim finally saw his daughter, in bed, with her kids...wow. I watched that scene a few times and each time, it never failed to tug at the heartstrings. I've never came across a tearjerker and emotionally powerful scene in any games until that.
And my favorite soundtrack is Neverending Journey.
You mentioned Lost Odyssey in one of your posts. Great game, actually the very first game that made me tear up a bit.
...Okay, a lot.
A Thousand Years of Dreams is probably what caught my attention the most. I enjoyed reading every single one, and even now a few of the short stories I read still sticks to mind. I should finish this game, but my 360 is acting up a bit.
