How is it that I have not known about this? I was just browsing Youtube and listening to some Final Fantasy Piano Collections tracks when the suggested videos brought up a track from "FF Violins"--apparently albums based on the same idea as the Piano Collections, only primarily featuring strings with other instruments thrown to augment the tone. The results are pretty amazing, so I thought I'd share it in case someone else around here missed the existence of these great albums!

Here's my personal favorites, but many more are out there:

Final Fantasy Theme:

FFIV - Theme of Love:

FFVI - Battle Theme:

FFXIII - The Promise:

Hope you enjoy :yay:

LukeLC Oh my, fantastic find!!! :yay: (You are awesome! :))

The battle theme for FFVI is absolutely amazing. I love the arrangement and use of a rather gentle backing track with a truly incredible, vibrant violin part. :)

Force Your Way is also quite fun. :lew: Quite jazzy in places. I can imagine chill-rocking (my coined word for what the Black Mages do) whilst playing that.

Rose of May, from the third Violin set, is so beautiful! I must learn this on the piano... :hmmm:

XIII-2's Dash sweeps in with style!

And the violins bring another dimension to Theme of Love. It's played with such emotion!

Thanks for the link to Theme of Love, Liana! All I could find previously was the low-quality version linked to in the first post.

Found another great one from FF Violin II! "Sight of Spira"
