With only two weeks until its release in North America, we finally have a look at Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy with English voice acting. Almost all the newcomers have a line in this trailer.

Aww no Gilgamesh. I guess we’ll have to wait to see if Square Enix got the voice actor from Final Fantasy XII, the only game where the multi-armed villain was voiced, to reprise his role.

The video was high on action and gave us a tour of the RPG-like world map in different locales. If you haven’t been following Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy the PSP prequel has an assist system (that’s why four characters are on the screen at the same time) and a Mognet connected quest maker.

Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy is slated for release on March 22 in North America.

Well. That trailer was pretty generous on gameplay clips in comparison with previous trailers, and lemme say, they done a good job of selling it there. That said, that's the first time I've seen both fighters with their assists on stage at the same time.

Not long noooow.

Nice thanks for the awesome video it does suck that Gilgamesh wasent shown but oh well i wanna be surprised..

Im not really impressed with Lagunas VA I always thought he'd sound different but oh well XD looking forward to prologus now

I'm really not impressed with Tifa's voice despite having only heard three words come out of her. It just sounded so poorly delivered to me and a really weak voice in general. Other than that, no one's voice really makes me shudder. I actually don't mind Yuna's new voice (I presume it is, it doesn't sound very much like her in FFX and FFX-2 anyhow).

And damn the no-Gilgamesh show. I also demand a cameo of Ultros in there somewhere even though I probably won't ever play this game. :mokken:

Actually after rewatching you see a glimpse of Gilgamesh you see him after Garland says this is the end for the warriors of Cosmos, the person useing the tornado attack if you look at the battle picture its gilgamesh's 3rd costume the armor thing

Eh the voice acting is alright. Yuna is the same voice actress but she did sound a little bit different. Tifa's voice made me shudder however. She sounded like some...kid. Dissapointed in the lack of Gilgamesh VA but we will likely find that out soon anyway. The world map is so much better than the first one and I think that is the main thing I wanted in Dissidia all along.

This... Looks... AWESOME. I can't wait, I miss all the fighting I used to do in Dissidia, to be able to do it again (with new a new plot) will just be awesome. Voice acting is a little... off though. Some, not all, I mean.

I just watched it. Can't comment on the voice acting because I watched it without sound. It looks even better than the first one though.

Acting isn't that bad and the Japanese acting is so great either (especially Laguna and Lightning's acting). :/ Though I must say the narrator's voice is incredibly bad.

I'm wanted to laugh when I heard poor Laguna's voice. Its horrible, doesn't even match him. Terra and Onion Knight (unless I missed him?) were the only ones to not make an appearance in the trailer. Oh well, I suppose its smart to not advertise lies xD

Aww see I thought the narrator's voice was awesome. Though I agree with Fleur, Tifa sounded waaaay off after hearing her in Advent Children. Laguna and Vaan were both what I expected.

The game looks awesome...but honestly, I don't know that there's enough there to warrant a purchase. Maybe when it gets discounted, I already have Dissidia so I don't feel the need to play it over again with added characters. And I know that I'm not giving it enough credit because they made more changes than that, but it just doesn't feel right spending 40 dollars on it.

His voice is fine, I suppose. But his acting needs work. Or so I thought xD

You probably wouldn't feel right after you bought it anyway, even if you decided to shell out the 50 dollars to get it just for completion (or some other reason...?). If you liked any of the characters in the previous title, they basically aren't in this one. The only way you can play as those characters, is online or 1v1 against the computer :(

But, I have to say it. Its incredibly fun and has been updated so much its different yet it isn't. Everything works better, characters, abilities, moving, jumping, flying, sliding on the green bar-things. Its worth it to buy at least for the gameplay and some of the new characters...
