Well there are 6 amazing SW films so Which ones your favorite?

Most people rave about how great TESB is the greatest one - i think My favorite SW film is either RoTS or TESB, mainly because they PWn the most ^_^

Sucky opening post i know but im too tired to type more so ill add more later.

i found revenge of the sith the best cause it has more action and better battles :)
of course empire strikes back is my second fav :)

I really enjoyed the Return of the Jedi above the others. And although the Clone Wars got a horrid reaction, I quite liked it. Same for the the Return of the Sith... I just didn't like how Dooku was killed off so quickly.

The climactic battle of Darth Vader vs Luke, and the fall of the almighty Empire. A better film by far.

I really enjoyed the first 3 films, my fave would have to be TESB. With so much happening how could any of the others compare and with the plot twists and everything

The new 3 were just disapointing, lolz i would go into why and everything but i think i would get a big flaming :P

I still like A New Hope best, just a great introduction to all the characters like Han Solo, and it's the one that started it all. Obviously The Empire Strikes Back is excellent too, and one of the best sequels ever, but A New Hope still edges it for me.

As for the prequels, there is a good film somewhere amongst them, it's just buried in a lot of stuff that could have so easily been disposed with or improved (any of the romanctic scenes between Anakin and Padme, Jar-Jar
,the use of the word 'younglings'..., the whole of The Phantom Menace)

I think I'm one of the few people who were brought up on the original trilogy and actually finds The Phantom Menace to be an ok film, I prefer it to Revenge Of The Sith anyway.

On topic: Empire Strikes Back for me, the Hoth battle's still one of my favourite cinema moments in general. The other two originals are also fab but T.E.S.B. is numero uno.

You know ive never actually understood why People hate TPM and AoTC - TPM had the best lightsaber fight in the whole series - darth maul VS qui-gon & Obi-wan - and AoTC had YODA pick up a lightsaber!!! that was the highlight of the film for me ^_^

Of course though nothing Beats TESB and Darth Vaders very-famous-confession

Im very tempted to vote for TESB.....But The Gold Bikini is luring me to vote For RoTJ even though
Yoda dies in it

im still not sure.......

Well the reasons I dislike the news ones espcialy the last of them is because
One dream of Padme dieing and one speach and he changes, because if he had helped and killed the main evil guy. Then at the end he kills Padme, but people say he was to far turned at that point but that was the whole point of him turning to save her. so if he just helped samuel jackson(can't remember his name)
the other three films would not of been needed. My main dislike is just how bad the story was. I was hoping for something so much better but to me it turned out so badly. well anyway i've got to admit that i agree with nearly everything madox says on this movie.

I didn't really like the prequels all that much either. They seemed like they were just a special effects show. And the cheesy romance didn't help it either. "I don't like sand..." I mean seriously.

Return of the Jedi was alright, but even that one wasn't as good as the original two. The ewoks kind of brought that one down.

my favorite is the empire strickes back, darth vador has a big role in that and it starts and ends brilliantly.

the new movies just don't do it for me, they are fine and all, but you can't beat the classics. plus, in the new ones the technology seems to be a lot more advanced then in the final three (4,5,6) i know why this is, special effects can now easily be done where in the past it couldn't but an inconsistantcy none the less

The Empire Strikes Back will always be my favorite.

This is how my order goes:
Episode 5
Episode 6
Episode 4
Episode 3
Episode 2
Episode 1

Star Wars and Empire are two of the best movies of all time, they never get old and even when compared to the many cgi infused films of today still stand out as they are fun to watch and are actually good since it relies on characters rather than just the effects. RotJ could be considered a complete classic if it was a Wookie and not Ewok plane that it was based on.

Phantom Menace was soul destroying as the anticipation was that great and to be introduced to podracing, midichlorians, Jake Lloyd and Jar Jar Binks was like being kicked in the balls. Clones I lowered my expectations so it wasn't as disappointing as Menace but the love scenes between Anakin and Amidala (You're softer than sand my darling) were among the most painful in recent history and just showed that Lucas can't write for shit.

Sith I was caught in the hype and the promises and the expectation was raised again and how it was at the level of Empire (my fault for believing media hype) and I went with an open mind and I was crushed, Clones may be the worse film of the two but Sith just disappointed me so much more.

But all three of the prequels sucked ass and the kick original trilogy kicked ass, no arguments.

Return of the Jedi is probably my favorite but not by much. I love all of them but I have to agree that the prequel trilogy was written badly to the point where I either watch the first half of Revenge of the Sith and then turn it off or I mute the second half until the fight between Anakin/Vader and Obi-wan starts.

I only ever watch the new films for the fight scenes now. The story just isn't as compelling.

Although I must say, I'd watch more of Return of the Sith than the other two. All scenes with Dooku in Episode II pwn that film in the face. It's only worth watching for that guy...

TESB is the best in the list, but you should have put an option for the clone wars, as there better than all the movies
