Time for retirement:
Assassin's Creed
I don't think there's any need to argue too much for this one. Pretty much everyone else has said what there is to be said about this already :P
Mass Effect
The Mass Effect series are some of my favourite games of all times, and I totally understand...
I think a game is overrated when the fan base starts attributing qualities to it that simply don't hold up in reality. For example if people were to praise Dragon Age: Origins for having a highly unique storyline and setting (the storyline and setting of Dragon Age: Origins is for all intents...
Cigarettes. Since last weekend though, I haven't touched them. It's funny though, the nicotine craving pretty much passed after the first 24 hours without smoking. What I am really addicted to, and what I find really hard to quit, is the ritual. It just becomes force of habit and daily routine...
Trance in Final Fantasy IX when it happens just when you are about to deliver the killing blow to some trivial enemy and just before a tough fight where you could have actually put it to good use.
I think as long as both parties are of legal age and love one another, the age disparity shouldn't be an issue to anyone else if it isn't an issue to the couple themselves. I do think it is important to be mindful of the age disparity though, and remember that the other party is probably at a...
That game was so incredibly moving. I've never full on broken down over a video game, but I am a bit of a softie when it comes to these kinds of things and To the Moon did indeed make me shed a tear. Especially the part where . To me that was an immensely powerful scene.
Final Fantasy II for me. The whole activity-based progression thing where you have to do something to level up in that thing, was just awkward and made the game unnecessarily confusing at times. There has been a lot of not so great elements in the combat/progression systems of a lot of Final...
Without any problem at all. It's been more than 2 years since we split and everything that's happened between us, the good and the bad, is water under the bridge now. We don't hang out or anything, nor are we BFF or anything like that, but when we do talk on occasion, it is always civil and...
Also currently playing this for what will be my third play-through. First time was on Xbox 360, but before Mass Effect 3 came out, I had changed format to PC and started over from the first one to have a save game ready for the release of ME3. The first play-through on PC was more or less a...
The Walking Dead
I got this a while back when it was part of the Weekly Humble Bundle deal and whipped through it in a manner of days. Gameplay-wise it was a pretty straight forward mix of very easy point and click adventure and some frantic quick time events. Not really difficult at all, but...
War of the Roses: Kingmaker
I have been oggling this and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare with mild interest for quite some time. Now this one was 75% off on Steam, so I figured now was as good a time as any to check it out.
Haven't played it, but from your description it sounds pretty interesting. I will download it and give it a crack tomorrow and share my opinion then :)
Was the PS4 really all that impressive or does it just seem that way because the benchmark for comparison is the Xbox One which has some features that are almost pornographically ridiculous? My money is on the latter. There really wasn't anything about that reveal that made me go "wow" other...
Totally unimportant if you ask me. If you go back to the days before the PS3 and the 360, then yes, you could definitely make an argument for the importance of exclusive titles. Back then each console had a distinctive selection of games you weren't likely to see on any other platform. Today...
Wasn't really excited about it 7 years ago, and I am less excited about it now than I was then. Chalk this up as yet another installment of the numbered Final Fantasies I don't give a shit about. Honestly, when was it ever a good sign that something was stuck in development hell for so long that...
I think it's probably easier to state what I don't play: I don't play sports games and I don't play military shooters and MOBA games. Anything else I will play if the gameplay is good and/or it has an interesting storyline. I've always had a weakness for RPGs though.
I'll join up! Big fan of the show and the 3 first books, avid poster at www.iswintercoming.com, and fervently hoping that the show won't tank the way the series did.
Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes
I probably should have waited till I get paid, but it was 50% off because I already own Elemental: Fallen Enchantress, so what the hell right? Who needs food anyway...
