The new trailer of Dragon Quest IX shown today at TGS 2008 was leaked online by a YouTube user who managed to record it at the show floor. The game looks like it's coming along great.

This looks pretty cool, I'll definitely pick this one up as well. I finally got Dragon Quest IV for the DS and so far so good, although I'm a little irked that it let you have the option of choosing whether you wish to be a hero or heroine in the game. I'm not too fond of games that are configured like that. But it's still pretty nice. I'm hoping this one is much better.

From what I can tell, it looks terrific for a DS title. The trailer doesn't really offer a whole lot of new information, it seems. Still, the game looks to have improved visually from the last trailer I saw.
