So I was thinking to myself, which I barely ever do, "how many cups of coffee do I drink a day".. Then I was thinking "well that can't be good." I'm up to 2-5 large cups of coffee. I like my coffee like.. (no I won't say it), I just prefer dark coffee with 2 packets of sugar. I can't drink milk and/or creamer that well, due to stomach issues with it.

I hate starbucks, and everything they make. I am a huge keurig coffee fan. It's basically a shot of coffee (1-2 cups and tastes the most robust in terms of flavor). Hazel Nut is always my favorite along with Dunkin Donuts brand.

Of course my major weakness is straight espresso.

I do like an occasional energy drink, but only the little 5 hours get the job done. Redbull is shit for making me stay up and focus.

What about you? What do prefer and why?

I looooooove coffeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to drink heaps of it, at least 4 cups a day but I have toned it down a bit to 2 - 3 times. I can drink coffee from almost any coffee shop, I don't think I am a coffee connoisseur so I am not so fussy with the taste. My favourite type is the latte /smug

2 sugars and milk is the only way to drink it :mokken: and at home when I make myself an instant one I like to dunk a couple of coffee biscuits into it :ari: it is so yum!

I also quite like hot chocolates when I am not in the mood for coffee :hmmm:

I don't like Tea but I quite like coffee.
I have my coffee black and extremely strong. I normally put about three or four teaspoons in if I'm having shithouse instant coffee, but I normally drink that gourmet coffee, like Quentin Tarantino's character in Pulp Fiction, though I am a slightly better actor than he is. The only thing about coffee that I dislike is that you need boiling water to make it, and I don't like drinks if they're hot. But I man the fuck up and drink it anyway.
I drink energy drinks when I'm tired, I'll normally have about four a night if I'm staying up all night to do work, so that's 2 litres.

I like sweet tea and flavored coffee. I haven't had the need to rely on coffee enough to drink it black. I particularly love raspberry and blueberry sweet teas, and any form of machiatto or mocha coffee. I don't drink either very often. It's more like a once in a while treat. As for energy drinks, I don't really care for them. I've sipped them, but they're too strong and sweet for me, and give me headaches.

I used to ride for rockstar energy. i had one can and could not drink the crap.. made me dizzy. needless to say when i was dropped from the team i did not make a big deal. personally i try to stay away from high sugar drinks. occasionally i do have a cup of coffee or kick up a redbull (need my wings)

regularly i drink powerade, water and green tea.

I used to enjoy decaff coffee with milk, but stopped drinking it after Uni. :hmmm: Coffee from Starbucks, costa and nero is often too strong. ;) I do, however, still enjoy the odd mocha. Iced coffee from the supermarket is also very nice...though I try my best to resist it. :wacky: I also used to have coffee with sugarfree hazelnut syrup...which once made the milk curdle. Needless to say, I haven't had it since. :lew:

I've never been fond of fizzy drinks and tend to avoid drinks which contain sugar and sweetners, so my only vice really is tea, which I have 2 - 5 times a day with soya milk and no sugar. I love strong tea, but not stewed tea! :lew:

I switch to decaff tea after about 6, which I suppose isn't so bad. :hmmm: Apparently, the amount of caffeine in tea increases if you leave the bag in longer. I squeeze mine and remove it quickly, but I am guessing that I squeeze out the caffeine as well. :wacky:

For some reason I only drink coffee/cappucino at work, never at home.
2-4 cups a day from a vending machine -__-

Occassionaly Red Bull to waken me up.

I love coffee though I only have to seem it rarely. About maybe once every few days a week.

I seem to not have a one track mind and be all over the place. So if I'm craving for a drink, 90 % of the time I forget about it.

With work and life and all the other distractions, two or three drinks of Coffee seems very unlikely.
:sad3:

Plus I was only allowed to start drinking caffeine drinks last year. Until I was eighteen, coffee was not allowed to be drunk because it's a "adult drink ". :hmph:

Coffee is so yum :inlove:

I prefer coffee myself. It doesn't matter if it's flavored or plain, I'll still drink it. I make mine on the milder side by adding extra water in the coffee maker or less coffee. I can't drink my coffee without creamer though. I put two half and half's in my cups at work...and when I'm at home I only use the original coffeemate coffee creamer. My favorite coffee flavors are hazelnut, caramel, cinnamon swirl, vanilla, and this awesome rum flavored coffee that I pick up.

Tea is just okay for me. I'll drink Lipton's lemon iced tea here and there, but I will not drink hot tea because I think it's pretty nasty :(

Energy drinks are....not very good for you. They say all of the sugar in them will make your dentist wish you were drinking soda instead of them. Plus with the influx of type 2 diabetes here in the states, we really don't need them :wacky: I'll just stick to my coffee instead.

I rarely drink coffee, but when I do I just go to Starbucks. For one, because they have good coffee, and two because they openly encourage their customers to open carry their handguns while at their restaurants/cafes, which is always a good thing.

Im a tea drinker, though ive taken to drinking coffee because for some reason, the tea tastes vile at work, i dunno if its the milk, the water or a combination of both, but I cant drink a tea while im there, and i rarely have time for a brew before leaving for work, so its not often i get a good cup of tea down me these days ):

I tend to have 2 or 3 coffees a day, mostly just to pass the time

tom doesnt drink tea or coffee, i find that strange

I actually really despise coffee and tea. Ive tried them at least 4 times each and just cant drink either one.

Sweet tea is alright.

But my weakness is milk. Any kind. But normally I drink skim milk due to trying to get back in shape.

All time favorite tasting thing though is just plain Coca Cola. But sadly, since trying to get in shape, none of that is allowed. So pretty much water and skim milk.

I hate coffee, tea and energy drinks. I have tried most coffees, teas and energy drinks once or twice but could never get used to the taste. >.< I do love the smell of coffee though which is wierd considering smell is how you taste. :hmmm:

Anyway, I mainly drink juice, chocolate milk and soft drink, though these days, I've crossed out soft drink all together unless I'm drinking alcohol (which I hardly do anymore) and I only really drink water. I really don't want diabetes, bad teeth or to get fat. :hmmm:

I'm not one of those people who needs some sort of energy drink to keep me going. A shower wakes me up in the morning and as long as I have a full tummy during the day I'm fine.

Yeah energy drinks are terrible for you. Cardiovascular side effects can occur from them and like you said, the risk of diabetes is not good. Diabetes is seriously one of the worst disease anyone can get.

I usually drink water throughout the day - very plain && simple. At home, I usually brew a cup of green tea before bedtime (sometimes in the morning if I have time before catching the bus).

I like coffee, but not so much... I prefer hot chocolate with hazelnut flavor - especially during the colder seasons~ :3

i'm a coffee drinker, but i don't drink it all that much. i only usually drink it when i'm in town and walking past costa. i work above a costa, so you would think i'd go there all the time but i hardly ever do.

i always get a latte from costa, usually a cinnamon one or hazelnut. they're the shit

Can't stand the taste of coffee at all. I've tried on numerous occasions to try and get my taste buds used to it, to no avail. Even slight variations from Starbucks... meh. I don't drink tea often, I used to have one or two cups when I was a kid through to my early teas. Now I only tend to have a cuppa when I'm sick or have a sore throat. Energy drinks aren't my thing, either. Don't need 'em.

I hate the smell of coffee, and the taste of it as well. I never even bothered trying anything like capuchinos or anything along the likes, 'cause the smell of coffee just puts me off. It's hard to 'try' something - if the smell is... ...yeah. I tried coffee before though, do not like it.

Tea I do like (hot tea, that is), I usually drink it with two sugars, if I drink it. Or I'll throw the occasional bit of milk in there.

I'm more of a soda lover myself. I do not get hyper from it, so it's what I tend to drink at night as well. Coke ftw. ♥

I'm not really a coffee person or an energy drink, but I do drink it occasionally especially on those long cars trips (last year my family drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, then Las Vegas to Sacramento. I was really tired but want to keep myself awake so I bought cans of Red Bull and a large espresso).

As for tea, I like Lipton tea but that's it.

I love coffee, I'm an absolute coffee addict. The whole addiction started when I was attending FDU. My room mate and I would make periodical midnight runs to the 24-hour CVS like two blocks from the campus. We would pick up milk and then on our way back to the campus we'd purchase Dunkin Donuts coffee. If we were too broke to afford that (and we often were, as most struggling college students usually are) then we would normally drink coffee at the dining hall because of our free meal plans. Privileges.

But yeah I normally have to at least consume one cup of coffee in the mornings to function. And yes, I've crashed and it's not fun. Ah memories. Anyway, I usually take milk and four sugar packets.

I love tea as well. I usually drink it before bedtime. Jamaicans are ritualistic tea drinkers. It's an absolute fact. :mokken: I drink tea with everyone in my family: my parents, my grandparents, etc. Usually my grandparents and parents drink their tea with biscuits. As for myself? I drink tea with whatever: some biscuits, toasted bread and butter, what ever else I feel like consuming. Again, milk and sugar are necessary additives for my tea.

I hate energy drinks. They all taste like piss. They never work for me. I've tried Red Bull and that's as much as I'll try. I think Monster and those five-hour energy shots are nasty. They sound nasty and anything with taurine in it instantly makes me dubious.
