Since everyone here has obviously played at least one RPG, I was wondering how many of you have also played Fable or it's follow-up The Lost Chapters. Both of these are good, and while not up to the standard of FF, they are certainly worth playing.

I had just found out there was a "Lost Chapters" about two days ago. I decided to replay Fable, it's really fun even now, like the fifth time. I'm stuck trying to get Skorm's bow. I'm pissed cuz I just cant get it. But I was wondering if the lost chapters were any good? And if its on X-box or just PC.

I really liked Fable, I thought it was better then Morrowind in my opinion. I like open ended RPGs, but I just didn't like Morrowind. Sometimes I need more direction in a game I guess :P

The Lost Chapters is really good, and yes its on both X-box and PC.

To me this game was the biggest dissappoint of all games. I am even apalled that Peter Molyneux was at the RPG Roundtable. He had no right being there.

I only hope that Fable 2 will deliver what has been left out of 1.

I was satisfied with this game. It was fun to play. I haven't played the Lost Chapters, though

I LOVE Fable: The Lost Chapters. While I agree that much of the planned content being absent for the final product was a disappointment, I view Fable as one of the best titles to grace the Xbox.

The story is fantastic--as is the visuals, level of customization, combat-system, and overall appeal. It's a shame the game wasn't longer...and more difficult.

I've played both FF 7 and Fable. I'm sure this'll make many here want to tear my head off, but I enjoyed Fable exponentially more than FF 7. XD

Fable: The Lost Chapters is the best game to grace the Xbox console. It's just so damn...charming.

I am so incredibly thankful that people recommended this game to me, It never gets old, it just never gets old. I've played through it 4 times already and I'm itching to do it again...OH, I can't. That's right...BECAUSE MY DAMN 360 DIED ON ME.

:sad2:

Deffinatly if that game was on the PS2 id have no reason for wanting an XBOX

At the moment, Gears of War would be the only thing keeping me on my Xbox if Fable got transferred to the Playstation 2.

Back in the day when I didn't have Gears of War, I also would have no reason for playing my Xbox if Fable wasn't around.

Just hearing a theme from Fable's soundtrack can submerge me in hours of the game...even after playing it for well over 600 hours already. Lots of Fable...

Fable was a great game, but it wasn't what they'd said it would be, leaving everyone a little dissapointed. The Lost Chapters was also good, but it would've been better if you could continue from your original saved game, and it could've been longer, there are RpG's that are a lot better than this IMO, but overall it is a classic in regards to most of its gameplay.

The Lost Chapters added a good 5 or so hours of gameplay to what the original Fable offered. There's no denying that the game is too short, though. Too short and too easy...

The final boss left a lot to be desired. I was hoping that would be fixed with Lost Chapters, but that wasn't the case...

I did not like the way that your character turned out the same each u played through in stats i mean when it begins it shows u him deciding what to be archer, warrior ect but your bound to get the best sword, magic and armour and all stats will be maxed anyway so it felt a little too easy for me and the evil character looked stupd with the horns and going bold. i mean it is a decent game don't get me wrong i thought it was great just hope they make up for the flaws in fable 2. lost chapters did not add much but it only cost £20 so it was not all bad.

it is definitely up there below final fantasy as my favorite RPG of all time. like many have already said, the open-endedness of the game is certainly awesome, and the right to choose who (or what) you end up as at the end is a nice touch. I go for the evil, horned being...I dunno. somehow killing anyone in your path just seemed fun for me :|
