Favourite FF Weapon Names

What weapon name from the final fantasy series did you find the best? Which ones did you find particularly inspiring, or badass. There are quite a few; I've found, that when I receive them I just /have/ to try them out.

A few of the ones I like personally are;

The Brotherhood from final fantasy X. The name just fits the sword perfectly, really a weapon I was sad to de-equip.

Save the Queen; Another name I just find particularly badass.


What about yours?
 
Well, those aren't that much original to the FF series, but: Excalibur, Masamune, Murasame (not sure about spelling). I always find them useful and they have cool name.

Some other weapons which appear a lot and I started to like them, are: Rising Sun, Cat Claw, BoardSword.

Premium Heart -FF VII-
Apocolypse -FF VII- if that's how it's spelled.

I really liked Tiger Fang, and God's Hand to (FF VII) for some reason.
 
Let's see here xD

Mage Masher - Dagger -> I liked it because I'm really into melee/hand-to-hand fighting and to think that a dagger with the power to destroy the use of magic existed? Amazing.
Masamune - Traditionally a Katana but usually called a sword -> I liked it because it's just such a powerful piece of equipment for something that looks like it could break if it collides with an axe.
Murasame - Katana - I liked it because people usually get it mixed up with the Masamune, and I enjoy laughing at them =)
Defender - Two-Handed Sword -> I liked it because of the name it's been given. It's a big sword that can act as somewhat of a shield, and it meant to be carried by those who protect others.
Ragnarok - Sword -> I liked it because it symbolises the end. In FFI, you get this sword after beating Shinryu <.< Shinryu's meant to be the meanest dragon in the entire universe. You beat that guy, the end boss might as well just go home.
Deathbringer - Sword -> I first saw this sword on FFIV and I instantly fell in love with it. I soon after cried because he turns into a Paladin T-T (Had a lot of leveling with this sword xD) Also, in FFXII, I found out how to get this sword, and I never regretted the process xD

Organics - FFVII - COME ON!!! How badass does this sword look?!!
Heaven's Cloud - FFVII - Probably the most basic, but good looking sword on the list. Well, not as basic as the lower leveled swords, but of the higher leveled ones xD
Mop - FFVII - <.< Serious? It's a MOP!!!
Venus Gospel - FFVII - If I had this in my possesion, I would TOTALLY carry it around everywhere! The design is just so amazing, and it's sleak...
Punishment - FFVIII - That Gunblade looks badass =)
Harpoon - FFVIII - Ward (big guy in Laguna's party) carries this as his weapon. Anyone who can use a Harpoon like THAT as a weapon <.< That's godly xD
Orichalcon Daggers - FFIX - Best pair of daggers I've seen in ANY of the FF games.
Siren's Flute - FFIX - Simple design for a Instrumental weapon that's named after a Summon.
Blood Sword - FFIX - To think that a man of Steiner's status would cross the line of good to use such an evil sword. It's kind of a good feeling xD
Oak Staff - FFIX - Have you seen this Staff?!! Need I say more?
Obelisk - FFIX - Best spear in the game, in my opinion. The design of it is very stylish, and goes with the fact that the name resembles the stone.

Masamune has always been a classic and a personal favorite of mine.

But I like it mainly because of the importance of the Masamune in Chrono Trigger, and how it was actually a character (2 to be exact). That backstory with Frog is just awesome. ^^

On the other hand, Auron's Masamune as got to be the shittiest looking sword in the series, especially for an ultimate weapon... sigh..

Im the guy who likes the name of FF10s weapons like
Caladbolg(or as i say Galagbold,it just sounds better)
Nirvana
World Champion(lol)....its a freakin blitzball
Masamune(not so much the name just the physical look of it

Or from FF7
Max Ray
Rocket punch
Ragnarok
God Hand(maximum accuracy sweet)

Some other Ilike are Zidane's Ultima Weapon and.....well many more
just on A side note Iactually own the BUSTER SWORD

 
I made it! lol! no i brought it online on ebay but be careful if you get one it wiegh like 7 kg but thats a problem fo someone as strong as me my strength is like 255 lol
 
I really like the names of Rinoa's weapons despite not really liking the character. xD

Valkyrie in particular. I'm fascinated by the gods and stuff so this one really appeals to me.

Conformer I like too. from FFVII.

I quite like Nirvane (FFX) and Onion Knight (FFX) ... and the Artemis Bow in FFXII.

My favourite by far, though, has got to be Strange Vision (Selphie FFVIII) The name of it just awesome. xDDD So random sounding. 8F

i liked the wyrmhero blade the tounesol zodiak first tsuragi buster sword oh and the gunblade revolver and lionheart one of the bestttt
 
Hmmm, I suppose that I like the Masamune the best, although virtually every combination of the Save the Queen is pretty damn sweet.

MOD EDIT: Could you put a bit more effort into your posts please? Two words can be considered as spam. :)

TMOO EDIT: in FFVII, once you reach Wutai there is an old man outside of a house, i don't recall the requirements but i got the Yoshiyuki (a katana) from him on my first playthrough, and it's stats were one of the best i had yet at that point. It became my icon weapon for FFVII.

i'm going to have to adjust myself to this forum somewhat, my post style is always geared to be simplistic when i'm not explaining things...

Oooh I have to say, my favourite is definitely the Caladbolg 8F Not because it's great or anything but because of the amount of crap you have to go through and it just makes it all worth it :)
 
My favorite weapon is Lionheart from VIII, it's awesome. coo and strong. I also like Cloud Tsurugi from AC movie, I mean come on that thing is a freaking robot!!
