i am amazed that after looking at all the threads there isnt one thread for this band, it is quite shocking as this is probably one of the most well known punk rock bands EVER and i'm sure nearly every FFF member will have one blink song on their itunes or whatever media player the use!

Blink 182 helped me in high school, along with Green Day, Muse and Marilyn Manson lol. Yeah Blink were 1 of my fav bands back in the day and I had the biggest crush on Tom :/ Yeap ....

Anyhoo, Eneima (sp) of the State was my fav album and IMO what followed sucked royal arse. They just seemed to loose their mad, geeky, awesome-ness. They were so coolio runninf round naked and just not caring :-)

And I cant keep track of what they do now!

I had the biggest crush on Tom :/ Yeap ....
I still do <3
Blink are amazing though just fall short of my top 3 bands
personally i prefer old blink(the Scott days)dude ranch and below, tbh there songs both mean so much to me and they also make no sence at the same time

Pathetic,TouchDown boy,Josie beats Feeling this, Whats my age again, and all the small things anyday of the week ^_^

I own all their albums, absolutely love them...too bad they broke up. I believe they are getting back together some time soon though right?

They are addicting to listen to, My favorite song is Whats My Age Again because I slightly have ADD >..>

And I love the Irony of it all XD

All of their albums are great though no doubt about that!

The only album I own from them is Dude Ranch, which is freaking great. They have an entire song devoted to Star Wars for Christ's sake.

My town is littered with pop-punk bands, and most because of Blink-182.

Yeah? sounds cool, it always cool to see Blink Fans -- they mist be inspirational to punk fans and such alike. I love doing any of their songs on Rock Band especially on the drums go Travis!

I love Blink 182.

I simply loved the last album. <3

So many awesome songs!

'Always' was probably my favourite song.

I listened to them constantly during highschool. I loved their lyrics. >.< They always seemed to relate to what I felt! Awesome band!

I love Blink 182.

I must admit I wasn't so into their random songs, as I fell in love once I heard their more serious side. They have great potential to write gorgeous lyrics.

Some of my favourites are I Miss You, Always, I'm Lost Without You, What's My Age Again, Dammit, Down, and my definite favourite would have to be their collab with The Cure's lead singer Robert Smith, the song's called All Of This.

All Of This

Mark is great. :mokken:

♫ Another night with her, but I'm always wanting you... ♪

I grew up on Blink 182. When I was younger, this was the face of rock music for me. Yeah, I was into classics (Nirvana), yeah, I was in to other bands (like their good friends and touring mates, Taking Back Sunday), but none could top Blink for me back then.

Dude Ranch generally sucked. I liked "New Hope" for the Star Wars homage, but Dammit was about the only good track from them.

Then enter Barker, and thus begins the gradual maturity of their musical compositions.

From Enema: Mutt was a fun, up-beat track. Adam's Song is a very thought-provoking piece with great composition and unique sound. Going Away to College was good. And finally, Wendy Clear contained an awesome guitar riff from Tom that made this song up there.

Take Off: Stay Together for The Kids was Blink showing early signs of their serious potential once again; a powerful piece with great lyrics and musical composition. Reckless Abandon and Roller Coaster were both great, up-beat tracks. And finally, Shut Up was a hard, aggressive song that managed both vulgarity and maturity in one (lulz).

Then there was their self-titled release: Stockholm Syndrome had violent, blaring sounds that leaped out to the ear, and the late bridge from Mark was a favorite. Obvious was another track that managed to be hard and up-beat. Here's Your Letter was probably my favorite from this, between Barker's drumming, Mark's vocals, and Tom's guitar riff here. Violence was just so intricate, with brilliance composition; it best displayed Blink's musical maturity and capabilities, even so much as venturing out of typical 4/4 measures and such format. I can't even sum up this album to several highlights, as most of the songs from this were great.

I mean, even in transitioning their music from pop punk to the more alternative sounds, from the immature to the mature - they were great. They best demonstrated that you don't need to throw in the world's most intricate musical capabilities to simply produce a good song, nor an entire ensemble to execute it. They're three guys who simply know how to make good music.

One of my top bands, for sure.

Blink is Awesome! Definitely in my top 5 bands. I have all their albums. My favorite song is Feeling This. It just totally captured my imagination and made me want to shred.

Which would explain this post as well. I might have undercredited a bit, but Dude Ranch was a generally lousy album.
