Square Enix has provided a first trailer for Chaos Rings II, the next entry in the Chaos Rings series. The title is being developed for iPhone/iPod/ touch and iPad.

While the clip lists the release date as TBA, producer Takehiro Ando said in an interview earlier today that the staff is aiming for a release this year.
The clip was first shared during a Ustream broadcast event that was held to commemorate today's release of Chaos Rings Omega, a prequel to the original Chaos Rings that just saw release today.
Chaos Rings and Chaos Rings Omega will be getting an update this summer. Omega will get free download quests at a rate of one quest every one or one-and-a-half months.
Both games will get free Japanese language voice packs. You can get a first listen at the voice enabled Chaos Rings here:
In today's interview, Ando said that the voice pack will just be in Japanese. English language players will be able to play with Japanese voices and English subtitles.
The first Chaos Rings is approaching 400,000 units sold, Square Enix promotional producer Kazunori Inoue revealed during the event. The game reached number one ranking in the Appstore in 15 countries, he said.
