About 15 mins ago, I finally caught all 7 butterflies in the area with the butterfly-dude..YAY legendary weapon for Kimahri...NOT!! I got a teleport sphere, only to find out that I also have to catch and avoid those butterflies from hell in another area...AARRGGHH COME ON GIVE ME A BREAK :pingas:...

...just needed to let a little steam out...

After Kimahri, I still need to get Rikkus and Wakkas legendarys weapons.

Lol thats why I use Yuna.. Her weapon is easy as hell to get and it owns..
 
I really dont use Kamihri, but I want to get all of the legendary wepons.
 
Can we perhaps keep the one-liners to a minimum, please? :)
 
Have fun in the other area. There's a corner of red butterfly doom. The first area is a peice of piss, so is this 2nd one... til that last corner, you are essentially taking it blind, it drives me insane. And there's nowt like sucessfully getting round it, only to accidentally run off the screen to do it again :hmph:
 
I just finished the 2nd area..YAY... that was a really annoying part of this game. Its crazy how such a small part of a game can get on your nerves...now I understand why some members inhere really hated, the chocobo racing part, which I had no problems with...sweet succes :cookie:

Now I'm taking a little break, only to begin getting Rikkus Ultimate weapon.
 
How fast did you do it then? o_O

I spent hours, maybe days on getting all stupid butterflies right on time =O I was always too late for the last one, or touched a red one at the end and Tidus wastes so many time with that >.>

Well you at least past the most annoying part of the game, though Wakka's legendary weapon takes a loooong time as well >.<
 
It took me about 4 hours of conteniously gaming to finish both areas. But I lost patience with it already after my 1st try. After a hour I muted the TV and put some relaxing music on, which really helped me a lot...but I must say my left thumbgot it's old Nintendo injury back :) trying to avoid those edges and butterflies.

Well before I went to bed yesterday I Finished the cactus hunting and got Rikku's weapon powered up... :cookie:

But now I'm trying to get wakkas...(last weapon I need) but I'm already thinking of quitting...blitzball is very boring imo...anyone got some tips on any players I can sign for my team, so at least someone has some good stats ?

Lol. You get Kimahris Celestial Weapon in Thunder Plains. You mean the Sigil or Crest right?

I got Rikkus, Yunas and Lulus so far, aiming for Kimahris and Aurons when i get the chance.... spent 2 hours trying to get Tidus's, but no matter how many times i beat the chocobo rider in Calm Lands, the damned guard wont let me past!

Depends, what players have you already got?

There's probably better players out there of course, but I always go back to Luca once you reach the Mi'ihen Highroad to sign Jumal (guy on bench near fountain) and Wedge (security guard for Stadium).
I keep them throughout the game, and they do well by me.
Also, Ropp (innkeeper for Mi'ihen Rin's Agency) isn't bad either.

I think you can also recruit Wakka when you're near the end of the game.
You may need to raise your scouting level though. Not sure.

You have to beat the chocobotrainer with a time of 0:00:00 in order to get him to leave...but after you have done this once, the next time you just have to beat the trainer...not at any specific time. SEE THIS THREAD

Lol you really had the patience xD After 4 hours I would have sat in a corner pulling my hair out.

For blitzball I first played the game with awesome stats and all. but when I read the guide about it I just reset the game the whole time until I saw one of the things you need to have for the sigil/ crest (forgot which one) Because if you play it with all teh recruited players you have a great chance when a league starts again the item isn't there. I played one league for nothing, for a lousy price actually, something like a hi-potion x.x and I was too stubborn to reset because I thought the item would show afterwards, but nooo :mokken:

After I get his, I need LuLu's and Wakka's.

OK, MY BAD his weapon is in Thunder plains, but to get the segil or crest you have to beat the butterflies twice...keep in mind I was pretty frustrated when i wrote it, so typing weapon was the same as crest or sigil for me :confused: .

I just played 3 blitzball matches...this is going to take sooooooo much time before I'm able to get all the stuff for wakka :mad:.
You played a whole league for x-potion ? waste of time..
 
Okay then, just as long as you didn't do that, expecting the weapon. D:

Arrgghh, I've never won a Blitzball match. It's so tiring. I never get a goal or anything x__x

I know what you mean, you think you almost have it and you fail so you think you MIGHT succeed the next time but that mostly doesn't happen xD

Yeah the matches are like 10 minutes o_O Couldn't they have shortened it?
I know, I liked blitzball at first and had a whole good team already so that's why I played a whole league because like I said earlier I didn't want to reset and thought that stupid item would probably come in teh next league. :P When I did reset the game, I sucked at every blitzball match because the luca goers and al bhed psyches are pretty hard then >.<
 
Haha, i play blitzball for fun, and not very often, i'm more interested in killing monsters and finding all those damned Primers.

Then again, i suck at just about every minigame the FF series has come out with, the only one i exclelled at was Triple triads (FF8) lol.
