This is a voting thread for the best armor set. Which armor set do you think is the best one? Please choose wisely on your vote since you can only vote once.

I voted for the Genji set because of it's multiple abilities. It has Luck+3, Regen+20%, HP to BRV and Ex Core Appearance Boost. For me it is the best armor set in the game. There are some other great armor sets with great abilities, but I prefer using the Genji set the most. Each armor set has a purpose of use depending on your character's build.

I like the adamant type armor, when you think about it it comes from adamantium?
that stuff would be awesome to work with in a smithy and Its what the Trigger assembly
on the LionHeart was made from.

Extremely heat resistance!
 
Well that was wierd. i replied to the thread but my post didn't show.

Anyways, I think the best armour set it the genji set. Rare to find and gives the best stats for fighter types.

(i haven't played XI or XIII yet so i can't really say anything about the others)
 
I think that it is the adamant set. I just can't get enough of the free BRV boosts. The others aren't that great.
 
I found the Adamant Chains and Snowpetal sets to be a bit weird. Surely you'd expect a mage to evade, and a physical fighter to block?

Anyway, I prefer Adamant. Evading is something I find myself doing more often in a fight, so eh, the rewards are there.

not sure what you guys are talking about, does getting the full set allow you to evade better? all I see is the adamant chains 1/3 thing
 
You get a 30% brave boost + midair evasion boost with adamant for every time it says dodge.
 
I prefer the Genji set because I main Cloud with his EX build. But it just depends what kind of build you want your character to be.
