Bad Parents

I made this topic because I've had it with bad parents

Why are some parents just horrible with their kids? Sometimes even ignored.. What kind of background did this parent have to make him/her ignore or mistreat their child? I think there should be strict background checks on the parents before they are let out of the hospital with the baby i.e. criminal records.

Because potentially, they could start breeding the future rapist/murderer/terrorist/Asshole/Bitch.

There has to be a way to stop these people breeding. If we can control terrorism, there should be a way to control this. If there was some kind of technology where a person who was caught commiting a crime would lose the ability to have children for a few years. Like an injection that has the complete opposite effect of viagra. Something that can make a women infertile years where there is no reversal or make a man impotent.

I'm annoyed with these people... Sorry for the randomness of this topic. But these people are like friggin cane toads... they spread like crazy and cause all sorts of problems...:mad:
 
Hmmm, i have learnt alot of Law and Order: SVU, usally the problem is that how they were growing up, so if the parent has been mistreated in there past usally thats why.

But i totally agree with you, because i heard that this girls parents, just left her outside for 1 year, they didn't notice because they wer drug addics and she just went to a kennel and got brought up by dogs.

Now just say my parents were hit or raped by there parents (not saying that did happen) that menas that they would be angry and they would think that is the proper way to raise a child.
 
Besides the way the parents were brought up, they're are also plenty of of couples who think it's 'cute' to have babies, and that they should just do it as soon as they possibly can whether they're emotionally/financially ready or not.

I do have to pick on certain women/girls here for a moment, cause I have a friend who is exactly like this. There are women who want to have a baby, cause the only thing they're thinking of is A.) The pregnancy, cause of all the attention they're get, and they'll get to have a baby shower, and the gifts, etc.... and B.) They think about how cute it would be to have a baby, and they don't think beyond that, and it makes me ill.

Dont you just freaking hate that? The screaming, changing nappies, life changing and constant looking after side doesnt register to them untill the hype has died down, which is about a month after the babys born or eariler.
"I cant drink anymore."
"I cant go see my mates anymore."
"I cant smoke/do drugs anymore."
Well, guess what? Your a parent now, sorry. Yes, 9 months ago you should have used your brain and used protection or just said no. But you being a dumb 15 year old tart with a skirt up her arse and a 19 year old weed smoking, bling wearing, Escort driving, Burberry wearing chavvy boyfriend just couldnt resist could you?

So what do you do next? You
A) Abandon the child on your parents. Hey, theyve had more experince then you right and can afford to look after it seeing as though they earn 24/7 to keep a roof over your head
B) Just have your mates round for some smoking, drinking and socalising anyway. The kid will eventually sotp crying.
C) Forget its there ...

Sorry Im off on a rant also!
 
Not to mention that there are girls who get knocked up and cannot have an abortion because of their conservative parents. Then again, some conservative parents are the fault of their daughter's pregnancy, because they either do not want to teach them sex education, or they are very against any form of birth control. Quite sad though.

Actually, there was a girl from my high school who graduated after me. When she was 19, she thought she found her soul mate. They had a kid and she thought he was going to stay with her. No, after the baby was born he left after three months. LOL, OWNED! I love it when girls are like: "He's my soul mate, I love him! I've been together for a year! (Or less than a year) Lets have a baby!"

I love watching trashy talk shows when I'm bored. Sometimes they air: "I'm a teenage mother, help me!" Of course they're crying and saying: "I can't be with my friends anymore! My boyfriend left me! I can't do anything!" I'm like: "Well....isn't that too bad. Sucks to be you eh? Should of thought about using protection."

OH GOD! I despise Burberry! *screams*

It's sad how most of these children that belong to teenage mothers will grow up to be. Girls might repeat their mom and have a kid when their 14-17. Boys might end up dealing drugs, joining a gang and committing crimes. It seems rare to hear these children (of teenage moms) end up being successful.
