Anime on Adult Swim

Is it just me, or has anime on Adult Swim really taken a turn for the worst?

All I ever see on there anymore are shows like Trinity Blood, and Inuyasha, and Bleach, and shows that I personally think are terrible (at least compared to what they used to show).

I remember a few years back, staying up at my friend's house and watching shows like Cowboy Bebop, Serial Experiments Lain, and Neon Genesis Evangelion, all on Adult Swim.

I think someone should write to them and ask them to put some of those old shows back on, I would certainly start watching it then.
 
I certaintly Agree. And it's not just adult swim either. It's basically all the shows on CartoonNetwork. I've stoped watching that channel completely. The Anime up there are just to boring and cliche...no originality whatsoever. InuYasah I use to liek but it's gotten so drawn out that i'm not even concern with the story anymore.

THEY DIDN'T EVEN FINISH YU YU HAKUSHO!
 
The only thing that I have recently watched has been Naruto.

Haven't seen InuYasha in forever. Not once have I seen Bleach.. maybe it just comes on too late.
 
basically, they did finish yu yu hakusho. it was on at aroun 5:00 AM on friday night/ saturday morning. also, they are also running .Hack at that time.
 
As I watched adultswim throughout the years I noticed many of the anime I used to love to watch began to disappear. And what it was replaced with was comedy. And not the good side splitting comedy but the kind that's only funny if you were drugged. What's happened to the adultswim I used to know.

Why has cartoon network suddenly started to show anime in secret. In case you don't know it's the dreaded 5:00 hour. Fans of shows like .hack or yu yu hakusho had to wake up at 5:00 a.m. in order to watch there beloved anime. I tried to wake up in time to catch them all but I failed. I wish cartoon network would get off it's high horse and fix it's shows.

What happened to Serial Experiments Lain? What happened to Cowboy Bebop? .Hack// (even though I never saw it, I've heard great things). I even miss the Gundam Wing shows.

I'm seriously considering writing to them and asking them to bring back some of the good ones, or at least put them on at a reasonable hour. I mean, what the hell is this Bobobobobobobo guy? I want the inter-galactic bounty hunters, and mech pilots, and trippy, psychotic, cyber punk-dystopian settings. Not InuYasha and Bleach.
 
The only show that I really watch on Adult Swim is Bleach. Everything else doesn't really interest me and I'm usually out on Satuday nights.

I wish they would bring Cowboy Bebop back to Adult Swim. Last time I saw in on there it was on at 4 am.
 
I don't watch anime on adult swim anymore myself. I used to watch Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Paranoia Agent & EVA. I can't stand InuYasha, Bleach or Trinity Blood.
 
You got a point there Rydia. I would rather watch one piece on youtube rather than the 4kids version.

Well I hate to be the one to tell you this but Adultswim never aired Serial Experiments Lain. I wish they did thou, well at one point in time adult swim always showed either Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, or Samurai Chemploo. But there never on at the same time, so when Samurai Chemploo goes off they'll bring back Cowboy Bebop. Bleach is a good choice for a new show, I hope the next new show will be Death Note.
 
i love the anime they show on adult swim. Inuyasha, Bleach and Trinity Blood are great animes... I do wish that they would bring take off some of the dumb non animes they have on there like Squidbillies, Metalcalypse, and replace them with some of the old ones such as Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebob. Hell, they should also add some other good ones like Saiyuki, and Gungrave

First of all, let me say that Metalocalypse was an amazing show, and ten times better then any anime show on there right now (in my opinion).

And yes, I clearly remember them airing Serial Experiments Lain on there at one point. It could have been the pilot episode, and they just didn't decide to keep it on there, but I clearly remember watching Adult Swim with my friend when it came on. They may not have kept it, but I do know they aired it at least once, and I think they should have kept it.
 
I liked the old tsunami it showed good things now not much is good... ghost in shell is good hmmm i miss almost all of the old ones like trigun rouni kenshin tenshi yuyuhakosho etc. and Neon Genises that was awsome!

Does anyone remember when Outlaw Star was on Adult Swim?
I think this was about 5-6 years ago, but that was my favorite show. I stayed up every night to watch it. It was kinda like cowboy bebop, but better.

Also, what's wrong with Shin Chan? He's like a miniature version of me :D:D
 
If I'm not mistaken didn't they also show Big O?

I haven't watched Adult Swim in about a year or so cause the shows have gotten boring and all they show are re-runs now.

I would like to see Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Big O again.

Perhaps Samurai X could even go on there.
 
Actually, once in a while, Big O is on air late at night, but very rarely. And Samurai Champloo is on Saturday nights (I think it's on right now actually....)
