I couldn't believe that they announced FFi for the PSP. I am torn if to get it because it is redone better than the FF1 remake for GBA or not because it is suppose to cost 40.00. Let me know what you think.

i say wait a few months until the prices drop down. that way youve heard reviews from people that did buy it and the price will be cheaper :) and thats always a good thing

Well, if you have it for another system and it works fine, then I wouldn't buy it. Spend the money on another game. :)

OK, I still play my NES version of FF1, and the only thing they will improve will be graphics and a few things that dosen't really matter. If you don't have FF1 for any system, get it,if you do, don't get it. it is a waste of money.

This is news to me! Im happy they are releasing a Final Fantasy for the PSP. But I already own FF1, if its a remake like FF3 was, then I may consider it.

I won't get it just becuase of the advanced graphics and stuff, but maybe if there is a more in depth storyline, new bosses and items I might consider it.

i would buy it only if they did not add any more junk to it like new bosses or remove any old bosses, to me that just ruins a game. especially one as good as FF!

..It's not going to be that different compared to other versions. Either buy a DS/GBA, as you can Origins (1+2) for a decent price. The consoles themselves are worth more, as you can get a lot of future titles for the DS. Only a couple so far PSP, like CC, and FFTactics2, if I'm right.

I would rather stick with my copy od DoS for the GBA. Why? Because it was already re-done with slightly better graphics, and it comes with FFII. Plus it already has a super long bonus dungeon(s). Nah, forget it. AND my PSP is in real bad condition, my DS looks almost new. Perhaps if I decide to buy another PSP (for what reason is beyond me, because the DS is all I need), then maybe I'd consider this.

Something tells me that they might throw in another stupid thing (like WiFi mognet, oh joy ). If it was a battle thing, parties against parties, and they have things like level 1-10s, 11's-20's and so on, then it might be alright. But another mognet? Get be a bucket.

EDIT: Judge Rulia, please tell me that CC stands for Chrono Cross.

Oh, I completely forget about that game..

Damn.. If Chrono Cross would come to the PSP (or even Chrono Trigger), then I'd for sure buy a new PSP.

Does ne1 know when its coming out
19th of April in Japan (sweet, on it's my birthday )
Somewhere in June in the USA.

Some fans planned a remake of Chrno Trigger once:

Looks really sweet, doesn't it! ;)

BUT they had that project cancelled in the end because of legal actions and all by SE :mad2::

I'd most deffinately buy this game under these circumstances:

+ If I had a PSP (What? LOL)

+If it had uber graphics compared to the GBA version

+If SE didn't change too much, add-ons are good for extra game play but some can be just a plain waste of time

You -might- wanna consider getting it if you really want to play Crisis Core. ;)

I'm pretty sure it will be better.

Well add-ons can be cool at times.
An extra boss fight or two would make things a little more interesting, don't you think? ;)
