I don't think the characters designs would need to be changed to fit in with the backgrounds. The backgrounds are still the same style they always were, just more detailed, and I'm guessing if a remaster ever went ahead the characters would stay the same style too, just more detailed the same as...
Yup this is right. It goes like this:
One Basalisk:
common drop: 1 ability sphere
rare drop: 2 ability spheres
when you overkill an enemy you get twice as many items, so that would be 2 ability spheres if you get the common drop or 4 if you get the rare drop.
So if you overkill two Basilisks...
FFXs ending. I know X-2 can make things happier, but X on its own is such a tragic story and I can't watch the ending without tearing up. I remember the first time I played it I was in denial, like this can't honestly be happening and then it did and I cried :(
I think Raine's death in FFVIII...
Yes but I mean what the art style was in IX doesn't matter in Dissidia because all the characters were restyled so they'd have the same style. So no matter his height Zidane wouldn't have looked like he did in IX because he was restyled to fit Dissidia.
I see what you mean, but that was because of the art style in IX, Dissidia had a different art style and all the characters were redesigned so they all looked more similar. So I don't think it would have been a problem to have him keep his height the same as it was in IX considering they already...
I don't see how. 173cm is about 5'8 which isn't that tall. Squall and Tidus are both 5'9 so if Zidane had been the height he was meant to be he'd have been about the same as them.
I thought the upgrades to X-2 were really good. I wish there'd been more trophies for the Monster Arena / Creature Capture than there were. I wasn't sure about it before I played but it's actually really fun, and you can get some of the best items in the game quite early. Also, some of the...
I already had pretty much everything in X but thankfully I really liked the updated graphics. To begin with the eyes seemed a bit strange but after a while I didn't notice at all. I liked the additions in X-2, I thought the new dresspheres had their uses just like many of the others, neither...
Hmm, it's hard to say. Yeah I probably would if it was the main characters I didn't like. A big part of enjoying a game for me is getting attached to the characters and caring how their story ends up. Without that it'd feel a lot more pointless.
Okay, so I'm playing Last Mission now and I've encountered a problem. In order to open the elevator I need to pass my turn a number of times. All the guides say that select and x passes your turn but it's not working for me at all. I have no idea what to do. Is anyone else playing Last Mission...
The first time I played the game I never really bothered switching roles in battle unless it was during a boss battle really. Because there's 7 characters though it does mean that there's no equal split, but I tend not to use Kimahri anyway since he's basically fodder in my mind lol
I was the same, I knew once I saw the ending of the game I'd want to go straight onto X-2. So I didn't finish the game till I'd done all the side quests. I didn't have much of a choice though, because I never really return to games to finish side quests, so it was either do them before the...
Getting the Sphere Grid trophy isn't so much effort as it is time. It's not really hard to do. In the beginning, yes some of the monster arena fiends are quite challenging but once you start maxing stats things become easier. It just takes a long time. If you're going for the Penance and Dark...
Yes you can go back and do sidequests as much as you want right up until you get to the final bosses. There's a save sphere before that and you can use it to return to the airship and travel round Spira. You could enter and see how you fare against the enemies, but the battles inside Sin are...
You get it after fighting the Dark Elemental (Kinoc) in the Via Infinito. It's just called SOS???? now, I can't remember what it was called in the initial version. Sucks though, with the way it is now you can't use it to combine the gunner's trigger happy which was one thing that made the end...
Oh man! They've ruined the Cat Nip accessory (the one that deals 9999 when you're low on hp)! It now comes along with slow and berserk so there's no way to control said character, so it's basically useless. No more trigger happy 13x9999. These bosses in the Via Infinito are going to be so much...
Yeah that's true, but Valefor will probably be the first Dark Aeon you defeat :) and to be honest I rarely used Auron's final limit, Wakka's Attack Reels and Tidus' Blitz Ace are a lot better for maximum damage.
