Ape Escape [RP]

Today is the day of a school's field trip to see the newly completed Time Machine, the first of it's kind built in the world. The Professor, as well as building this machine also constructed other powerful devices such as the Peak-Point Helmet.

However, on this day, an Albino Monkey from the town's Amusement Park managed to get his hands on a Peak Point Helmet and as well as gaining super intelligence far surpassing that of any monkey he also gets controlled by it, becoming evil.

Placing other Peak Point Helmets on the heads of his fellow Monkeys at the Park, he then breaks them all out and quickly attacks The Professor's Lab, capturing The Professor and his assistant in the process before activating the Time Machine. At this time, the school children enter the room and get sucked into the Time Vortex along with Specter and his Monkeys.

Now all the children have been seperated within the mass of time, entering what had happened to the world over it's immense life with only each other to rely on to save themselves and get back to their own time. Will they be able to send all the monkeys back to their own time or will Specter be able to change history in the Monkey's favour?

After being engulfed by a white light, James found himself falling through a seemingly endless whirlpool of silver and grey. After what seemed like forever, he fell onto hard ground. Pulling himself to his feet he noticed a strange club and a large net in both hands, observing his surroundings he assumed he was some kind of forest, filled with giant trees, plants and... Dinosaurs?

As James looked around, he spotted what, going by the books he read about Dinosaurs to be a Triceratops. Instead of being scared, he quickly ran over to it to try and jump on it's back, before he got within reach however it turned on him, horns pointed at him and tried to thrust it's horns through him. Jumping back, he was then promptly charged by the Triceratops. Running as fast as he can he then ran into a T-Rex which, seeing James as barely a mouthful turned on the Triceratops, quickly lunging at it's crest. Not sticking around to see who wins, James continued to run away from them till he was met with a huge river. "So, this is the Dinosaurs... Sounds like fun!"

Luca scratched her ear as the other monkeys set about to wreak havoc and finding things to graffiti Spectres face on. She shook her head and leaped off towards a group of dinosaurs that were beside a small monument, following a few other monkeys hauling a giant stone statue of their master towards it. She adjusted ehr goggles slightly and sighed at the pointlessness of the task, if they got world domination, things would be boring right? She snapped out of her daze by the screechings of the other guys tellinhg her to help, and she lay two paws on the bottom of the statue to hold it up with two of the others onto a platform, then they scarpered elsewhere.

The strange whirlwind of light faded, and Thales found himself in mid air, plummeting downwards. Luckily, a tree broke his fall and Thales yelled and groaned with each contact with the branches as he found himself tumbling his way to the bottom. He eventually hit the ground with a thud.

After a brief moment holding his head on the floor, Thales looked up to see himself in a large jungle, with a pool in front of him. Standing up, he went to brush himself off but noticed that he was holding a stun baton and a Time Net. Confused and dazed, The Monkey Shocker walked onwards towards the shore of the pool.

Upon entering the large open area of the pool Thales was utterly amazed by what he saw. On the far side of the water he spotted a diplodocus sipping the water, and to his left he could spot a baby stegosaurus quenching his thirst.

Amazed and confused, Thales walked up to pet the stegosaurus, to check if it was real or if his classmates had knocked him out and placed him in a dinosaur ride as a prank. He then decided that if it was a prank then he’d better not pet it, for they could be snickering behind the bushes at him showing love for a dinosaur, and he’d hate to fall victim to that sort of abuse. Instead, he decided that he would attempt to strike it!

“I’ll not fall for you, animatronic!”

Just as he was about to hit the stegosaurus he heard a monkey squeal, which immediately caught his attention. He looked around at the pool to see an ape with a strange helmet at another side of the water, throwing banana skins behind him to save himself from the approach of a fierce looking raptor.

“Monkeys!” yelled Thales.

“Ha ha ha! Monkeys! You have not escaped me yet!”

Thales’ green and blue eyes almost popped out with a sort of ecstatic, hysterical glee.

“But wait… That velociraptor was chasing it… That surely can’t be part of the dinosaur ride?”

Thales then turned his head around again to look at the baby stegosaurus who, it was revealed, had been evidently terrified by the approach of Thales. The baby had lowered itself onto the ground, resting primarily on its hind legs while using its front legs to partially obscure its eyes. It was shaking uncontrollably, and Thales even noticed that the creature was crying, for water sprayed outwards and formed small puddles on either side of it.

“Wow… These things are real!” shouted Thales, shock in his face, and his mouth feeling almost as wide as the pool.

He realised that he was still holding his stun club up into the air in a striking pose. He rectified this, and dropped the stun club on the ground and immediately went to hug the frightened stegosaurus.

“There there, Steggie. I’m not going to hurt you!”

He petted and patted the stegosaurus to try and regain its trust. It stopped crying, and Thales was delighted. He tickled it under its chin for a while and it began to smile; a small cute triangle of a smile, followed by a giggling noise.

“Awww… This is a real dinosaur! Ha ha ha! A dinosaur! And I’m tickling it!”

Suddenly from the bushes came a loud sound… Thales jumped up immediately, and sulked. He dreaded that out of the bushes would come his snickering classmates with their cameras, and that Steggie was actually just a very advanced robotic after all.

To a mixture of relief and horror, Thales realised that there were no classmates in the bushes. Storming out of the bushes appeared Steggie’s mother!

“Yikes!” yelled Thales as he leapt backwards and began to run away. The stegosaurus did not chase him, however, and just licked her baby and then took a drink from the pool.

Seeing this as his cue to leave, Thales sighed and looked upwards at the sky. A pterodactyl could be spotted in the distance, flying between two large volcanoes.

“Monkeys… Dinosaurs… Woah! I’m back in time! And the monkeys are here with me!”

Thales grinned a crescent-shaped grin.

“I get to hunt monkeys AND learn about history at the same time! I’ll show them back at school who is the REAL master of History! Ha ha! I’m on the ultimate field trip!”

The stegosaurs walked off, and Thales remembered that he had dropped his stun club. He walked up to it, picked it up, and held it to the sky.

“I have the equipment I need! At last I shall get my revenge!”

He then held his Time Net and swished it around in circles in experimentation. He smiled and nodded.

Thales then sprinted into the jungle, and began to head in the direction that the ape he had spotted had been chased. The Monkey Shocker was loose in a jungle full of monkeys and dinosaurs, and he was going to enjoy the sweet taste of glory after all!

Luca paced up and down outside a small forest, watching the dinosaurs eating and peeling bananas to eat, yummy! Her helmet emmitted her calm blue light as she relaxed in the shade.

Looking over the river, James saw a few logs running down it, on one of these he caught sight of a Monkey "found you!" James, impulsively leapt into the river and swam to one of the logs and managed to grab hold of one.

The Monkey, now alert to his presence had a bright red Pipo helmet light now as it leapt across the logs, trying to escape. James managed to stand on one and jumped across them, trying to catch up as the Monkey managed to jump to the other side of the river as James looked on, seeing the river end... At a waterfall.

Being too far from the other end of the river he was sent over the waterfall as he vainly attempted to run away from it as he began to fall down to the bottom...

Luca saw one of her fellows being chased by a human, and the human stupidly falling down a waterfall, she stood and laughed; pointing her finger at the silly human. She jumped and swung to the start of the waterfall and looked down laughing hard before losing her balance, swinging right and left before falling just as the human did. 'Stupid human...' She thought.
