Hmm, not really sure what places are available to you yet, but try going to the Lhusu mines. You can chain some skull warriors there and really, that's the trick of it...do lots of chains, gain loots, and sell them.
That's the thing, there aren't really any places for fast money. There are plenty of places to get money, but it requires a lot of chaining. Any area that has plenty of the same type of enemy will do nicely.
I don't remember if you would have the Sandseas available to you yet, but when (or if) you do, that's a good location as well. Just about every enemy in the scaffolds there is of the same type, and fairly easy to chain together.
