100% game

Anyone else trying to do one?

I am currently 220 hours in and the only things I get left in the game to do are:

Kill Yizzie and Omega
Get the Wrymhero Blade
Level everyone upto 99 - they are all currently at level 83 now


Thats it, I've done everything else in the game

I am currently trying to level upto 90 before I take on Omega and Yizzie, though leveling up is like really boring.

Its like taking me forever just to gain a level up, even if I am using good training places like the Great Crystal or the Subterra.

Anyone know of any other better level spots than those?

Thing is, once you get to such a high level, it is really hard to train. Atm, I've just got Hunts to do, before moving onto the Pharos. I aim to do everything I can do, but I have no idea how I am going to tackle Yiazmat

i got wyrmhero at 120hrs and im lvl 82 but i was 79 or sommit like dat when i killed em you can save in between da battle wid yizzie and omega ain't 2 hard wid reverse so its pretty ez i got tournosoul and all da oder bst stuff 2

I wasn't really training as such until I hit around level 75.

Was too way busy before that aiming for a 100% game like:

Killing all the marks and other optional bosses- besides Yizzie and Omega of course
Nabbing all the espers
Getting all the ultimate weapons and armour - things like the Danjuro, Grand Helm, Tournesol, Sagittarius, etc
Beat all 100 Tiers of the foot race at Balfonhiem
Every other sidequest done
Fishing minigame completed
Getting most of the Sky Pirates Den figurines - the onlys left for me to get are the Bagamman and Yizzie figurines, I have all the others
Filling in my bestiary - that means no more want number next to the monsters name
Killing all the rare game and trophy monsters.

So yeah I had loads to do before I hit level 75, but after that I had found nothing left to do but grind now.

I'm trying to do a 100% game, which is going ok so far, although I AM only upto BAlfonheim, Im supposed to be off to the feywood but I spent the last few hours fishing >_>

Not sure how I'l do, because there is just far too much, I don't think i'l manage to get all the best equipment or do that gay race thingy. it's next on my to do list...but I just cba at all with getting finger cramp

The intention to do all this is there though

I'm about 130-some in and have Yiazmat almost the whole way down, and Omega left to defeat. I still need some characters leveled up pretty far. My main guys are at the high 80's early 90's, but the rest of the girls are around 40-50.

Don't forget about completing the bestiary and the Rare Game creatures too.

I'd say I'm pretty close to 100%. >_> I'm in like 135 hours.

I've done Yazzi, got all espers, nearly every Sky Pirates Den thing, all hunts, nearly completed the Beast Diary. D=

I've given up in doing things like this unless there's a substantial reward at the end of it - in X-2, for example, you're treated to a nice little scene after the credits, making the 100% somewhat more worth the effort. In other games, you often only receive something in your key items, which you can't even view, so it's never worth meeting the requirements to get it. XII was no different, for me - I gave up at Yiazmat because I was wasting so many hours on him for the chance at obtaining a blade that would then be obsolete afterwards (why have a weapon as a reward for defeating the strongest opponent in the game? =/).

it gets pretty boring getting 100% since you have to defeat all hunts, espers, rare games plus collect all weapons. I clocked around 365 hours.

400 hours in and haven't even gotten Excalibur
Besides that just need to kill the Mandragoras 15 more times and get all the rarre equipment and rare game.

Besides that, have you killed Omega and the Hell Wyrm too?

Beaten all other optional bosses?

Complete the license board and level everyone upto level 99?

Unlocked all the fishing game areas and beaten them?

Completed all 100 foot race tiers at Balfonheim?

Done Bestiary 100% - that is no more want number next to the monsters name? Including killing every rare game and rare trophy monster.

Gotten all ultimate weapons and armour? Here is a list of all ulitmate weapons and armour by the way:

These weapons and equipment are without doubt the strongest items in the game in thier respective classes and thats why they are considered to be Ultimate weapons/equipment.

Though getting some of them are a real pain in the ass though. XP

I've come to the conclusion that I won't be getting a 100% game, it's not worth it. This is probably the only FF Ive decided to give up on. I'l always go back and at lerast try. But some of the shit yu are expeed to do in order to get '100%' on this is ridiculous.

I'l be damned if Im circling areas to get what I want out of chests, or attempting to steal summat with an unbelievably low drop rate

As for finishing the hunts...Im in a remarkably bad mood about that - the ps2 has been shoved under the tv since I died last. Subterra can kiss my arse

Beating all 100 footraces is hard enough let alone a 100% game.

I did it.
About 300+ hours into the game, all the hunts done, all of the Espers gathered, characters at Lvl 99.
I got all of the Strongest class weapons, meaning the strongest Sword, Bow and so on.
99 of everything I could get my hands on and I am no Longer a Knight of the Round, heehee ^^;;

After spending 120 hours just on the storyline and training, I decided against completing this game 100%. I have neither the time, nor the drive to make myself complete everything this game has to offer.

I'm glad that it's a game that's rich in side-quests though, so it's not like I was ever bored, but I wouldn't want to play through every little hunt and so on.

Anyway, i have a loooong way to go to get a 100% Complete game even though i won't make it untill my 360 comes back to me

Excatly which is one of the main reasons I am doing this.

Not to mention I intend to get full value for my game by accomplishing every thing that you possibly can do in this game too. XD

Anywayz game time is now 227 hours.

Everyone now upto level 86. The only major things lefr for me are to kill Omega and Yizzie, get the Wyrmhero Blade and everyone upto level 99.

Just finished the game at level 77, 100 hrs, I hope one day to achieve the 100% game, just not soon.
It was very disappointing that there is no new game plus feature, was looking forward to it, anyways it was a good game.

Master the sky pirates den (probally just need bestiary, full maps)
fishing mini game
trophy and rare monsters
and a list I got

Gastrophetes
grand helm
grand armor

I do aim to get 100% though I just don't have the motivation.

PS the list keeps on getting smaller.
