^ If you were plunged into a completely different world where everything you knew was turned up on its head, you'd not have a clue what was going on either. And it's not really fair comment to say it's obvious that Yuna had to die to beat Sin -you'd probably assume all those Aeons she's getting...
So long as the enemy has enough HP to toy with, I'll whip out the Magus Sisters for some joys. It's a shame they're generally unreliable for a solid performance and damage output, but it's kind of fun watching them make their own decisions. In a more serious mind-set, it'll be Anima for her...
Much like yourself I have a thing for leaving my favourites until last. Those in the upper echelons are always on the latter side of the line (for the build-up, I guess), but my favourite is always last if she's strong enough.
More often than not, said favourite is Shiva. I love her...
You should focus on mastering as many of the useful dresspheres as possible. The likes of Trainer can be neglected for the most part, whereas the likes of White/Black Mage and Dark Knight would benefit you greatly in the long-run. Try mastering a small number firstly so that you at least have...
I was indifferent towards Vivi for a good portion of the game. Although visually he's the ideal mage (albeit quite cute), his MP was balls for a majority of the game until you get the Half MP ability. A couple of -aga spells would set you up for needing an Ether (which admittedly I'm quite...
I had pondered we'd have to fight her when first playing through it. Finding her on her back after being shot in the face by Bahamut was a little disappointing.
Giving it some thought now, I think she could have just summoned her Eidolons into the fray, or have artillery facing your party...
If you got the original version, you'll be itching to buy Special Edition after (or even before) completing it. Being able to play as Vergil is a hugely rewarding experience - especially so if you've already played DMC1.
Vergil is probably a little overpowered in comparison to Dante but lacks...
I enjoyed watching Freaky Friday for the first (and currently only) time.
I'm now a WoW-fag.
I can't stand Sazh.
I don't talk about myself to others much for a reason.
SabrielLOL
etc etc
I found it greatly advantageous to have a Saboteur on hand - in my case this was Fang. While I was healing up she'd remove Haste/Faith and whatnot, then I dive in with two Ravagers and a Commander until healing or de/rebuffing was required again.
If you use Sazh, make use of Haste on your...
Although your question has effectively been answered, I'm going to throw my something-something your way because I'm a bit of a X-toff.
Seymour attacks, as said, in a pre-determined sequence, meaning he'll use specific elements in a certain order. Highlighting him when selecting an opponent...
Casting Haste and Cheer will be useful, though you really shouldn't be losing to this kind of boss; a couple of regular hits should cancel out its Depth Charges, and its normal attacks aren't anything to write home about.
Basically, you're underpowered. I strongly recommend spending anywhere...
Did anyone else crack their knuckles when they read the thread title? :wacky:
I crack them every so often, though I used to do it way more back in high school. I got the whole speech about arthritis too but even then, it didn't perturb or even slow me down. Now that I'm a bit older and...
I suppose the best way to really convey the messages is through the medium of... YouTube! This walkthrough seems decent enough, so try spotting the bloodstone locations and replicate this on your own file.

Looking at what Madain's Ring offers you, it's really not worth putting yourself through potentially hours of gruelling *ting ting ting*ing. I learned this the hard way during one of my first playthroughs, and what a lesson learned. :hmph: I'd not even look twice at this area if it didn't...
There's about 6 I think. They're really hard to miss; just light up all of the candles and you can't go wrong. The only one you might miss is the one where you make that stairway of light - you have to light all the candles to get the bloodstones.
