Which game had the group of heroes that had the most interesting interaction?

For me it has to be FFIX. In this game you see all kind of characters have meaningful conversations with each other, not just the main hero. I liked how Freya could be the one talking with Vivi about something that bothered him or Garnet, not just the main character.

Worst in this regard has to be FFVIII for me. Since I liked some of the characters, I thought it was a shame that we didn't get to see what they thought of some of the others. Especially since they were supposed to know each other from before and there were just six of them. It shouldn't have been that hard to not make almost everything revolve around Squall and Rinoa.

Hey Crescent. Quite funny that I agree with both of your answers.

The reason I got so addicted to FF9 were the characters and how they interacted. I swear this is the only FF game that actually made me laugh. There wasn't a single character I disliked!

I would have to probably nominate FF12 for worst interaction alongside 8 though. Mainly because there wasn't ENOUGH interaction :P I hated the long dungeon crawls with no opportunity taken to get the characters talking.

Hahaha, I can see people voting XII so many times in this.

Anyway, best~~ IX/X/XII. They all had their good moments, can't really explain at the moment.

Worst~ VIII's. Something just bugged me...

Either FFX's or FFIX's;

FFX's group just seemed so close to each other, the fact that all of them (minus Tidus, Auron and Rikku) came from the same town and were after a common goal really made the group seem more realistic in the way they interacted with each other and towards the end of the game
when they reach Zanarkand
the group seemed very close to each other.

That pretty much sums up why I think FFIX's group had good interaction

XII didn't seem to have the same level of interaction as some of the other Final Fantasies. at times it felt like certain characters were distant from others.
