I mean I know its prolly cool or something, but never once have I ever spent the time maxing her skills to achieve this ability. Honestly what is the point of doing so anyway when she just dies?

Has anyone actually ever gotten this limit break? And was it because you just naturally leveled that much (hard to believe). or did you get it just because you wanted to see it?

I guess its not worth it... but is it awesome?

Haha I remember the first time I played the game I was so maxed out on her skills that I almost had all of her limit breaks (played her a lot), and was pissed off when she died.

Actually, I never much liked her character in the first place so after that first part where you have to use her, I never did again. So....I wasn't really phased by her dying. Honestly did not care. I had Vincent and Cait Sith in my party though. Fun times.

But yes, once you play through it once, you honestly have to wonder what idiot with so much free time on their hands would spend all that time for a limit break that disappears after a disc?

Funny thing you should actually make this thread.. I just got her Final Limit break yesterday or two days ago, and yes I was trying, mainly because dang it all I'm going do everything in FFVII this play through even if it kills me...

Is it worth it? not really, there's no bosses that early in the game you care to be immune to. Her only I really like that early in the game is Fury Brand because then your other two Characters Limit breaks are use able.

That's exactly why I have got it, I will do everything on this playthrough and I mean everything.

Couldn't agree more, her limit break is fantastic but having it this early in the game is far too overpowering, then again, I have Red XIII on level 4 and Barret and Cloud aren't too far behind.

Well, it's a trump card of limit breaks. :hmmm: but it is pretty um, overpowering in the beginning of the game. I guess the only point in having it is to just have it to complete the game.

I think personally, the development time spent given to make ALL her limit breaks (I don't think I've ever managed to get her to Limit level 2 while playing normally) could have been spend on giving Cait Sith a full set of Limit Breaks. I guess dice isn't that bad, and the fact that it gets stronger (I forget what it's based on...level?) is a plus, and then you have slots, which speaks for itself.

Between Aerith and Cait Sith, that's two characters I BARELY touch. I usually never bother with Aerith because why get her stronger when you are going to lose her. That time spent making her stronger could be better used on Tifa, or even Cid (since you do take control of Cid when Cloud loses his mind). As far as Cait Sith, I never really ever feel a need to use him.

Damnit, now I want to play FFVII, lol. I may have to dig it out...but we'll see, I have an NFL game to watch, lol.

Ya know it's like I tell ppl a lot. There's really no point to it whatsoever unless you just have to do it to be able to say that you DID do it. However having any character die before the game even ends seems kind of shitty anyway. That's about the only thing I think that was made wrong in the game.

I will admit that because I liked Aerith as a character that I spent a lot of time leveling her up so she could become really useful to my party. I went all over trying to get her ultimate weapon and when I finally did I
lost her
:sad3:

To me it does seem a lot of a waste going out of your way to use her in your team and try and make the best use of her while you can...because by the time you can get everything the way you want it,
she's gone
. I can't honestly remember where I was with her limit breaks when it happened, although I'm pretty sure I had gotten her final one right before it happened :damon:

So I'd really only recommend trying and getting her well-leveled, getting all of her limit breaks and her best weapons only if you intend on roaming around and grinding to be able to use them, because if you plan on moving on in the game you are reallly wasting a lot of the time you've invested. Also only if you genuinely liked her as a character.

That's where I was going with this too. She was a great character and plays an important role in the story all together but they should have left her death way later on in the game. Perhaps right before or right after the final battle. I just don't know how that would have worked out with the meteor falling and all seeing as how it took 7 days for it to arrive on Gaia.

I got it for the first time not so long ago, just for completion sake. It doesn't really take all that long tbh, I just spammed the monsters in junon forests which sped things up nicely, its just the to-ing and fro-ing from one continent to the other when all you have is a buggy that's a nightmare

Whether Id get it again or not though is highly unlikely, I just wanted to get it just for the sake of it to say Yes, I am a sad bastard and I got that limit break

Actually, if you just make her the primary mob killer when she's in your party (lol, Aeris a "killer", I know), you can pretty much unlock all of her limits before her death without putting any additional time or effort in.

I don't grind in any game (I go straight for my objective) and I prefer not to use her (<<< Cid, Tifa, Yuffie), but despite these limitations I managed to get her Fury Brand by Gongaga just by killing off mobs with Matra Magic or something whenever she was a part of my trio.

Nice I might have to try that just to see if it happens. I'm not big into grinding any game either so that seems like a much more reasonable way. I vote she gets a new limit break if they ever do a remake. Something like oh I don't know....omni@#$%youubbeatdown or something? lol. But seriously...I think I'll try that. I just finished 7 again and I've been playing for 30 something hours so I'm really hammering down on VIII right now.

It doesn't take that much time you get it. You'll most likely travel back and forth to Fort Condor anyway (like ten times), so you might as well pick it up on the way. Getting the six first limit breaks will probably take half an hour in the Junon forest. And remember that Fury Brand can be used to help the other chacters learn their limit breaks faster, so it's really not a waste of time.

Plus, it's rather awesome to use Great Gospel against that gatekeeper... :)

If you're the kind of gamer who needs to get 100% complete on every game you play then it probably is worth it. Otherwise, I'm not sure if it's worth it or not, up to the player. I never really got it. I would usually level up my party by 2/3 between boss battles to increase my chances of beating them. When I want to beat a RPG I can be surprisingly patient with the leveling up.

And don't even get me started on the "Angry Demigod with Mommy Issues"
killing her

I could be here all day.
