Just seen that it's been made official that she's to start working on solo stuff. They insist it's not the end of Girls Aloud, but seriously.

She's already getting alot more attention than the other girls, this is just going to add to it, how long can you see them lasting now?

She's not even the best singer in the group. :|

I'm not suprised she's doing solo stuff though, it's like Nicole for the Pussycats Dolls (also the lead singer of a girl band) she started working on solo stuff though I don't know if it was released, but it tends to be that at some point or another the main person in the band will eventually do solo stuff at some point or another, so I'm not suprised. D:
 
I think as soon as someone says they are doing solo projects, its already sealed the fate of the group. I doubt I'd give a chuff about her music, she will probably try getting in with the likes of justin timberlake and all that rubbish

I think the only ones that could hold a solo career would be cheryl and the irish lassie maybe sarah harding aswell. If one of them leaves i cant really see the band sticking together tbh. On another note i really couldnt caree either :lol: its just one less annoying band being played less on the radio.
Also the irish one has the sexiest vpoice ever.

Sarah Harding is going to be acting soon, she's meant to be making a TV debut soon.


Also, I agree with Rikku's first sentance. Just ask Lionel Richie.

Well, they've been signed to do three more albums anyway, so Girls Aloud won't split up just yet.

Cheryl doesn't have the best voice in the group, and if it wasn't for the fact that she's the most media-exposed member of the group, she'd stick to Girls Aloud like glue.

Nadine's the only one with a strong-enough voice to make it solo anyway, in my opinion.

They should just learn from the Spice Girls, tbh. As a group, fantastically popular. As soloists...not so much.
 
She's obviously just after the publicity, to put a little more cash in her pocket so she can have some more plastic surgery and get that little bit closer to looking like she's a Barbie doll gone horribly wrong. I give her marriage to Ashley Cole two years at most, before they divorce and get a load more media publicity.

Actually, I'm going to disagree with you right there. Whilst the Spice Girls had limited success in their solo careers, there's one that did better than the others. And that's Melanie C, also known as Sporty Spice. She's had a few number one hits over here and still going strong as a solo artist now, although she only just had her baby earlier on in the year, mind you.

I think Cheryl will get success, partly because so many girls look up to her as a role model and she's very popular because of being in Girls Aloud and being a judge in the X Factor. But then she'll go back to Girls Aloud. They're a very successful group and they won't be splitting up anytime soon. Not because of Cheryl's solo ambitions, at least.
 
Well, well, well! What do you know? Cheryl's song is Fight For This Love. Quite good, actually. It's better than I would've thought. Might not be the best song she could produce, but it's certainly not the worst. Her vocals are decent enough, too. Should she perform this on X Factor, she's guaranteed to get a no. 1 because she's got a lot of fans just since she's on that show.
 
She's good looking and is married to a top flight footballer. That's propelled her most likely and that's why she's moving on to bigger things. Eventually it'll take over and I think the group will have to split up or at least have one less member.
The song doesn't exactly sound bad but it's 'another one of those songs'. *yawn* It's an X Factor type song so at least she'll know what to look for as judge on the show.
 
Just another person who will be producing a load of soppy love song shit, like every over mainstream moron atm. As for her husband... JUDAS.
