i thought it was really stupid and a waist of time they should have just made it one player, a two player final fantasy is dumn in my opinion and they made you buy all this stuff just to play two players
Not sure if this would be considered a bump but I'll give my two cents anyway.
I think that multiplayer was the saving grace for FFCC. Other than being the first FF game where you make your charatcer, Multiplayer gave this game a much higher replay value. Imagine sitting there with your friends watching you play Final Fantasy seven. It's sort of eh, but with FFCC
you and your three friends get to play the game which makes it fun for everyone.
The only downside is that you and your friends all have to have an gameboy, and you have to by the 'GB to GC connecter' cabels. That sucks though XD
I actually like both simgle player and Multiplayer for this game. I did start playing single but once i got two GBA adapters, I've been playing it with my girlfriend and it's SO much more fun. My only complaint would be that they should have just been able to use the normal gamecube controllers. The game works really well as multiplayer.....and although I've not played more than 2 player game, I'm sure the 4 player game is excellent....both in gameplay and comedy value.
2player? there's nothing much in the game if you go just for 2 player. Though if you manage to play 4player (like I did with some friends) then you'll really enjoy a multiplayer.
2 player? It was more of a 4 player thing, but meh.
Anywho, I loved the multi-player mode. It was a nice feature. The way the game was set up, it actually was a nice feature to get 4 friends to play alongside with you. It was really fun.
I really liked the multiplayer on this game. I play it on 4 player most of the time, and it is so much fun. although, it does get annoying when you are attacking an enemy, and people walk of with the chalice. Or if you are looking at the wrong character. Lol. But, the game is a laugh, and all of my cousins had GBAs, and I already had 2 link cables, so the extra cost was not really a lot for me.
It was like playing 4 players with Gauntlet. It was an awesome feature to have your buddies playing and being along side with you to help you defeat evil! lol.
Only thing I kinda hated was having to obtain 4 Nintendo DS's. -___-. I didn't have one. XD.
My three friends and I all bought the game with a GB<=>GC cable. We started off separately then joined up. Funny thing was we each liked s different race.
