I think it is too late for "applications", right? I am in dire need of practice and thought this to be a nice place to start (especially considering the success of its previous academy).
If I can still enter (albeit severely disoriented) then here's the profile I'll use...
In the meantime, where will be the starting point for the RP? Will it be a village, a forest, or perhaps some kind of unique environment?
We need to be careful with this to make sure we are all on the same "wavelength". Like it would be weird if I meet a character and then describe a forest...
Wait till you get Diabolos (Diablos...whatever). If I recall correctly, he had this "Mug" command which allowed you to farm items from enemies. Increase your speed to increase the chances of a successful steal.
You should unlock most of the optional items and sidequests prior to venturing into...
Honestly, as you noted since the monsters level up with you it matters very little. What's important in this game is to get strong magic to junction it and boost your stats. That's what I did on my second play through. I suggest keeping a save file before the huge jump to Section 4 (Disc 4)...
I like to consider my character a "freelance". I'll make him shift sides in the RP and depending how the RP unfolds, he could either stick to one side permanently or to the other.
I need to get on this, though my online time can be somewhat limited. Depends on my professors and if their mood makes them give me more homework. :hmph:
I think I'll use my character Cairn for this one, if I can find him. :P
EDIT: Found him!
Name: Cairn Crey Rosencrant Valthere
Title: The...

Not sure about the crystal theme, since it was already used in FFXIII recently, actually the crystal theme is recurrent in most of the Final Fantasy games.
Suggestion:
Read some ancient mythology. Most games nowadays are loosely based on elements taken from these myths (take FFXII for example). Try not to fall under the same hero-stereotype (no Cloud, no Zack please). Decide on a general theme then subdivide it into the subjects you want to touch...
God I think I'm getting my hands on a PSP now. I have my PS3 dying in a mountain of dust because I rarely spend time at home. But Martel is right, we shouldn't be needing to buy stuff that should have been included in the core game anyhow. :hmph:
My condolences for your loss. That's how the ball rolls. Life is short, hell sometimes it is even shorter for people in the military, doctors, and police officers, and sometimes we waste it on trivial stuff.
I won't say "God took her..." because that would be like saying that "God wanted a...
