Does anyone else find the victory poses difficult to watch?

When they beat a boss and the current party does something with their chosen weapon and then poses as the 'congratulations' flashes across the screen, with a slightly more cheesified version of the victory fanfare playing as this happens.

I have to be honest. I cringe. Every time. It's just made of cheese, it's so ridiculous.
 
No because was really grateful and was just really happy to see the Victory cheer because thought that they got rid of it/ wasn't going to use the victory theme cheer in FF12.

A Final Fantasy game without a victory cheer would be like a Plumber without his tools.
It just wouldn't work.

Kind of like how Vaan chucks his sword down and stands in front and puts his foot on the sword. Don't like Vaan at all. But sure do love his victory cheer pose =]
 
at first i was abit O_O when I first saw them, but just cuz I wasnt expecting it, the music's abit cheesy, but other than that, I quite like them, it just feels liek a nice little bonus for when you have just killed summat tough and I think yeah...I'm good for afew seconds xDD

Plus I like how Fran holds an arrow in her mouth, it's my favourite pose ever :monster:
 
I thought the victory poses were cute :wacky: A nice little throw-back to the other games in the series. And only seeing them after boss battles meant they weren't so repetitive, and they were just like, a reward for beating the boss for me really xD.
 
No...Not really. The sudden Pride you get for yourself is reassuring. Like after beating Yiazmat, it would feel pretty good knowing that once you save, you don't ever HAVE to do it again. It also gives you a chance to wipe your hands off if you get sweaty or your hands hurt from holding the controller for so long. So no. I don't hate it.
 
lol I actually kinda like it, I think it's pretty awesome myself. Of course I'm a big Final Fantasy XII fan I suppose, and the little victory cheer is just a little cool added bonus I guess you could say. It's pretty cool to watch them interact with their weapons, and the cheer of course if classic as always.

But either way I think it's pretty awesome ^^
 
I hate those poses. They're so corny and wierd. Like Fran's WTH is she doing with her bow?! They're not difficult to watch, just wierd.

Not sure how different it is depending ion the weapons, but if she has a bow equipped she will have an arrow in her mouth, it way my favourite one xD

They weren't spectacular by any means, it just gave the feeling of "mission accomplished" seeing as they aren't that much of a regular thing.

A nice touch.
 
I personally liked them a lot. Like, when I finally beat Yiazmat and Omega Mk. XII, the victory pose was like a sweet cherry on top of all that effort. I really found them amusing. I love how Balthier uses a handkerchief. It's funny. I really don't find the music cheesy. Like someone said, more like "mission accomplished".
 
i do agree with you on this one. i have always found the poses found in final fantasy to be a bit...eccentric. add a funny looking character such as Vaan and there you go.:)
 
They didn't really bother me too much. However, with that said, they didn't really wow me either. They were a nice little touch and they made me think to myself "Yeah, I rule" but I wouldn't cry if they were removed from the game.

Fran has a crossbow in that one. We were talking about her with a regular bow. I swear she steps into it of something.
 
I kinda liked them :) They always game me a sense of completion and all :) Fran's bow one was odd though... and Basch looked weird depending on his weapon too. I love when you give Penelo a pole, I don't know why... o_O
 
I enjoy after long battles. Especially when it's been absolutely dire. xD Made me laugh when I first saw it, it just added humour in my opinion. :-)
