Confused About the title...plz clarify

So why is the word 'versus' in the title? why not just call it ''Final Fantasy XIII''? Sorry but im alil slow if its obvious for you other folks. Can anyone tell me anything about this game? Whats it gonna be like?

Versus XIII is another action type PS3 game, i think....

well what i think is that "versus" has something to do ith the 2 games. most likely the ending of one of the games is that the female main or the male main will warp to the other world or something.

If you noticed FF XIII is using Latin, you probably know it. In English, the word "versus" means "To oppose or to fight", but in Latin it means a "Different direction."

FF XIII series only shares a common mythology, the crystals. The time-line and the worlds are supposedly different. In addition, FF Haeresis XIII has been copyrighted by SE for a while.
