OK, I'm up to nabudis and I went to the forests to the west and now I've been to all those areas... but now there's nowhere new...
Do I have to go through the Library of Eilif to advance?
And if so, can anyone help me?
I'm only level 23 and I keep getting totally pwned by the Guardians of Eilif...
Damn them and their Wicked Axes (or whatever)

Yes, you do need to go through the library.
Try packing a few potions, or failing that, try finding someone - within 10 levels of your level - to help.

Or, Keep training at Vidal Forest til your in the 30's (i was lvl 33) and then the Boss should be a breeze. I dont think you've made it all the way through the woods yet cause it goes all the way to Central Vidal Woods where at lvl 30 i was having trouble. So just keep training, and then fight the boss with lots of potions and then you get to move on to the next area. Its the only way.

No, I'm definitely in the centre bit, and I'm not getting pwnd in the slightest...
Stupid Guardians...
OK, thanks guys
Any reccomendations about Skill/(Other Point Name) points allocations?

Skill points i'd save till you know what you need them for - helpfull for when you need a few more welding/alchemy. Arcane, combat and training are easy enough to lvl without wasting skill points.
atttribute points - everyone different. I'd advise you to put a few on speed - so you have at least the same amount of turns as your enemies! After that it depends whether you want to be a mage or warrior as to what you spend them on.

If you choose the Mages side:
MAG, SPD, HP, MP, EVA or DEF

If you choose Warriors side:
STR, DEX, SPD, HP, EVA or DEF

Both Mage and Warrior (a paladin)
STR, SPD, MAG, DEX, HP, MP, EVA or DEF

thats what i think anyways...

Scan the Guardian. Make sure your stats are higher than that freak.

Being a Battlemage is much tougher, I tell you. But it's all worth it in the end. You'll find that your stats are well adjusted to many enemies. (Of course, only when you reach a certain level)

OK, Guardian down through a combination of technique, high Evasion and his defense lowering (I think) magic...
Any suggestions on which path I should choose (Mage/Warrior) the advantages/disadvantages of each and what level I should be to try the challenges?

lvl 30 is the best lvl for u to start and mages or warriors depends on ur stats

Considering how you have very little Mag stat, I'd highly recommend taking on the Hall of Warriors first and foremost. However if you wish to become a Mage, you'll need to assign your earned attribute points to the required stats before you can begin to take on the other Hall.

You're much better suited for Hall of Warriors, though I suggest you spend some time levelling up Cura, along with Beserk and Haste. You don't currently have the latter two, but they're recommended spells to have at this stage.
