i would take devil may cry mainly on the humour basis basically dante is funny and thats why i like it also the aspect of killing devils
 
i say devil may cry because it was harder than god of wars god mode (DMd ftw)
and the music was alot better
 
DMC hands down i like the combat and characters better.
this is one of my fav series of games
 
Goddamnit, i'm playing DMC3 right now! I mean this very second. As I post but God Of War gets major points for the sheer level of violence I don't know which to chose! :confused:
 
Devil may cry rocks my socks off
there is humor guns,swords and enemys what do you need more

I have god of war I
but sometimes I wished I had Dante with me
 
They're both kick ass games, with good amounts of blood shed and carnage but............DMC has Dante %D

Dante FTW.
 
I will have to say Devil May Cry cause I have never played God of war but I love DMC 3 since I already beat it but I am kinda stuck on lvl 9 on Heaven or hell mode.Still Dante is a really cool character and he is kinda funny.^_^

I think what you meant to say was "God of war is way more bloodier than Devil May Cry".But other than that it might be true about the blood part cause I just say a vid on youtube and it looks like God of war has more blood in it.But DMC is kinda more fun than God of war(From my point of view).

Anyways, while DMC is in itself a great game. It doesn't even hold a candle to God of War. Strictly my opinion though.
 
I Pick Devil May Crydue to the design,i like the gothic rock style the games have.though that could be an unfair voting on my behalf,i havent played God of war till recently and im only a few hours inot that and it is a brilliant game.
 
The areas explored in God of War also fascinated me far more than Devil May Cry. I mean come on, and ancient temple latched to the back of a titan doomed to wander the desert of lost souls until the very skin is ripped from his flesh? Hard to get much cooler than that.
 
I've not played Devil May Cry, but the second one is notorious for being awful. God of War, on the other hand, has no such blemish to its name.

So...God of War. Kratos > Dante, anyway...
 
Having played both games, I can't exactly say who is cooler. Dante is definitely kick-ass...but I still give the edge to Kratos.
 
Dante's just another pretty boy with silver, spikey hair. Give me a break.
Kratos is wearing the ashes of his murdered family.

No contest there.

devil may cry has more of a storyline than god of war
 
he sure is a pretty boy :blush:
but he has humor and always know something to say
and he is not shy to show a tear for the one he loves
Kratos is like Achilles only care's about them self and about the things the love nothing els
