Christmas is about to hit us all like an unstoppable avalanche of snow and debris. If you're currently residing in the southern hemisphere, you're likely physically melting into an amorphous blob as we speak, so Christmas for you resembles more a pit of hellfire. And what better way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year than by drinking away all your sorrows and emptying your wallet as you're obligated to purchase gifts for all twelve snivelling members of your close family taking out your dusty sketchbooks and letting that imagination run free?
As is the case with our prior September and October drawing prompt events, you don't have to be an artist to enter. You don't even have to be sober. There are twelve days' worth of sketch prompts, and your task is to take out those drawing pencils and submit drawings according to each day as listed. Feel free to submit as many drawings as you wish that correspond to each theme of the day, but you're just as welcome to skip certain days if you so desire.
You don't even need to interpret the prompts literally or at face-value. You are free to interpret each prompt in however way you choose. For example, 'The Grinch' can be a rendition of Jim Carrey in his snot-green glory, or you may choose to draw someone in your life whom you consider to be a figurative Grinch!
If you missed days for some reason and still want to attempt a drawing, you’re more than welcome to and can submit on a different day (this does not apply to the Bonus Goal - read more below).
Challenge Rewards:
We may feature some of the drawings in our Instagram account ( #FFFDrawingPrompts )! How else will the world learn about our collective craziness?
As the event starts on the 13th and ends on the 24th, this means each daily theme corresponds to the following dates:
Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I won't bite.

Challenge Rewards:
- Draw and submit at least 3 drawings before the end of Christmas Eve. (3 GP + 5 CT)
- Bonus (group effort): Complete a full drawing exercise for 12 days (meaning, a drawing each day must be submitted by anyone). We need a total of 12 different drawings by multiple members. The only rule to this is that the drawing must be submitted by someone on the day of for it to count. So the more participants, the better. Let’s hope others can draw something on days that you can’t! (3 GP + 5 CT to all participants).
- If you're insane enough to draw 12 sketches for every different theme of the day, Santa may even grant you a secret reward. What is it? You'll have to find out...
