What kind of enemies do you hate in video games.

I HATE bats! I don't have such a problem with other flying enemies but bats just piss me off. i don't know if it is their flying pattern, but I have so much trouble avoiding them. And they are the one enemy that always has me screaming at the TV. I played Castlevania 1 earlier and OMG. Bats kept knocking me over the edge and killing me <.<

I also hate things that poison you. But it's really because I'm always too lazy to go into the menu and select the antidote to cure my characters. I'd rather just wait it out. But there are some games where the poison doesn't go away after a random battle <.<

LOL, I actually don't mind bats that much XD In all the games I've played anyway, they're pretty easily destroyed by fire, and they're not particularly voracious. Except in the Henne Mines in FFXII, that is--those guys are nasty :mokken:

The enemies I tend to hate are the ones that confuse you, and the ones that attack in large groups and are really fast, but particularly when both of those things are combined >_> I was playing Chrono Trigger the other day and was faced with four flower-monsters on the Mountain of Woe that rapidly confused all of my party members over and over and over again, I was like "are you serious?" >_> It took forever to get it to go away long enough for even one character to get a hit in, and my characters didn't even do any real damage to each other, so it was all just a huge waste of time :mokken:

I hate enemies that poison too. I really just don't like poison at all. I don't like wasting my time trying to heal it. One time, when I was like 12, I was playing pokemon, and someone poisoned one of my Pokemon but I didn't know that. So I thought because the screen would block up that it was broke and tried to fix it by blowing it out and then attempting to dig whatever was causing it out. Pretty sure that I broke the game trying to fix it.

I also hate things with shells in action games because the shell always protects whatever it is and you have to hit it a certain way to kill it.

On ff13 I really hate the seekers on Gran Pulse, they are not particularly strong just annoying when in a group of 3 or more. Confusion is a pain especially when facing a Marlboro. My all time most hated enemy has to be the sand people from ff12, can't remember there name but you know the ones from yensa sand sea.

That thing in Zelda: Phantom Hourglass where you have to shout into the microphone of the Nintendo DS in order to make it cover it's ears so that you can whop it with the sword. That shit is really hard to pull off while using public transportation without looking like a complete retard :rage:

Poison frustates me a lot. Especially when it continues after battle, and you're desperately running towards a Pokemon Center/Save Point/Healing Center when big red writing appears, informing you (Insert name here) has fainted/fell unconscious/died. -__-

Enemies that are resistant to almost everything annoy me too. :rage: When only one element does any damage to them, and only one of your characters can use it, and you haven't leveled them appropriately... :hmph:

Lastly, enemies that change their resistances every few turns or when you do enough damage. :gonk: There I am, doing wonderfully, and the enemy totally changes its move set to start pounding you into the ground. That is annoying -__-

I hate enemies that are hard to hit, like in FF when they avoid your attack but also monsters in devil may cry 3, the fallen angels. they constantly fly away, sometimes hide in the walls and it's really hard to hit them since they also float in the sky and wield their blade in circles around them.

Perfect example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWj6XRQupOg it starts around 1:20

And in devil may cry 4 infected assaults.. ,they keep on attacking and dont give you much time to hit them. (unless you use a cheap way)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiVHXlFAM_I Here they are starting at 3:30
Too bad you cant really see them attack as Nero stays away in this vid.

1) Anything that stops me from attacking. Whether it be through sleep, paralysis, confusion or flinching, it REALLY irritates me when I get interrupted. Its cheating. I can't often do the same to them.
2) Anything that can use Curse. Although that is Last Remnant specific - if you've played the game, you'll know what I'm talking about.
3) Runners. These usually either steal something valuable from you before fleeing, or have an insanely high experience rate. Either way, its irritating.
4) Enemies that suicide when near death, through explosions or whatever. They do insanely high amounts of damage and...urgh, its CHEAP!
5) Dragons. Because dragons almost always mean the battle is going to last for a very long time.

anything that uses status affects on me really pecks my head, specifically confuse.

Enemies you can only hurt with magic, or the physical attacks on them just stink, so you have to use magic.

Enemies that absorb/are resistant to certain magic, you can guarantee I will have a lightning based weapon on summat that fucking absorbs it. Such is my luck

Enemies that shoot small, 3-pixel lasers at you. Then if the laser you can barely see hits you, you lose.

Enemies that have to be smashed multiple times before they die...

Enemies that psychotically morph into something else.
