Candy Canes For All!

Sadly enough Kandy-Sugar couldn't make it this year, but we'd love to keep her idea going. Keeping you to it for next year, lady!

Now there will be some rules in which you have to follow, and I will be monitoring the thread to ensure that they are followed.

Rule 1: You are given 25 candy canes and 25 only.

Rule 2: This is the thread in which you will post the candy canes you wish to hand out to certain members and if you could it'd be nice to say why you're giving a certain member a candy cane, but if you'd rather not say, then that's fine too.

Rule 3: Once you have run out of candy canes you can not ask for more. Once you have handed out the 25 you are given you can not get them back.

Rule 4: There is no changing your minds either.

You can not post saying anything like, "I'd like to take back the candy cane I gave to such and such and give it to another member.'

This may hurt peoples feelings and it's just another way to ensure that you actually think about who you are handing out your candy canes too.

Rule 5: You don't have to use all of your candy canes.

There may not be that many people that you know very well and you'd prefer to just leave it at the select few you've already handed candy canes out too.

Rule 6: Only 1 candy cane per member.
EG: If you find that you have 4 candy canes left, you ARE NOT allowed to then give those to a member you have already given a candy cane too, thinking that it would be nice to give them 5 candy canes in stead of 1.

You are only allowed to hand out 1 candy cane per member and no more.​


Rule 7: Please state the members username and not what you know them by. It makes it easier to see who's who. You may add their real names next to their username if you wish. If you do not state their username and I don't know who you're referring to by their nickname, then they will be missed in getting added to the list.

And if another member has asked if you have leftover candy canes that they wish to use up, you are not allowed to give other members candy canes that you do not wish to use so that they can hand out more then 25.

Okay first some to of my fellow XIV buddies for being a good group i'd like to give out ones to Vircon, Chanteru, Pockets, Mitsuki and i think you played with us to before Six

Then to show I am nice and for them putting up with the constant abuse I give them like to give ones to Mistletoe, Cookie McGee and for a random person right now Shacae,

That's more than a little fascistic.

I will give one candy cane to the clarifiers. Not one each, just one to be shared by all of them.

I will also give one candy cane to CAssinoChips for the all the hard work he does heavily monitoring me.

I shall give one candy cane to Lewis so that he stops going on about psn deleting him.

I shall give a candy cane to SaCha for being in my top ten favourite australians.

I shall give a candy cane to Toni for being in my top 30 favourite austrians.

I shall give a candy cane to Connnnnnnnnor for being my clone.

I shall give Morrisey a candy cane for being the best human to have ever lived.

I shall give myself a candy cane for being the second best human to have ever lived.

I shall give Kanye West a candy cane for being the third best human to have ever lived.

I shall give James a candy cane because he is funny.

I give my remaining 15 candy canes to my pal Ariana. I do this because Guatemala, her native country is very poor. Also sucking on phallic candy canes is the closest she will ever get to having sex, even if she is the sexy age.

2. @Mitsuki: ♥ BFF. Etc, etc. Not been on for 3 days - dead. :wacky: Someone I've got to know more and more the passed few years. A dedicated admin, and just as much of a dedicated friend. From rants about nail polish, or the more heavy stuff, you'll lend an ear. Thankful to have you around. =]

3. @Big Casino: Scotty, Biffy Clyro, what's it been now... 4 years of friendship? Ups and downs, but, we are survivours! :ryan: I still remember how you said you had a guitar but hadn't touched it in years, but now are pingling on it everyday. Influence, Lewis. I'm a good one! xD Hope the next year is easier on the both of us.

4. @Paper Ballerina: ♥ Lady, my OG partner in crime. :wacky: Once again, also hoping the next year is easier on you. I look forward to having you around in the Clans, and hopefully chatting a bit more once you get your new laptop! Christmas?! Fingers crossed x!

5. Galadín: Haven't talked to you that much since you first became our new Clan leader, but you're a great person, and dedication shows on your other forum. I hope we can get to know each other a bit more in the new year, and that we can set down a solid set of Clans.

6. Belazor et Britannia: Technerdical Admin. You're, as you said as well, a very opinionated person. I can see that clash often. xD As long as the respect to "respect the other's opinion" is there, we'll be 'aight. Good chat, and hopefully you will fix more things around the forum with friend request cards! Ohoho! :lew:

7. CassinoChips: OMG. YOU CHANGED BACK TO YOUR OLD USERNAME. YOU MUST'VE TAKEN SOMEONE'S (SOMEONE VERY AWESOME) ADVICE. Now get in to the kitchen and make me a sandwich.

@Mistletoe - For being an entertaining LPer! I've watched a few of his series and he does a great job. Also a different genre every time, too! :sir:

@.Mosh - For being a fellow supporter of the XIII trilogy (or at least the first two games, lol). I'm always on the lookout for his posts in gaming threads 'cause I appreciate his more open-minded perspective. And now he does Gaming News Weekly, so yay! :yay:

@Yu Narukami - For being a great friend to talk to. Probably one of the first I made friends with here. I haven't seen him on FFF much as of late, but I enjoyed our convos together! I think he uploaded some Persona 4 Arena videos on YT recently... :ryan:

@applet - For causing a riot with many of her threads. She's quite a hilarious one and made many good laughs for me with her posts. xD;

@Kandy-Sugar - For being the very first to welcome me to FFF! I gave her a candy cane last year for the same reason, but it still stands. So thanks! :)

Didn't get to do this last year, so definitely making some time now.

@Six - For being a dedicated moderator. She also won’t take crap from me and will let me know, which always make the job interestingly difficult around here. Haha. Ah, she knows what I mean. Thankful for all her help and feedback when we need it - she's always on top of that. Glad to have gotten to know her as a person as well, for she’s one of those rare-to-find friends. Honest, real, and a really cool personality.

@Ilyena - Been a great help with the admin work, so a huge thanks for taking care of things, especially when I’m not around to help. I know she’s juggling with some crazy schedule too, but she still remains patient and sane, unlike a few of us! You members drive me insane sometimes. Got to know her a bit better on a personal level this year. We've got some catching up to do in the mommy department!

@Big Casino - One of the best GFX artist I know. Blunt and honest too, which I really like about him. Pretty much just says whatever's on his mind, and a lot of times it cracks me up. Lotsa great chats about Ireland... Or was it Scotland? Either way, once you get him talking about sites in Europe, he can't seem to control his side of the conversation. Good friend of mine, and I hope that next year life will be a lot smoother for him. He deserves it.

@Sterling Archer - (AKA Shu) Work came knocking one day, and he pretty much vanished for a long time. He recently came back though, so I take it that him pushing me out the door is a good sign. Here's to hoping anyway. We've all missed him. The site just isn't the same without him screwing up every once in awhile. Or you know, challenging some of our members and me face-palming in the background.

@Mikasa - Three words. "Korean eye candy." Lol. The only member I know who watches Korean drama. It's refreshing being able to discuss about Korean films/shows with someone, among other things. Great new member to have around -- I hope she sticks around. Grateful for her reviews as well. Excellent writer, and I find her views on different topics interesting.

@Pockets - Got to know him a bit better as well, and he's a really sound guy. It's funny, I think I've played a lot more with Jeff than I have with Kira, but it's always fun when gaming together (last game being FFXIV). Thankful for taking the time to moderate the community as well. I know it wasn't always easy.

@Galadín - Really cool member. Quite hilarious when we do happen to chat, which is pretty rare. So I don't know much about Gal yet, but maybe next year will be different. =]

@Mistletoe - Very laid-back, which is definitely a good thing. Probably one of the nicest mod I know. I appreciate his effort and bringing some of our gamers together. It's good to have a tight bond of gamers here, knowing they can always come to our site and have plenty of people like Greeny to play with. Just name the game.

@Fleur - Olivia is the evil person in me, the one who whispers in my ear and gives me horrible ideas for the site. She’s also very sweet too, despite the cunning demeanor. I do love reading what she has to post (especially the articles), even if it's the same old FFXIII / 2 / LR rants. Sorry FFXIII fans!

@Shenorai - Definitely glad she's back, even if her interest is mostly RP-based. We used to chat a lot back in the MSN days, along with Jay and others. Oh, and FF Trivia nights in the shoutbox. Fun times!

@Morgalodia - Haven't talked much to my old friend this year. I'm starting to miss him. The only member I've met in real life too. =]

@Belazor et Britannia - Even though he abuses me sometimes, I must give him credit for the technical help around here. Much appreciated. I recently found out he's not into coffee either, which is a shame...because I just totally installed java and he had no idea. (idk)

@Kirito He is probably one of my all time best friends even if I've never the bloke. I couldn't ask for a better friend and he is supportive and just generally interested in everything I like. This one goes to you bud :)

@Chanteru This girl is one of the loveliest people i've come to know on this forum. She is passionate and like me is a fellow lover of the XIII trilogy (so far haha) I love the input she brings to my work and she gives me the motivation to continue writing.

@Shacae I enjoyed his opinions on how to improve on ideas I had made and found the motivation he wanted to bring to the clans refreshing heres to you!

@Mitsuki So thoughtful, kind and a great leader for the forums. I have had the pleasure of a couple of conversations and she is just an all around lovely person.

@Galadín I do enjoy the chats I have with you! I miss you come back madam! She designed my lush Avatar and Sig and I couldn't ask for a great pair your a star!

@Mistletoe I enjoy all your lets plays, your funny, creative and a great person. Plus I have come to see you become a moderator and you do the position brilliantly

@Mitsuki KOREAN EYE CANDIES :jess: I'm glad to have found another Korean-drama watcher! I am also especially thankful that she contributed to the creation of this place, which has seemed to be a fun place to be. And also for the initiative that she has taken to message me and all, she was the first to drop a message on my profile wall too! And I probably would never realize anyone else here watched Korean dramas otherwise! :P That said, of course I will stick around! :lew:

@Izanagi Knew him more from the RP that we're currently in. And an Attack on Titan fan (which reminds me, Mits is as well, isn't she?!)? Instant candy cane reward! And also, Infernal Doge :D. Much fury, such scary, so kewl.

Candy Canes for everyone I can think of:

To Mistletoe: For being a top bloke. For all the times he's died, he always comes right back to help out with everybody!

To Vircon: Like quite a few members, was one of the first members to greet me in the Shoutbox. Really nice guy. Always up for a game or 600!

To Soulcorruptor: Loaned me 5k to pay for a cactuar. Always around and willing. to discuss!

To Big Casino: Made my siggie. Only really got to know the guy in the last few months... But I'm glad I did. Banters and never beats around the bush.

To Shacae: Ahhhhhh... he's decent. :D

I'll hit everybody else I've missed with mentions and silly canes later on.

@Chanteru - Lovely member all around. Pretty positive when it comes to any changes around here, or at least, very polite, considerate, and supportive. We've had some great chats, though I wish I could've gotten to know her a lot better this year. The times when we've played FFXIV together has been fun, though I was expecting that she'd be on a lot more often, what with the way she went on and on (and on) about FFXI and that 'six hours' is nothing in the world of FF online multiplayer. And to think she almost made me think twice about playing FFXIV in the first place! We'll have to see how long she lasts with the game. =P

@Kirito - Great guy overall. He tends to filter himself a bit, due to his considerate manner and quiet opinion on different topics, but Luke is definitely someone I've come to respect in such a short amount of time.

@.Mosh - Nice member I've come to know a bit more this year. Big thanks for helping me go through some rocky situation recently by offering advice and support. Or just being a great listener. Shows great care and concern for the forums, which is always nice to see.

@L - He's been around for ages, been there, done that. Funny guy, never fails to makes laugh when I happen to read one of his wacky posts. One of the few members who's been banned years ago, and came back to tell all about it!

@Starships - Just for sticking it out, really. We may not have spoken much this year, but it's great to see members discuss about the FF series still, even if the franchise isn't received well anymore with many. And for that I'm thankful for her and still being able to come here despite the great struggles in life.

@Aerolesque - Although we don't know each other very well, we've come to form a mutual respect for one another, due to his experiences as an admin (though he's a lot more versatile with forum boards in general) on another site.

@Vircon - One of our friendliest member here. Finally had a chance to play with him for the very first time (about time too) earlier. FFXIV. More to come, hopefully. Don't know much about Al, but I know he's pretty established in the shoutbox.

@Cookie McGee - We've had our little chats in the shoutbox here and there. =] Great member to have in here, and I appreciate that he normally gives feedback when we need it.

@iSmiff - I love the username. Quite possibly my favorite username in the forums, currently. Looking forward to more FFXIV gaming soon.

@Shacae - No idea how to pronounce the username anymore, but Shace has been a big supporter of our site and events. So big thanks to him for helping out when he can.
