I can't remember, but I think this took out Ultima Weapon for me. All considering that I was just BSing in that battle and didn't expect to win at all.
Waste of GP.
You will need many more of them before you take on the next(and easiest to get) nut. So stick to stealing them. You can also morph them into elixirs.
His grid is in the best location. He could be either of the "classes" the other players represent without having to travel extremely far to get to them(which requires a lot of fighting). I used him a lot.
As long as no one swings, there is room for reasoning. That's how it normally works with close friends. Nevermind any pushing shoving, etc, as long no arms go flying.
Maxed gil, all chocobo's breed that I could possibly fit in the stables. Learned everyone's level 3 limites before leaving midgar, beat all weapons, and solo'd Safer Sephiroth with Cloud(killing off the other two on purpose). Maxed out Cloud's str and vit stat. It got to a point where I didn't...
When I played it and finished it for the 30th time. Trying new things like killing off two players and soloing Safer Sephiroth, as well as seeing how far I can go without leveling too high.
Until they run away.
Fighting the orange balls is a lot easier and give way more experience and AP. As for the training spot, yea just the X-Soldier guards and some other monsters. 3500xp I think.
I didnt see AC.. my personal opinion of both is, President Shinra more than likely would have played the villian much better than Rufus. For some reason I liked Rufus' attitude and his whole "New Age" agenda, it was quite ashame that he was killed. I think in the end it was no longer about mako...
I found that going into the Den of Woe was the highlight of the game. "The pyreflies make me relive that moment over and over again.." I think I never passed that part as Nooj kicked my ass.
I gave Jenova an asskicking in the worse possible way. Back to back to back to back Comet. What else was I supposed to do? Cry? She was the closest thing to a dedicated healer in FF7 and I had plans for her but that got interrupted.
Not it's not a hate thread.
Just telling the truth ;p.
It's so easy that you don't need a full party to beat the final boss. No - infact you can solo the game with one dressphere. It sounds crazy, but from the moment I obtained the Floral Fallal dressphere, I never went back to standard 3...
I know this topic is very old but this is the one reason why I liked playing the FF games so far. You are given a lot of control over your characters growth. From how fast they gain exp, to how high or low you want a certain stat to be. FF7 has did this a great justice and FF8 furthers this...
My vote is biased but I don't care. It's Quistis. I haven't seen any game girl who looks hotter than her yet. Using her in party can be a pain but I stuck to my Quistis fanboyism. Her player card is always the first one I go after and I don't progress until I get it.
I found this forum through a link elsewhere. I am not a big fan of FF anymore, but just enough to still want to discuss about it's games. My favorite among the series is a tie between FF8 and FFX-2. I primarily play RPGs, FPS, and games setup like Dynasty Warriors.
