I can't get out of the feywood, and the stupid riddle about reality and illusion just isn't helping. I keep coming back to that same spot and seeing the same riddle. Hints appreciated, thanks.
WOW, thanks for the map tip!!! I am *only* about 50 hours into the game.... *sigh*
I think my most embarrassing moment, though, has to be trying and trying to fight the 1st demon wall, going away, leveling up, coming back and STILL trying to kill the first demon wall, leveling up some more...
OK I got through w/out a walkthrough; just finally figured it out. I don't think my map was complete when I was getting confused. Now I'd like to know, what level do you need to be at to defeat Cid? I'm at 46 and have had no probls with any other foe in the place, but Cid seems impossible. Thanks!!
Well, they don't do their deathblow if they or you get KOd. They also don't do it if the monster is killed while they're still attacking. They only do it if they're hitting the monster and they have to go / time's up.
Oh I had no problem at all with the guards, or any of the sideroom monsters for that matter, I'm like lvl 46 or something; what I had problems with was the
RED DOOR BLUE DOOR
dilemma...... *sigh* I was hoping someone had a walkthrough....
It's definitely worth it. Particularly if you disliked the X and X-2 versions that were so futuristic, and wanted a return to more classic gameplay. I thought there were a few good sidequests (what do you call the HUNTS, for goodness' sake?) but I agree with JC that renting may be a good option...
Well, Vivi isn't Heartless, but many of the black mages "appropriated" from his village in FF9 were like that, automatons who couldn't control what they were doing. So I figured the Heartless in KH (1&2) were based on the black mages. When Vivi showed up in KH 2 I figured it was just another...
You should be able to see, at the vendors', what kind of stats each piece of equipment will give your guys.
A recommendation to everyone: stay AWAY from mirror mail if you use magic healing in your gamibts. You will only wind up taking off the mail every time you want to heal because it...
ROFL! Separated at birth........?
Anyway, yeah, there was nearly NO character development in this game so the characters all suck. Of the main ones I like Balthier because his "Heads Up" yell when he does his Water Summoning makes me laugh, and because he used to be a judge but turned away...
I personally still like 9 better because of the character development. I didn't "care" about any of the characters in this one--but other than that, it takes a close second! It's one of the best games I've played, ranking up there with KotOR, Morrowind, other good Final Fantasies, etc. VERY...
I voted Marcus/Cinna/Blank. I mean, what's the point?
I actually liked Quina. If you had him "eat" your enemies, he learned their magic every time. He actually became a vital and strong member of my team.
One of the hunts involves the "Tracks of the Beast" in the Giza Plains during the rains. I have never seen any area by this name. Is there some trick to this hunt?
