You can expect to see tons of expos at this year's E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Square Enix will also be attending this year. A new FF game will be revealed for PS4. You can get ahead of the game by reserving your hotel now. The E3 2013 will be taking place June 11 - 13 for those who want to attend. Travel rates will vary depending on which travel method that you decide to take. There are available travel discounts for this year's E3. Codes are provided in the link below with the necessary information. You'll have to call the airlines with the information. There will be an E3 official hotel room block. Special shuttle bus service to the convention center will be provided to those with hotel reservations. Wristbands will be given at the hotel desk to receive the free service.

Have you SEEN some of these prices?

I won't be going to E3- at least until after Uni. The prices of air travel, living expenses and so forth is just too much.

I would love to go though... Would be awesome.:lew:

Same. I would love to go to one of these eventually..... At some point in life. But right now, we can't afford to go all the way across the damn country. The same reason we won't be going to a Summerslam anytime soon. Anyway, my hotel room is actually my room and my front row seats are the same price as our cable bill. XD Sounds like E3 would be fun to go to though.

Hate to break it to you all, but you can't just go to E3. You have to be able to present "direct and current professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry" to attend. Even I can't go, despite the fact that I am affiliated with the interactive entertainment industry--I just don't make enough money off of my involvement for it to be considered 'professional'. Of course I would love to make it one day, though...

That's a discussion between you and your employer. A signed business letter should do. E3 is a professional trade convention. It won't be open to the general public. If you work in the retail side of your company, you'd need to show that you are a representative for the company's purchasing. The deadline for the Industry Pass was April 29, so you wouldn't be able to get the free pass anyway. The Expo Pass increased after April 29 going from $795 to $995. The registration to be an attendee is still open. Your badge won't be mailed to you. You pick up your badge at the convention center with a photo ID.

Trouble is, I am my employer. Well, not really, but as far as my involvement with the electronic entertainment industry goes, I'm at the top and bottom of the chain. I run a website, and I frequently work with companies that come to me with products and services to review--sometimes being or involving games--but (at least for now) I can't sustain myself on it, and that means I'm not registered in any form as a business owner. I know people just a notch ahead of me in this game that have been able to go to E3 though, so I'm hopeful.

Anyway, that's quite a pity.

I guess I'm the idiot who believed it was open to all.

Still, it would be fantastic to be able to go.
