Wait a minute- the debate topic was mine and I didn't even get in!!! hahaha. I typically only have time to check this site once a day in the evening so I think there should be a window of response time (allows those with busier schedules to still be included).
Also instead of a true word...
I am down with this, it can't hurt to try this format.
For a more "fun" topic why not just dive right in (and I know some of these are lame)-
"Which is a better game FF7 or FFX?"
"Which is the best final fantasy?"
"Who is the greatest hero in ff?"
I know a few of the older Final Fantasy games have been released on PSN- so those with ps3's can play them without trying to find the original discs.
Does anyone know if the first 2 Star Oceans might be?
I know they came out for psp- does it take that much work to convert that over for the...
If what we are talking about is subbosses who are significant in terms of storyline randomly then
4 has Calcabrina
5 i has Gogo
6 has Ultros
7 has Hojo
8 has Norg
9 has Necron
10 has Chocobo eater
12 has Venat (the immortal thing that joins with Vayne).
Almost all of them have what I call...
This game looks terrible.

Watch the one-liners.
No offense to the moderators but did you see the 2 posts previous to mine? or the one on the next page that consist of 1-liners?
I played both on PC when they came out (didn't have PS) and there wasn't really anything wrong with them. Infact 8 was better on PC because you had the mini-game which enabled you to get some pretty cool stuff.
I recently replayed 8 on PC, and did not have any problems doing so- although you...
Actually it turns out in things like personality (or likes & dislikes): the older you get the more genetically related traits tend to be. That is during teen/young adult hood things are much more environmentally influenced. Also the evidence is pretty conclusive (see provided links).
For the...
Just because children aren't raised in a vacuum doesn't mean you can't estimate the impact of the environment. For example, identical twins (monozygotic) share 100% of their genes & their birth environment (in utero); you can look at identical twins who were raised in different environments and...
Incase you are actually interested in the science of this, and not just what you think goes on or your own anecdotes there is a book by Judith Rich Harris (who at first I thought a few had mentioned) called "The Nuture Assumption: Why children turn out the way they do"
Which discusses this...
The only thing that I am not looking forward too is the characters. I wish Lightening was back- as she was the best character in 13. Sera is not really an intriguing character nor does she seem like she would break a nail to fight. Also I thought they were done with male "tough" guys who look...
You can actually "dream" during stage 4. Often though these dreams are typically "nightmares." Their is a tendency for people who constantly wake from stage 4 sleep to have what is called night terrors.
Take a neuroscience class- and learn about it. It is not like your "awareness" time is finite that needs to be divvied up. And your not paying attention has nothing to with your dreaming, which is really just whether you remember dreaming or not b/c everybody does it. It could be that you aren't...
Thanks a lot Cid- I appreciate that, I hope it gives us players more control over how characters develop and if we can shape their playing style.
HAHAHAHAHA. You can quote IceT- "eat a hot bowl of dicks."
The game wasn't flawed for being story driven (I am pretty sure I would say all FF's...
