i figured out to max stats and hp to use the stones(preferably the higher one like hero drink, adamantite, dark matter, mythril...they give you better boosts usually and don't have any other use except to help boost your materia where an elixir has the benefit of healing all your hp/mp/ap

Phoenix and final attack were always a must for me...all so KOTR with a mp absorb and the other 2 chars with mime and mp absorb if i remember correctly were always good...Damn it is has been so long maybe i should go back and look at it again

i got the same thing that is why i went into the game play...I think you need to get a program so your computer can understand it but i am not sure...well i guess to make it easier just do it in English but use some very Vincetey font.
