Cloud vs Zidane

Zidane. Cloud isn't very good in my opinion and who can't be awesome when they have a tail?
 
I'd have to go with Zidane--it's not about the strongest necessarily, but the fastest--and with Zidane's energy and lighter weapons, Cloud would have to get in a lucky hit to win.

Though I doubt Zidane would get into a fight with Cloud, as they might be friends...

Cloud, because he is the best :P, lol. <--- Always the common answer.
I choose Cloud because of his big sword. Cloud could cut his tail >:O no awesomes then xD. Cloud is a good figther, he could use haste and all other tools and magic > : O. His sword pwns.

Age. Power. Strength. Emotions. Friends. Determination. Jenova's Cells. Speed. Coolness factor. Weapons.

Debating with the speed of Zidane - did you not see the fight with Sephiroth in AC?
 
Sephiroth Gene summed it up for me. Adding onto the power Cloud displayed in Advent Children, I think you should also consider the kind of weapon(s) that he wields. It's heavy, I'm very sure, yet Cloud wields it with such speed that he could fend against Yazoo, Kadaj, and Loz; deflecting bullets, overcoming muscle, and parrying Kadaj's swift snake-deadly strikes. He even matched against Sephiroth, who, much to fans' delight, put up a good show with super-human speed, altered the forecast, and swung his masamune like a god.

So, uhh. . . .Cloud FTW?

To be honest, I kinda felt the action scenes in AC, while amazing, were bullshit. I mean, Cloud gets a point-blank shot to his forehead and all he gets is a trickle of blood and broken sunglasses?! For some reason, I just cannot accept AC's super-versions of the cast when it comes to fighting just yet. To me, the most realistic fight in AC was Tifa vs. Loz, but even then, that's stretching it a bit. :lol:

However, we'll never know how fast Cloud and Zidane are, until FFIX gets it's own movie, which may never happen. ;D Still, I don't think Cloud could have outrun the batshit Iifa tree or the Evil Forest as Zidane did.

Just my opinion though.
 
Cloud of course, he's an Ex-Soldier, he's trained to fight, and with the Jenova's Cells, he is better than all, whereas Zidane is to childish, he can't win on a 1 on 1 match -_-, look in FF7 AC, Cloud killed Sephiroth, if he can kill Sephiroth, nobody can beat him ... especially Zidane.
 
Cloud would kick zidanes butt. i mean all he has to do is use a limit break like omnislash or even climhazzard.

Zidane can run circles around Cloud and If you want to flame me shove it cuz I`m not in the mood for it.look Zidane has TON`s of limits and cloud has four and Forget about the movie that gives Cloud an Unfair advantage which you guys have taken Abuse of. Zidane is alot faster Than Cloud and Has more strength so that`s my reason why Zidane is better than CLoud and like I said you wanna flame you can shove it
 
Wow. Calm down there, don't tell people to "shove it" before they've even said anything. That's extremely rude. Although, your opinion is nice, speed does not necessarily win over strength. If Cloud could parry all of Zidane's blows, he COULD still win if he unleashed a limit or two...I'm not sure, I couldn't decide, so I went with Cloudy. xD You were also capitilizing some words that shouldn't be, and didn't have alot of punctuation, so it was somewhat difficult to read your post. Sorry. ^_^;;;
