i completed the chocobo digging sidequest, went to the different places to dig like the underwater cove, the floating island, and eventually got chocobo paradise, but now im here, i feel i havent completed it?! is there something ive missed? ive gotten my beak to 100 ive got my chocobo to flying level is anything special supposed to happen afterwards or have i just let my expectations get too high? :P
 
Nah, that's your lot, althouth, have you dug in the sea and in certain mountain ranges? The areas you can dunk in the sea look like little bubbles and the moutaisn you can dig in have little cracks in them to identifythem

If you have done that then, you've covered it all xD

I felt abit gipped too, but it's a fun sidequest nontheless

heehee thanks i was so obsessed with that game i think i spent equal hours playing that side quest as i did completing the whole game it was definatly fun i think i did dig in the bubble area they may still be a few treasures left i havent found though and yeah i did find chocobo paradise and i thought my chocobo would go live there after i found it- but he didnt lol :P
 
Well, if you've found all the ones that you get from Chocographs, then you still need to go for the ones like cracks and whirlpools for more secret items. If you've done all that, defeat Ozma to completely finish the Chocobo Side-Quest.
 
wow where do i find ozma to beat him? i never encountered him before lol i sound like an amateur even though ive been playin this game for about 8 years lol
 
I'd have been pissed if my chocobo took of to live in the paradise after all that work I did to level him but, yeah, it sure seems like you've covered everything but hey! Wasn't it a fun trip?
 
it was a fun trip haha! and thankyou i shall have a mooch round the big rock do you have to be a certain level or at a certain part of the game or does he just appear whenever?
 
just search the rock and an exclamation or question mark will appear.. that's ozma.. and be sure to be prepared for the battle.. but before that.. have you found all the "friendly monsters".. that's what i call them.. example of those monsters is a color green yeti.. if you are using melee range characters, you need to find them first..

here's a list just in case:
white ghost-plains around treno
lady bug-forest around black mage village
green yeti-big forest near madain sari
green nymph-forest near lifa tree
purple jabberwock-forest east of oeilvert
green feather circle-lost continent
garuda-plateau above gizamaluke's grotto, search the forest
yan-a forest on vile island

hmm.. i think there's one missing...
 
yeah i missed a few of them im going to re-start the game anyway so ill be sure to get them all this time thankyou for your help ;)
 
oh really i thought you could only get them at certqain times during the game thanks for the heads up! as i really didnt want to have to go through all that leveling up again phew! :P

You can

Just be careful of the non friendly Yans, they will hand you your arse, when you're on that island SAVE straight away
