3rd Birthday team now focusing on FF Agito XIII [11/25]

Final Fantasy Agito XIII director Hajime Tabata has said the entire team that worked on The 3rd Birthday – including Tabata, who directed the game – has now turned its attention towards the mysterious PSP title.
In addition, Tabata discussed some of the RPG’s concepts on the 3rd Birthday Twitter.

According to Siliconera, the game sees a “fantasy conflict between four sides”, with battles being a mix of weapons and magic.
Agito XIII will also take a look at the two sides of reality: the ordinary and the extraordinary.

Tabata further added that anyone interested in Agito shoud play The 3rd Birthday to see what type of PSP titles the dev team is capable of making.
Expect a proper update on Agito XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII – both part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series with mainstay Final Fantasy XIII – next January.

Its nice to know they're FINALLY doing something about it - PSP FF games have a pretty good track record.

...still...being associated with FFXIII is almost a death sentence. I think I'll hold off on the excitement until I see something that shows this is going to be more than just style over substance.

About time... Or whatever. When did news about Agito come out again? And now they're finally thinking about it huh... And, a little bit of digression here but, what happened to Versus XIII?

In any case, I'm just hoping they'll release Agito soon. Which really is an obese hope. Really obese one, if I must say so myself.

FF Agito XIII will have “unique” multiplayer system

Final Fantasy Agito XIII director Hajime Tabata has revealed the game will have a unique multiplayer system.

He made his comments in the latest issue of Famitsu.
“Agito XIII isn’t going to be the typical kind of multiplayer game where people gather around and play together,” he said to the mag.
“It’ll have something unique and exclusive to itself.”
He added Agito’s development is “going along smoothly.”

“Occasionally I talk a little bit about how it’s going on The 3rd Birthday’s [Japanese] Twitter account, but development’s going along smoothly, and it’s going to be a really intense game, the sort where you’re using the Fire spell like a gun in a shooter.”
Agito will get its full blowout next month at an event in Japan alongside PS3 title Versus XIII.

Ha, words can't fool me. I mean, it is good to know they're working on it and everything but you know how the media is... they'll do everything to get people to buy into their shit. its marketing for you. I could be wrong however and I hope they prove that to me.

I'm with Martel. I hope they focus more onto the game rather then scenery though.

I've never played the 3rd Birthday.. err what its called but, it looked neat maybe Agito will be too? Who knows.
